They cater to the north valley outdoor enthusiast: hunting, fishing, shooting, camping, barbecuing, you'll find your items here. This store is fairly new and is located within North Valley Plaza in the building once occupied by Mervyn's. The plaza has a lot of free parking and is easy to access from both the Cohasset Road and East Avenue freeway exits. I enjoy coming here to stock up on pellets for my Traeger grill. Easily the lowest price in town here. There is always a good selection and a wide assortment of options. They seem to have sales often as well which makes shopping here all the more enticing. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, too. You won't get a true Cabela's experience here, but definitely come if you are in need of outdoor gear at a good price.

Dennis explained things in a straight forward manner and made me feel comfortable asking a ton of questions. He gave me a lot of pointers on handgun technique and a number of drills to practice in the future. The class itself was incredibly well done, and we talked through a lot of real world scenarios which could impact a CCW holder or firearm owner. After the class we went through a couple of video/laser training drills on real world scenarios, which provided a great example of how fast your decision making has to be. I will definitely be taking future courses through Black Oak and would highly recommend them to anyone. Also, they took COVID precautions seriously, and I very much appreciated their commitment to protecting their customers and themselves.
