We elected to take a small stop and shoot some guns along the way. This facility is closed on Tuesdays between 6-9:30 AM for clean up. Those that use it are invited to bring their own targets but to clean up after themselves. There is a serious lack of shade so bring and EZ up if you are going to come to this facility during the summer. It love that it was free and I was in the company of amazing friends so you couldn't beat the memories being made.

This should only take place while the line is hot, and pointing down range while on a picnic tables; not on the tailgate, trunk or hood of a vehicle. 2-I had the only open chamber indicators. 3-A shooter was using metal targets at 15 yards. The range runs to approximately 400 yards. There are about six picnic tables made of a stone material oriented with the long side parallel to a target. If they were bench-rests they'd be oriented with the long side perpendicular to the target with two seats. Whatever you shoot consider having something to cover the area of the table you are using. There are no restrooms. You could be isolated here so if there's an accident bring help may take awhile.

Stopped by today after work to do some shooting. I picked up a Springfield XD a few years ago…read morebecause it's a cheap gun to take when fishing as I get in the water sometimes and I didn't want to take my 1911. I shot around 10 rounds and switched to another gun. Then went back to it a few minutes later and it jammed on the second feed. Live round in the chamber and I couldn't get the slide back to eject it. I forced the slide forward hoping it would seat the round but I still couldn't get it to eject. I haven't been to shooters in about a year and didn't know the guy at the counter. Of course I kept it pointed down range for a few moments incase it was a hang fire. I asked the guy at the counter if he had any experience with Springfield xd. He said yeah. I said I had a live round stuck in the chamber and wondered if he had any ideas. He said I can get it out for you. I unzipped the bag and let him grab it. I understand store rules. He had it cleared in 2 seconds and explained what I should do if it happens again. He took a moment to inspect the gun and the round and said it was good to go. Definitely recommend this place. I didn't expect him to go above and beyond like that. I never have any problems with my non California guns. These California guns have all these extra components like indicators for round in the chamber and grip safety devices. But what can you do?

As we all know 2020, 2021, thru 2022 were goofy times with "elections", "a flu", and a "vaccine". I, unfortunately, didn't spend the time with the rifle I would have liked to... kids and family were the imperative at the time. 2022 I took the rifle back to Discrete Defense and told Brad it didn't work right. He referred me to a Remington specialist with no clue. FINALLY I found a guy who helped me. He said it was a manufacturing error he pointed where the clip fit in. Easy to spot and something that Discrete Defense if they were paying attention to their purchases for sale SHOULD have spotted. A horrible deception on Brad and Discrete Defense. BEWARE!!!

I'm still pretty new when it comes to guns. I bought a revolver a couple years ago with every…read moreintention of using it... and then I put it in my gun safe where it basically became a very expensive paperweight for two years. I finally decided it was time to stop being nervous and actually go to the range. After reading the reviews, I decided to check this place out, and I'm really glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I told them it was my first time at the range, and they took the time to explain everything, answer my questions, and help me get set up. That made a huge difference because walking into a range as a newbie can feel a little intimidating. Once I got to my lane, I was only there for about 30 minutes, but I enjoyed every minute of it. My confidence definitely grew, and I left feeling way more comfortable than when I walked in. Overall, great first experience. Friendly staff, helpful guidance, and a welcoming environment for beginners. I'm looking forward to coming back for more practice -- and this time, I promise I won't wait another two years.

We all know, purchases / transfers in California are difficult and wrought with bureaucracy & nonsense. This shop, makes it simple and easy for you to get it done. In addition, they have a very nice indoor range with a VERY wide multitude of rental firearms. Aside from the good customer service & cool indoor range, they had an incredibly wide variety of stock for sale. I noticed they had VERY fair prices, like some firearms were easily $100-125 less a piece than the FUDD gun shops here in (510) Alameda County. I would say the top highlight of this gun shop was the lack of FUDD. I experienced & saw / heard zero FUDD nonsense. Just straight up good, solid, friendly customer service & plenty of great products to choose from. It's also noteworthy that they had a really good inventory of ammo for reasonable pricing. I'll definitely be spending some more money here. Keep it up guys!!
