Pricing was very competitive. Alex and his crew did a fantastic job installing my deck stairs and porch, they are beautifully done and very sturdy. Far better than what we had before. They were there within 2 days of hire and completed the work within 2 days. We told them not to paint but Alex threw in paint for just the cost of materials, which was nice. Although, I wish I had some say on the color since they didn't ask beforehand and I would have loved a natural stain instead. The crew was very kind, they'd even bring my packages into the garage for me and make sure to close the garage door when they were done. The work is sturdy, done right, and I feel confident will last. My only point of advice is to just be more mindful of the garden. I had just purchased and planted 6 new plants and had a succulent ground cover I had been working to grow out for years. It was all so trampled I thought maybe they had dug it out at first. It would have been nice to get warning so I could dig it up myself (since it was fresh planted) or for them to step around it. Overall, I'd definitely hire GAB again (and likely will to finish our deck soon) and will reccomend them to friends and family. They're responsive, quick, easy to communicate with, the work looks beautiful and done right, and the value for the price is terrific.

I thought the estimate was fair and appropriate for the cost of the materials, the demo, and the labor. A lot of the other contractors were giving me ridiculously low bids, which I knew were shady and they hadn't measured the area. They came within a few days in same day. I had a new, completely rebuilt dock, which is fabulous. They kept the area clean while they were working, and I barely knew they were there, totally respectful. I am so happy to have my dock back so that I can play on the lake.

Initially it didn't look like the project would ever take off, but they worked extremely hard with the city to get my project design approved. We added a much larger composite deck with a cover, outdoor kitchen and fire pit area. Mario P. was a fantastic project manager, if you are lucky enough to work with him on your project you'll understand why. He is so thorough, detail oriented and was very patient and responsive to all of our questions/concerns along the way. He always took the time to hear us and resolve any issues we ran into along the way and continues to do so now. He's great at his profession and is even a better person! He had an amazing team around him, Steve and Edwin did an incredible job installing our custom Azenco cover (awesome louvered cover system) that butted up against our house. There were some tweaks that had to be made along the way, but they were able to problem solve to truly make it one of a kind! Teagan with Rock Electric also did an incredible job, he had a sizeable task of installing 4 large Bromic heaters as well as running power and lighting to our Azenco cover and outdoor kitchen. He masterfully hid all the control boxes in an existing stucco pillar, which are located a good 125ft from our electrical panel in the gargage! Highly recommend the team at Timberline Patio Covers, so do yourself a favor and at least have them come out and give you an estimate. They likely won't be the cheapest price wise, but their quailty and craftsmanship are worth it!!

I found them on Craigslist under event tents. They bring in a few hundred containers a year. They are a specialized importer and much of their business is wholesale. You can buy retail at an amazing price. I'm a big fan of buying through wholesale and professional suppliers - go direct for the best! Their website shows their specialties. Now that is saunas, metal fences and gates, and event tents. They also have short cycle products - they were at the end of selling inflatable rubber rafts. They were clearing them out after removing them from their website. They often have a selection of random items like parquet panels, stuffed toys, and plastic fruit at the import price. You can track their sales and special items on their website. They have the famous metal frame poly-vinyl carport cheaper than Costco. I verified by voice phone they had stock, visited, paid, and left with the item. They did a stellar job on post purchase support. They have a telephone and Internet inside sales group. They will load the items in your vehicle. Just waiting at the counter you can see and hear how fast the call center works and observe their customer focus. I would recommend Aleko for the products they have that you need.

When I put it together, many of the staves were squared off, not rounded. The instructions are extremely vague and the screw descriptions are sometimes in Chinese. They are the contractor with all the trades who are subsidiaries to them. They worked with us to design our entire project and build to what was designed. As we started talking to People Come First originally, Denny our salesman, was a huge help in coordinating our project kick-off and helping us keep the design within reason and had a great personality during the entire process. The communication was great and the workers doing the work were meticulous in building to "MAKE IT RIGHT" or "DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME". Jack and Edwin were the main builders of the structures and hardware installation. When Christian filled in, he continued the expert workmanship for not working 100% on the project. All of these guys are responsible for the workmanship in the pictures. They continued to work with us when unforeseen issues arose so we could resolve them immediately. Having a project manager there really helped for us to understand why things had to be a certain way and, in the end, it made it safe and built right. Thank You Mario for being there to keep the project moving forward. During the construction phase we had various inspection signoffs required by the City and every inspection passed with Zero rework or corrections. In fact, the inspectors stated during the various inspections how much quality they were seeing in the work; this included the electrical. The electrical guys, Don and Ace had to run over 80 feet of a 125A line from the original circuit breaker for our heaters, outlets, light and fans. They also corrected the original wiring for my outdoor lights and fountain that was installed. All these items passed inspection with no findings from the Inspectors. What about the Costs? We had multiple change orders because of upgrades we decided to include so we increased the original cost by about 35%. It wasn't cheap, but if you are only looking to spend $50K-80K for a complete area that is 22x16 you will get what you pay for in the long run. The materials they used were also quality. They did not get any of the wood or structural hardware from HD or Lowz. It was delivered by a reputable small company here in my area and who most locals go, to get quality wood and beams. I would recommend them to anyone, but if you are looking to save money, then they are probably not your first choice. If you want a no hassle company that provides workmanship and cares about the outcome and reputation, then have People Come First (PCF) build your dream deck. They also have a model set-up in Kent off Central if you want to see what they do, or you can see some of my pictures of their work. To end, the best part is the 5 Year Warrantee of their work and continued communication on our Project.

If you could describe Exteriors West with one word it would be "Outstanding" with a capital O. Dan, who is owner and installer, has got the installation down to a science. Dan arrived at my home around 8am to install a 16' X 20' aluminum patio cover which he flawlessly and meticulously installed by himself and completed around 6:00pm, Including cleanup. He has been doing this work for 25 years now and it shows! Do you remember the days of great customer service and honesty of business owners in the 50's? Well there are a few still out there and Dan is one of them. Maybe that is why the Better Business Bureau has given Exteriors West an A+. He completed the patio cover then proceeded to look over the cover with a fine tooth comb, wiping down the cover removing any finger prints or dirt he saw then he continued to look it over and painting any scratch or blemish with the factory touch up paint. Just this alone took about 45 minutes to an hour this is how meticulous Dan is and what kind of commitment he has to make everything perfect. When Dan started the job he put down sheets of cardboard and covered my deck with it to protect it. And at the end of the job he swept up his work debris and picked up the cardboard. He then blew off my deck with a leaf blower and picked up any stray garbage. My deck was left cleaner than when he got there. Then fit and finish of my cover is outstanding! From the planning, selection of materials and construction, Dan has been very patient and full of information and suggestions. If you need a patio cover, carport, RV cover, railings, window awnings, whether it be residential, commercial or industrial, Exteriors West is the company you want to go with. He said he does jobs all around Washington and told me he had just returned from a commercial job in Oregon. Sorry if this sound like a commercial but when I find a company that does an outstanding job all the way around, I have to tell someone. And today, you're that someone.

Cary, Steven and Quinn helped me figure out what I needed, got materials ordered, and clearly communicated the How and When of the project, always ensuring I knew when/where everything was. When it came to demolition, Hunter and Codey did it in record time and except for missing my railings, there was no evidence they'd even been here, they took such great care. Yet they also did it in what I thought to be record time. The very next day, as was scheduled, Dennis, Codey and Chris showed up right on time. And despite the two decks being large in size and painfully awkward to get to, they knocked it out of the park! They had a system down that let them run through the entire installation in less than a day, which I seriously thought impossible. Like I started the review with, the ENTIRE process was actually entirely positive and it took all of the stress out of this major investment. My place looks tons better, and a neighbor even almost cried when I showed it to her, not believing it. THANKS!

We worked primarily with Steve and Dennis at Rescom on a major railing project for our front patio…read more The project was big and complicated with very few straight lines or level places. Steve came out and bid the project and did initial measurements where he walked me through the entire process and all the challenges we might face. He also provided great feedback about tweaks we could make from our initial idea to make things even better. After he left the site, Rescom set us up with an online portal where we could easily track all progress, make payments, and talk directly to Steve about the project. It was the best all-in-one experience I've had during our entire home renovation this year. Steve continued to be great, helpful, and responsive as we waited for the next steps in the project. When it finally came time for the installation, we had Dennis on site as our one man miracle worker. I couldn't believe how efficient and effective he was as a one man installer. He asked all the right questions out of the gate to make sure his work cutting and adjusting the railings didn't impact our day or that of our neighbors. When I had questions or concerns, he always went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and secure in the plan. Now that everything is done and in place, I couldn't be happier! I would use them again without a doubt, and I hope you'll be lucky enough to get on their schedule too!
