Our fence required some shrubs to be trimmed, which they handled as well for no extra cost. They did a great job cleaning up afterward. We paid up front for the drawings with the opportunity to modify the plans to our needs. We decided to go with another builder and discovered that the septic field was missed in the drawings. Therefore, the deck needs to be redrawn. We canceled Masterdecks but never received a refund for the unused amount Of funds we paid up front. We have called twice and never received a return call. Very bad experience and we do not recommend them for any project.

The colors and material are great! Ryan was our over-all coordinator and great at keeping us informed on our project, including scheduling, invoices and required changes. He was always our first point of contact for questions and very quick to respond. He was a really helpful person to work with. Mario was our field manager. He handled pre- and post-construction walk-throughs, including working with us on installation details and where all the materials would be staged. He was very clear on directions for us and for the deck builder. He was fabulous! Brett constructed our deck and stair railing. Because this was a small project, Masterdeck used a trusted partner, who was Brett for our project. We were so lucky! He's truly a master craftsman. His attention to detail and construction was fabulous! So many finishing touches that really make this deck perfect (example: finished corners so there no deck ends showing). Never any chaos, no rework and he answered all our questions. We really appreciated him and his skills so much. Having Brett do the work gave us confidence that we now have a high quality and beautiful deck that we can enjoy for years. He made this whole experience for us far less stressful. I also needed the width of the gate widened because originally they made the opening too narrow, so they were able to widen the opening before the rest of the fence was installed. I appreciate them checking with me halfway through the project. A few weeks ago one of the posts was failing I put in a warranty claim. They came out quickly and replaced it. I am impressed they stood by their warranty. Amazing service and a great company to work with.

There was an incentive to sign a contract that day, which did state a deposit needed to be made. We expressed needing some time to think and didn't feel too pressured by the company to sign. Yes, they did reach out to us once in a while before we officially signed, (took us a bit to figure things out) but seemed like the normal type of sales check ins. In the end, we decided to move forward with Cool Cat and had a pretty decent experience with them. Yes, they're a bit more pricey than some others but we felt like overall the quality seemed better. The communication was a little spotty in the sense of being bounced around from project managers throughout the process. I don't believe the PM we were speaking with was there during fence installation. I'm thankful that they were pretty responsive with us when we had questions. In the end they did a great job and were happy with the fence. They worked quickly and efficiently and didn't leave a mess thankfully. They installed a turnbuckle for our gate which was a nice addition too. Gene was the main guy for the project and he did a great job!

Pricing was very competitive. Alex and his crew did a fantastic job installing my deck stairs and porch, they are beautifully done and very sturdy. Far better than what we had before. They were there within 2 days of hire and completed the work within 2 days. We told them not to paint but Alex threw in paint for just the cost of materials, which was nice. Although, I wish I had some say on the color since they didn't ask beforehand and I would have loved a natural stain instead. The crew was very kind, they'd even bring my packages into the garage for me and make sure to close the garage door when they were done. The work is sturdy, done right, and I feel confident will last. My only point of advice is to just be more mindful of the garden. I had just purchased and planted 6 new plants and had a succulent ground cover I had been working to grow out for years. It was all so trampled I thought maybe they had dug it out at first. It would have been nice to get warning so I could dig it up myself (since it was fresh planted) or for them to step around it. Overall, I'd definitely hire GAB again (and likely will to finish our deck soon) and will reccomend them to friends and family. They're responsive, quick, easy to communicate with, the work looks beautiful and done right, and the value for the price is terrific.

I thought the estimate was fair and appropriate for the cost of the materials, the demo, and the labor. A lot of the other contractors were giving me ridiculously low bids, which I knew were shady and they hadn't measured the area. They came within a few days in same day. I had a new, completely rebuilt dock, which is fabulous. They kept the area clean while they were working, and I barely knew they were there, totally respectful. I am so happy to have my dock back so that I can play on the lake.

Initially it didn't look like the project would ever take off, but they worked extremely hard with the city to get my project design approved. We added a much larger composite deck with a cover, outdoor kitchen and fire pit area. Mario P. was a fantastic project manager, if you are lucky enough to work with him on your project you'll understand why. He is so thorough, detail oriented and was very patient and responsive to all of our questions/concerns along the way. He always took the time to hear us and resolve any issues we ran into along the way and continues to do so now. He's great at his profession and is even a better person! He had an amazing team around him, Steve and Edwin did an incredible job installing our custom Azenco cover (awesome louvered cover system) that butted up against our house. There were some tweaks that had to be made along the way, but they were able to problem solve to truly make it one of a kind! Teagan with Rock Electric also did an incredible job, he had a sizeable task of installing 4 large Bromic heaters as well as running power and lighting to our Azenco cover and outdoor kitchen. He masterfully hid all the control boxes in an existing stucco pillar, which are located a good 125ft from our electrical panel in the gargage! Highly recommend the team at Timberline Patio Covers, so do yourself a favor and at least have them come out and give you an estimate. They likely won't be the cheapest price wise, but their quailty and craftsmanship are worth it!!
