I got my fence installed a year or so ago. They use pipe in post so it lasts a long time…read more My fence was installed quickly, and they even cut the cement tiles that I had as paving stones to fit back where they went. I also needed the width of the gate widened because originally they made the opening too narrow, so they were able to widen the opening before the rest of the fence was installed. I appreciate them checking with me halfway through the project. A few weeks ago one of the posts was failing I put in a warranty claim. They came out quickly and replaced it. I am impressed they stood by their warranty. Amazing service and a great company to work with.

Unfortunately, our experience was the exact opposite from start to finish. Our scheduled appointment time came and went without any communication from the company. We ultimately had to make multiple calls and send multiple texts just to determine whether our appointment was still happening. After being told the appointment would need to be rescheduled, we continued trying to get answers and eventually heard from Jared, who informed us he was driving from Maple Valley and would be coming to our appointment. The estimate presentation itself had some positives. We appreciated being able to see the fence design and pricing breakdown on the iPad in real time, which helped us better understand the project and costs. However, the biggest issue arose when we later realized we had apparently signed a contract and authorized a $6,000 deposit, despite repeatedly and very clearly communicating that we were still gathering estimates from multiple contractors and were not prepared to make a decision that day. At no point did we believe we were entering into a binding agreement. We believed we were reviewing an estimate and discussing options. When we requested that the contract be canceled, a discount was immediately offered in an apparent effort to keep the sale. We also found it concerning that after a discount was discussed, the revised quote still reflected the original pricing. What stood out most throughout this process was how often we felt we had to advocate for ourselves. We had to chase down communication regarding the appointment, question what we had signed, request cancellation, and specifically ask for written confirmation of the cancellation and refund. At nearly every step, it felt like the burden was on us to get clear answers. After this experience, we met with another fencing company whose representative had previously worked for Cool Cat Fence. During our conversation, he stated that many of the company's sales and business tactics were very deliberate, very intentional, and specifically designed to pressure customers into making decisions on the spot. He explained that he ultimately chose to leave because he personally did not feel comfortable with the tactics being used and did not want to continue being associated with that approach. After our own experience, that information was difficult to ignore. We were also surprised to find reviews from customers alleging that the company offered incentives, discounts, or other compensation in exchange for removing or changing negative reviews. Prospective customers should take the time to read through reviews carefully and draw their own conclusions. I also sent a detailed email directly to management outlining our concerns in the hope that the feedback would help improve the customer experience for future customers. Despite receiving the manager's email address directly and sending that feedback, I never received any response. The contract was ultimately canceled and our deposit was refunded, which was the outcome we had requested immediately after we realized Jared was trying to take advantage of us. The entire experience left us frustrated, anxious, and upset about what had happened. Do not believe all these 5 star reviews. Based on our experience, we do not believe this company can be trusted.

GAB is great! They were the middle quote I received of 4. Mark was super easy to communicate with…read moreand very open to negotiation and discussion to make sure the project was going to contain every element I wanted and that the pricing was within my budget. Pricing was very competitive. Alex and his crew did a fantastic job installing my deck stairs and porch, they are beautifully done and very sturdy. Far better than what we had before. They were there within 2 days of hire and completed the work within 2 days. We told them not to paint but Alex threw in paint for just the cost of materials, which was nice. Although, I wish I had some say on the color since they didn't ask beforehand and I would have loved a natural stain instead. The crew was very kind, they'd even bring my packages into the garage for me and make sure to close the garage door when they were done. The work is sturdy, done right, and I feel confident will last. My only point of advice is to just be more mindful of the garden. I had just purchased and planted 6 new plants and had a succulent ground cover I had been working to grow out for years. It was all so trampled I thought maybe they had dug it out at first. It would have been nice to get warning so I could dig it up myself (since it was fresh planted) or for them to step around it. Overall, I'd definitely hire GAB again (and likely will to finish our deck soon) and will reccomend them to friends and family. They're responsive, quick, easy to communicate with, the work looks beautiful and done right, and the value for the price is terrific.

I thought the estimate was fair and appropriate for the cost of the materials, the demo, and the labor. A lot of the other contractors were giving me ridiculously low bids, which I knew were shady and they hadn't measured the area. They came within a few days in same day. I had a new, completely rebuilt dock, which is fabulous. They kept the area clean while they were working, and I barely knew they were there, totally respectful. I am so happy to have my dock back so that I can play on the lake.

We couldn't be more thrilled with the results!…read more The first contractor we contacted actually referred us to Timberline due to the size and complexity of the job. I had some rough drawings I had made using free 3D drawing software (look at the photos to compare the concept drawings to the final result). I showed them my ideas in December, we discussed materials, components, and pricing throughout January, and signed a contract in late January. They prepared architectural drawings in February and the engineering in March. By April we were in Permitting with the city and broke ground in late May. They knew we were planning a big party for Mid August so they worked feverishly to get it all done in time. Tony was our project manager and was great with communication. Lucas was our construction lead and Matt his assistant, and they both were great to have on the job, and they kept us updated daily with what they were working on and what was coming next. I was also impressed with their choice of contractors for the gas, electric, masonry, and painting, all did high quality work and were very professional, courteous, and respectful of our home and our neighbors. Throughout the project Tony (Project Manager) had great ideas on how we could improve things, and they were always very responsive to our wishes, working very hard to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. For as much of an ordeal as it can be to have people working at your house for four months, they made it as painless and as stress free as possible. There we no major issues or concerns, and even the minor stuff was typically cleared up in one email or phone call. I can't imagine having a better experience. And the final result is absolutely amazing! We are on the patio every day and throughout the weekends, watching football, cooking, and enjoying hosting friends and family. It's made such a huge impact on our quality of life. I only wish we had done this sooner. The scope of the work was a 16x30 covered patio, plus pavers along the front and side, and a separate paver and fire pit area. The patio has 4 skylights, a ceiling fan, 12 recessed can lights, four 4Kw heaters, a 36-inch gas fireplace, 36-inch Hestan grill and dual side burners, Bose speakers, and a 70-inch Skyvue outdoor TV. The counter tops are granite, and the kitchen, built-in seating, and fireplace are covered in natural stone. The seating is topped with natural blue stone and has built-in storage areas underneath. The flooring is Mbrico porcelain tile and it is amazing! We've already had things like grease and even a bit of paint spill on to it, but everything just wipes up effortlessly with a little shot of Formula 409 and a paper towel. It's expensive, but if you want zero maintenance flooring that will last a lifetime, this is the stuff to get. I can't speak highly enough of Timberline patio covers and their entire team. If you are looking for top quality work, you won't be disappointed.
