Orca was NOT the cheapest option nor the most expensive option, they ended up being middle of the road. I decided to go with them because Chris was VERY THOROUGH and explained EVERYTHING to me. The crew came out and knocked it out of the park, literally took them 2.5 days and it was done. This was back in June 2025, we are currently in the heart of winter and have had some serious rainy days and EVERYTHING's been GREAT, NO LEAKS, NO ISSUES! Fast forward to February 2026, I was so impressed by their service and workmanship I called them when the roof at my own house started to leak. (The leak was NOT because of age but the shotty workmanship from our builder Connor Homes.) I spoke to Chris again and he set me up with Peter. Peter and crew came out and temporarily covered my roof until they are able to get me in the books. Peter and crew came back in about a week and took care of my roof. The entire process took about 2 days and literally 3 days after they were done we had a crazy rain storm. Once again, NO LEAKS, NO ISSUES. The owner of Seattle Roofing came out and confirmed that it had come from my roof. He flew a drone to inspect the roof but said he couldn't find where it came from. Then on June 18, 2026, I noticed something else that didn't look right on the roof. I contacted the company, and a technician came out and fixed one issue, but he left without any explanation or even letting me know he was finished. Using my phone's zoom feature, I could still see an area of the roof that didn't look right. I asked the company to have the technician come back. Unfortunately, I received rude responses from Steven. He always spoke as if the problem was somehow my fault. I had to follow up several times and remind him that the rainy season was approaching, but nothing happened. This was only the second time Seattle Roofing had to send someone out to my house since installing the roof. If the job had been done correctly the first time, we wouldn't even be having this discussion. Eventually, I received a response saying that the technician had determined the area was fine. I sent Steven an updated photo and asked whether the exposed section of the roof looked acceptable to him. I never received a response. You can decide for yourself by looking at the photos and determining whether you would want to hire a company that treats customers this way after they've already been paid. I spent a lot of money on this roof for the peace of mind that it would protect my home. Instead, I'm left worrying about potential issues, trying to find someone else to correct what appears to be their mistake, and still have not received any explanation as to why the exposed section of the roof is considered acceptable. The project was to demo 800 square feet of 30 year old tile and install new tile flooring that runs from the large entry way under the front door into the living room of my house. With huge plate glass windows throughout the space. There was also a rainwater drainage issue that needed a solution. All my concerns about the tile layout and sloping for drainage and protecting the big windows were all addressed both upfront and throughout process. This job included removing the old tiles, machine grinding to remove old cement and rebuilding of the cement base outside, putting in a new drainage pipe through a cement frame under a glass wall and then installing the new tile. The end result is a beautiful new tile floor. I highly recommend DJ and his team to handle your home remodel projects.

I asked about any sort of warranty, having one or two cracks I could've looked past it. When it continued and started cracking all over it got frustrating. Especially when JD came out and looked at the cracks and told me he would ask his concrete guys about a fix. (At this point I was already anticipating he would NOT get back to me, and what do you know. Ghosted.) No communication after that, no attempts to update me on any sort fix. For anyone that reads the reviews. You'll notice the out of country, had an emergency excuse. He used that excuse with me as well after blowing us off for multiple days at a time. Seems fishy. Cheap contractor. Cheap work. Bad customer service. I'd recommend to do your due diligence and get more quotes especially if these guys are your only one. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Together, we brainstormed with him on a new layout (including custom planter boxes around the perimeter). Within a week, the Sea Renovation crew had demolished the old deck, and three weeks later, the project was done -- right on time, just like the estimate we'd gotten. The construction guys did an amazing job, I was shocked by how efficiently they tore down and rebuilt the patio and fence. Work was sometimes completed before I had fully reviewed and approved it, leaving me feeling that I wasn't adequately involved in decisions affecting my own renovation. One example involved relocating the oven by just four inches, which also required addressing the ventilation. I was told I hadn't communicated the need to move the vent. The contractor proposed relocating the ventilation through the attic to the roof, which would have involved additional expense. After obtaining multiple bids, I learned that this extensive relocation was unnecessary and that the existing ventilation could be retrofitted. I ultimately hired someone else to complete the work. Similarly, closing off the existing attic access meant an alternative access location was needed, which resulted in additional charges. The contractor also refused to remove the full countertop installation charge from the final cost after I hired another professional to complete that work. His explanation was that the project had expanded beyond its original scope and he was trying to recoup some costs. However, I believe some of these additional costs stemmed from planning oversights that should have been anticipated. Although some smaller mistakes were corrected, the project required an unreasonable amount of oversight on my part. I frequently had to monitor the work, follow up on details, and address issues I expected the contractor to manage. I was left feeling that the project would not have been completed to an acceptable standard without my ongoing involvement. Ultimately, this experience fell well short of my expectations for communication, planning, transparency, and project management. I encourage prospective customers to document the scope of work carefully, clarify approval processes, and get a clear understanding of how additional charges will be handled before hiring this company.

When Alex arrived, he immediately commented how nice our house is and had ideas to go with the siding that we were looking to replace. His team were respectful and considerate of our needs: as we sometimes work from home, there was a time that we had to ask them to pause some construction while we were on work calls. Alex made some siding suggestions that we never thought about and are very happy with his ideas. He also suggested a change with our front porch lighting and soffit and WOW, we love it. Regarding cost, GAB Construction were very reasonable, and the little additions that they did were well worth it! Timeline: Alex said it would approximately take a week and a half to two weeks, weather permitting, and he was spot on. Highly recommend Alex and team (GAB Construction)! We look forward to working with them in the future.

Pricing was very competitive. Alex and his crew did a fantastic job installing my deck stairs and porch, they are beautifully done and very sturdy. Far better than what we had before. They were there within 2 days of hire and completed the work within 2 days. We told them not to paint but Alex threw in paint for just the cost of materials, which was nice. Although, I wish I had some say on the color since they didn't ask beforehand and I would have loved a natural stain instead. The crew was very kind, they'd even bring my packages into the garage for me and make sure to close the garage door when they were done. The work is sturdy, done right, and I feel confident will last. My only point of advice is to just be more mindful of the garden. I had just purchased and planted 6 new plants and had a succulent ground cover I had been working to grow out for years. It was all so trampled I thought maybe they had dug it out at first. It would have been nice to get warning so I could dig it up myself (since it was fresh planted) or for them to step around it.
