Now, every time I drop my dog off, I'm told it will take an hour, only to receive a text 15-20 minutes later saying she's ready for pickup. It's becoming increasingly obvious that these grooming appointments are being rushed, and unfortunately, the quality reflects it. Her hair was cut very unevenly around her head, which is unacceptable for the price I'm paying. I expect quality grooming and attention to detail, not a rushed job. Sadly, my recent experiences have been consistently disappointing, and I will not be returning.

It's a cute little shop, people seem friendly and the pets I saw hanging out didn't seem stressed. My 1yo GSD oddly seemed comfortable with them... which was a big positive to me! I got her back a few hours later, nails trim, bathed and fresh breath. She didn't even seem like she was in a hurry to leave... definitely made me happy to see that. Now I will say, initially I wasn't very fond of the shampoo scent they used... kinda reminded me of the hand soap in elementary school... but it's been 3 days and my pup still smells good and isn't shedding like crazy (unbelievable!!).... It was a last minute appointment needed for the little pup and with the help of Yelp, we found Sara. I put in a searched which came up with places for what I was looking for. There were a few places that came up but she was the first to reach out. The sweet conversation explained what I was looking for and she replied professionally with what services they offered. Between a few back and forth we were able to get him in last minute. She squeezed us in day off which we were very thankful of. The place itself was in a mini strip mall with a few other businesses. A thrift/vintage shop, a bar, a few coffee shops, hair salon and nail shop. There's a decent size parking lot but when we arrived it was packed but lucky enough to find a spot. When we walked in, it was a little confusing as it was a vet. The ladies behind the counters were all sweet when we checked in but wasn't sure we were at the right place. Well, it's a vet and groomers on site. It was just a couple minutes wait till Sara came out to greet us. First off, she's such a doll and sweetheart. Very professional and takes pride in what she does. Chatted with here for a little bit about what we wanted before handing over the little pup to her. We were quoted about 2 and half hour or so which she'll call us 20 minutes before hand to let us know he'll be ready soon. Freddie Mercury was in good hand. Picking him up, he was such a cutie. The bathing, cut and grooming was great. Nails were cut and file for that nice finished look. Also he had the cutest little bow tie on which was the little icing on the cake. From the chat on Yelp, Sara explained all the pricing and services ahead of time to give us the breakdown. As it was our first time, she did take good care of us with everything. Total for everything and extra add on including gratuity and discounts for first time, it was just short of 130.00. Price wise for everything was good. It was worth it and her service was very well worth it. Even though we're not from the area and it was a last minute appointment, we're keeping her in our book as we'll be back in town again and know Freddie will be in good hands next time. The place was very professional and clean. There's a drinks section with a mini fridge of drinks and a water station for refilling your bottles and coffee machine. It was busy which is great for them. Sara, a professional and sweet person who has a special skills for what she does. Friendly, sweet and a doll. Highly recommend Sara.

This was always my favorite local Petco - parking in the lot was easy and the selection was great since it's a big store. We even found a puffer jacket for Darby that has become a favorite wherever we go (he's actually wearing it in the photos). Ian was often the associate who helped me at the register on weeknights when I came to refill my rescue dog's wet food. Generally, service was always excellent at this store and I will be sad to see them go! Currently, much of the inventory is on sale anywhere from 10% to 25% off. I got a great discount on a 5-gallon Fluval fish tank made especially for bettas. Just keep in mind many of the critters (canaries, small animals, fish) have already been relocated, if you're looking for new pets.
