What really stood out to us was how thoughtful and selective Karla is about the dogs she accepts. Some of the other places we looked at had some dogs that seemed a bit reactive, but she clearly puts a lot of effort into making sure her environment stays calm. She suggested we do doggy daycare a couple of times before boarding so our corgi, Kai, could get comfortable with her, the space, and other dogs in her care. Our dog immediately loved Karla, had a great time with the other dogs, and came home happy and exhausted every time. She also sent us daily videos, and Kai always looked genuinely happy playing with the other dogs. We're so so glad we went with Karla and will absolutely be using her again for daycare and boarding next time we go out of town. She clearly has a real gift with dogs. We can't recommend her enough!

Karla provides such a wonderful space and the right balance of attention to the pups and humans! The routine of going twice a week has giving Edna more time in the car (and becoming more chill during the ride), she is much calmer at home and getting great social pack time. It gives us great peace of mind knowing she is so well cared for when she is away from home. The outcome is definitely positive. She's less anxious, more calm and even dealing with other dogs better while out on our walks.

Pet Grooming Salon review: My pup had been going to Petsmart…read moreLB Towne Center since he was 6 months old -he is now almost 2! All his groomers in the last visits were wonderful no matter who the groomer was - whether for a BATH and BRUSH or for a BATH and FULL haircut with all the other services such as the nail trimmings, teeth brushing, etc. This salon takes care of the pets. We trust the staff knowing that our pup is in good hands every time. They suggest what needs to be done based on what is best for our pup, may it be the type of shampoo his fur, or the length of the cut, etc. We like seeing the friendly pet groomers and employees there everytime, like Lauren, Tanya, Jenny, Milo and the rest of the team! Thank you so much!

PetSmart After…read moretaking our dog there for about two years, we have decided to stop going due to a loss of trust in how they handle our pet. They mistakenly placed their red leash around his neck instead of his chest, as they usually do. When my dog saw us through the window, he naturally pulled, and because the leash was just a loop, it caused him to have trouble breathing and start wheezing. To make matters worse, when I pointed it out, the employee claimed it must have been his collar, showing a lack of accountability, and then stated that it was not their intention to hurt our dog. I then asked the other employee for the name of the person who put the leash around my dog's neck so I could file a formal complaint, she informed me that it is company policy not to provide employee names. The overall experience was quite unpleasant, and it was disappointing to see them try to make excuses instead of owning up to the mistake.

I can't say enough good things about the experience! Sissy was proving nearly impossible to potty train, but with David's guidance she finally started going outside consistently. He really jump-started her potty training and gave her the foundation she needed for better socialization, which was such a relief since she's a rescue and I had only had her for about a week and a half before the training started. David was so respectful of my home and went above and beyond to keep me comfortable while I was away. He sent daily text updates (often multiple times a day) with photos and videos, which reassured me that Sissy was doing fine and thriving. He was also extremely responsive via text, which gave me such peace of mind. Because Sissy was still scared of humans at the beginning, she wasn't ready to pick up all the commands like sit, stay, and come during the vacation package. But David didn't give up--he signed us up for follow-up obedience classes and even did a private session with me afterward. That's when everything clicked, and Sissy quickly learned her commands and blossomed under his training. I am so grateful for David and Karma Dog Training. Sissy has come so far thanks to their work, and I trust them completely with her care and training. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trainer who is compassionate, reliable, and truly invested in your dog's success.

The bonus was my puppy was excited to go every Sunday and tired and ready to sleep when we got home. I would definitely recommend them for the puppy socialization classes. I just wish I knew about them sooner.
