Loved this relaxing beautiful view of Temecula. Easy to purchase tickets on Groupon. Communication was through texts and email. Group text with all parties included the night before to confirm & morning of. Meeting of address was a bit dark but on the same road as long shadow winery & Peltzer winery. There was no sign or street light or any light indicating "uncorked tours" or "hot air balloon rides." We saw a handful of cars parked on the side of the dark road so we parked near them hoping it was the correct address. Check in was easy, signed the waiver online prior to arriving, weighed on a scale with all clothes & any belongings going on the ride. Bathrooms were available prior to leaving and getting transported on a nice party bus to where the balloons would take off. Staff was nice & provided great customer service by taking many pictures for those who wanted pictures early at 7am as the balloons were getting inflated!! Doug, was our flight guy who was nice & informative. Champagne was provided while in the balloon which was a nice treat to us early morning risers. Overall flight time was about 45-60mins read more

AMAZING. Loved our experience today! I had to reschedule many times due to change in plans (dang covid and wedding cancellations!) and weather. They were so nice in rescheduling us multiple times. The actual day of was an easy and fun experience! Check in was quick (and yes they require masks!) We walked to our balloon and got to take pictures (they have a photographer too!) and go inside the balloon. We then popped some bottle and went on our flight. BEAUTIFUL day! Our pilot Tim was amazing and made for a great experience. I bought the hot ballon experience in Temecula in February 2023, as Valentine's day gift, and it is passed a year and we were not able to do this experience. It has been canceled more than 6 times, when they rebooked it takes 2 months and it is canceled again. I am very disappointed with this disrespectfully situation. Company just say sorry, that's it. I have tried calling this company 6 times over the last three weeks trying to book a reservation for a surprise party. I have spoken to multiple people who keep saying they're going to "call me back" and no one does. I've sent multiple emails and whoever I get ahold of on the phone either claims that they are new, their system is new, they're putting my information on a "group chat message" to call me back and then nothing. I have already sent out invitations because the people I have spoken to say the date is available and that someone will call me back to confirm and then nothing. I also sent an email to the email the person on the phone provided me...she gave me the wrong email! The email she provided me was for a different company! A hot-air balloon company (sunrise balloons!). I should have taken into account all of the previous reviews with similar experiences. I'll be booking a different company. I had scheduled a party bus pre-Covid to celebrate a friends' birthday. Uncorked Tours managed all the payments for my group so I didn't have to. Covid happened, we rescheduled once, the group size dwindled from 10+ to just four. Our two couples were merged with a larger group and yesterday we went on a 4 hour winery tour. I would like to start off that the young lady that took our photos was very sweet and our pilot Dan was amazing! But the front staff while checking in were not welcoming. After getting up early to drive to Temecula the last thing I want to deal with is rude customer service. First issue was this so called breakfast they served. They clearly didn't have enough for everyone and a few pastries and a bowl of apples is not even a light breakfast. Second was that they charged my boyfriend an extra $165 (on top of everything we paid) for weighing more than 220 , he weighed in at 231. Weird how he weighed 226 when we left home but suddenly gained 6 lbs. It seems very odd that they claim its due to weight limits but other companies like California Dreamin have a weight limit of 300 lbs. The cherry on top was the envelope that was handed to me with a suggested tip ($50-60) . So you want me to charge me $165 and suggest I tip $60 bringing my total to $225 more... No thanks. As a native of Temecula I have grown up in the area and will not be recommending this company and encourage others to book with California Dreamin. Only reason I'm not leaving a 1 star is due to our pilot. read more

Wife and I and our 2 best friends did the 4 hour wine tasting tour through Groupon. Driver Feliciano and his assistant Debra were great, They had the 20+ passangers on the party bus singing, dancing, pole dancing etc. It was so much fun, my stomach hurt from laughing so much. It's fun to see what a little liquid courage can do. Feliciano took us to 3 different wineries, oak mountain, Maurice Car'rie, long shadow ranch winery they were all great. Let me start by saying the professionalism of this staff is amazing! We purchased our hot air balloon tour sometime last year but it took awhile before my friend and I could get our available dates synchronized. Even after our Groupon had expired, they honored it and we were able to reschedule at a later date. Well, today was the day however it was cancelled due to weather conditions that would not make it safe or pleasant. We were 20 minutes into an hour and a half drive when we received the text. No worries we said. Let's turn around and find a restaurant that's open at 4am. What we could not believe were the number of unhappy people complaining about the cancellation in the group text. My friend and I were both appalled. The Uncorked Tour staff, including the pilot, remained professional in their responses. This would've been my second time doing this tour. The first being in November of 2022 and they are great. We were fine with safety first and also knowing that the foggy conditions would not make a great experience regardless. I got an E-Bike tour through Livingsocial and We ended up coming late as we got the wrong address, we had issues to contact the vendor as she gives the phone number to us in very short notice (less than 24h), and the phone number to make an appointment is a different one from the one they have on their website. I finally managed to get in contact with them via this weird chat option you get from Googling the vendor. The owner was extremely rude and was literally blaming us for everything that happened. The waiver wants to make you responsible for any damage to the bikes whether it is your fault or not. Not only that, we ended up NOT going on the tour but she redeemed the voucher anyway and now I'm playing this ping pong game with Livingsocial. My good friend has had good experiences with living social and never had such a bad experience with a vendor until now. This is my first time utilizing Livingsocial and quite frankly I'm disappointed to how living social has handled the situation. I was literally ripped off. read more

Belated 21st birthday celebration. Went to three wineries. The last one was my least favorite because it wasn't as pretty as the first two but they did have three animals to pet. You get 5-6 tastings at each winery. We didn't finish all of the samples because we are such light weights. The second winery was the only place that provided some bread with dip. The tour thank goodness provided some cheese and crackers and chocolate. Appreciate the mimosas and cold water!! The second winery gave us a free wine glass. The trip lasted about 4 hours. My granddaughter and I traveled from VA to take a hot air balloon ride as the finale for her graduation gift. Uncorked Tours cancelled the flight due to weather. When I explained the situation I was told the tickets were good for a year. We travelled around 3000 miles and could not stay past the the we booked and would not be making the trip again for their timetable. The info on the "insurance" is in very small print and I did not see it. (BTW: my new glasses should be here on 6/18.) When I asked for a refund it was denied based on tickets good for year and "insurance". I would not recommend this tour to my worst enemy. It is a rip-off if you have to travel to get to it. If I had known it was like this, I'd have stop in New Mexico and taken a flight with people who are honest. DO NOT USE UNCORKED TOURS. read more

That being said, I booked a tour for my Birthday and invited friends and family though out California that I haven't seen in quite awhile. I booked the tour in November for December 30th at 11:00 am. I received a text message the night before December 29th at 4:15 pm stating they have engine/transmission problems. The Company cancelled not I. I can't understand why they just have one limo and will not refund our money. I'm going through my credit card and disputing for months now. Very unreliable tour and also read reviews about the husband being inappropriate to women. Do not recommend this business to anyone. My mom, sister and daughter went on this amazing balloon ride. The pilot was very nice and informative. The views are great. I especially like the fact that this company will not fly if the weather does not allow it. It is very safe. Weather can change and our confirmation came the night before. Let me start off by saying if you have any hesitation about the hot air balloon tour, ignore that hesitation and just do it! I've heard some scary stories about hot air balloon rides and I am deathly afraid of heights. Somehow, I decided to do it and I am so glad I did! This balloon ride was completely smooth, which definitely helped put my mind at ease. The sunrise ride begins by checking in at 5:30am. They serve some light pastries, coffee, tea and mimosas (orange juice). Once everyone signs their waivers, you head onto the party bus for a couple miles until you reach the hot air balloon grounds. Once you arrive, they take quite a bit of photos before takeoff. The ride itself is approximately an hour, give or take. Our balloon reached approximately 4,000 ft. The ride allows you to experience a gorgeous sunrise over the wine country, all while enjoying some champagne. I would definitely do this again and recommend it. Best Tours, love their Hot Air Balloon Tour, very nice and awesome ride. Will definitely go back. Awesome pics which they posted in their fb website. They don't post the pictures in the Fb right away, it took three weeks to go back and see. So be patient on that part. They only have champagne during the start of the hot air balloon journey and some water. No snacks. Make sure u go to the restroom before the start of the journey coz there is no restroom available. We planned an uncorked wine tour for a bachelorette party. I had previously been on one of these tours a few years ago and had a blast. This tour/company has gone downhill SO much. I wanted to warn other brides and/or participants to try and detour them from using this company like we did. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO WITH ANOTHER WINE TOUR COMPANY. The first issue began immediately- we paid a significant amount extra to have a PRIVATE pick up from our local Air BNB. They were over 1 HOUR late picking us up- at that point this was no big deal... yet. You could clearly see the company had forgotten about us; the driver was driving erratically fast to get us to the first winery. This is when we started to see the issues. All the other members of our (nonprivate) wine tour were already done with their wine flights by the time we got there. My girls and I had gotten our wine, and not even 15 minutes later we were being (not so subtly) rushed back on to the bus to go to the next winery. We got completely jipped out of the first winery. She rudely told us to hurry up and we literally began chugging our wine that she had just given us. THEIR mistake of picking us up late caused us to miss out on the full experience at the first winery. Then comes the second winery, IN PLAIN SIGHT on their website, it promises 5-6 tastings of wine per winery stop. We get to this winery and they give us LITERALLY ONE glass of wine. (and not a large glass) Since we were stopped for so long and empty glasses in our hand, we actually ended up having to buy additional glasses of wine since they literally gave us ONLY ONE taste cup. The 'tour guide' (if you can call her that) laughed about it and said she never knows what that specific winery will do when she shows up. "Sometimes they have tastings, sometimes they just give one cup, I never know". AGAIN IN PLAIN SIGHT on their website, it boasts that you will have a "Certified Wine & Spirit Tour Guide" there to go over wine facts and history. That is LAUGHABLE. The lady did NOTHING of the sort, she took a few pictures and sat down conversing about personal stuff with the driver the entire time we were getting wine. The website also boasts that you will have 50+ pictures of your group, like stated above, the lady took minimal pictures and sat in a chair the entire time. (Its been over a week and still no pictures have been posted on the Facebook page, after scrolling through their page it looks like a couple day turn around on pictures, but NOTHING for our tour STILL.) In addition to the websites empty promises listed above, the website also states that champagne, and light snacks will be served on the bus while driving to the next tour- we had warm mimosas and zero snacks on the bus. The website describes a completely different experience than what they are giving to their customers. Then it came to the end of the tour and we were told that we would be heading back to the first winery to drop everyone off. NOPE, the tour bus pulls up to our Air BNB and shows all the other guests the exact location of an air BNB filled where a bunch of girls are staying at. We paid for a PRIVATE drop off and pick up yet, the driver was too lazy to take the other guests back first. This is a huge red flag and safety concern for guests. We wanted to get the 'best' experience so we booked directly through the company and paid full price for the tour AND paid additional $$ for the private pick up. In addition- They also force you to pre-tip and then provided terrible service. There was 11 of us in the tour and we tipped $20 EACH. For what? The tour guide- who did absolutely nothing and the driver who drove erratically and picked us up an hour late? So disappointing. I've called multiple times to express my concerns to a manager and can even get a call back. Called this morning for the third- or fourth time? read more

My group of friends and I had a scheduled hot air balloon ride with Uncorked Tours. We arrived and it was a little bit disorganized, our party bus did not come in that morning. So we drove ourselves (in our vehicles) to the departing zone. Once we arrived, the balloon pilot canceled our flight because of overcast weather. I really appreciated his honesty, he said he didn't want to fly us for 20min only and take our money, when the ride is usually 45min. and he said we can reschedule. Rescheduling has been a huge mess. We were told we had priority since it was canceled but we've tried several times to reschedule and the only open dates are holidays, and they want to charge us $100 extra per person! Outrageous! No wonder holi"dates" are open. In the end we requested a refund. It would have been fair if they truly accommodated us another date and given priority like they said they would, (especially when you're not from CA).
