In Royal Farms idiotic need to automate everything, you couldn't pay for gas at the pumps and had to go inside to pay at one of their automated checkout kiosks. While to me that's a conspiracy just to drive people into the store in the hope that they'll buy more MSG laden treats or fried chicken, it's also a real PIA when the kiosks weren't always working to purchase fuel. The kiosk display shows an image with chicken and fries (wedges) but it doesn't clearly state that the fries actually come with the 'meal' when ordering. So for clarification I asked if the fries came as part of the 'meal' - and man did I get a hostile response from a food counter 'lady'! It wasn't like I was trying to get over on anyone - all I wanted to know is whether I also needed to order the fries separately - in addition to the chicken. I didn't want to end up with TWO orders of fries! Later I find the menu on their website states, "*ALL CHICKEN MEALS COME WITH A SIDE OF WESTERN FRIES." Screw this place - go to Popeyes or ANYWHERE else where customers are actually valued.
