CVS, which 30 years ago put a ton of mom and pops out of business saying they provided Convenience, Value and Service (CVS) is now a joke. Their prescriptions are more expensive than any other place. Their non-pharmacy items are more expensive than anywhere else. And now with total self check out there's no one to help you if you need something. Lately I've noticed some smaller, Privately owned pharmacies are opening up. My research is showing they will provide better service at reasonable prices for me so I'm done with CVS. I approached the sub counter and waited to be acknowledged by one of the employees behind the counter. Neither bothered to greet me. Or to tell me that the line, apparently, usually snakes to the right. Despite my standing and waiting patiently, Deja took the order of a woman who arrived at the counter after me. Still not a word of acknowledgment from anyone behind the counter. Eventually, the gentleman begin the counter asked me if I was picking up an order. I responded that I was not picking up; rather, I had been standing at the counter to place an order. That's when Deja said "the line usually forms that way". What Deja should have said was, "my apologies - I didn't see you, please let Me take your order now". This displayed a lack of customer service skills, which can be corrected through intensive training. However, most disturbingly, Deja also exposed herself to be unprofessional, immature and rude by responding to me by screwing up her face, making faces, rolling her eyes, smirking and giggling. Deja is beyond correction. What she needs is to seek a job in another field as she is clearly incapable of any job on the service industry.

We called this Walgreens location and they were more than happy to transfer her prescription (which was already waiting for her back at home), and had it ready quickly. The staff is super friendly and nice, and they go out of their way to take care of the customers. We were not expecting a call back regarding our request, but 45 min after we got off the phone with them, they called us back to let us know that they successfully transferred the prescription and it would be ready and waiting for us at the pharmacy. This location was large, clean, brightly lit, well stocked, and staffed with friendly people. Although we didn't use the drive through, there is also one available for pharmacy purposes. Although it's slightly out of the way from our beach house, I would drive the extra mile or two just to visit this location.

They are so on the ball, knowledgeable, and so friendly! They actually take the time to talk with you if you have questions, or concerns, and genuinely seem to want to help! Even my dog loves them!! Sometimes she comes in the car with me to pick up my meds in the drive through, she always gets super excited because they are so sweet to her, plus they always give her a milk-bone which she appreciates! There is not one negative thing at all to say about this pharmacy. Besides the kind staff, quick fill of meds, as well as delivery, I think my favorite thing about this pharmacy is that it makes you feel like you are at your local neighborhood pharmacy. They remember your name, they are never unpleasant, and super efficient! It is refreshing to go into public these days, and be treated so kind.
