Doctor prescribed antibiotics and sent the prescription over at 5:30 pm. I was at the pharmacy at 5:50 pm, they would not fill the prescription. Great, I guess I will be suffering for 12 hours until you guys are open again. Not cool! read more

Totally done with their pharmacy. I just got out of hand surgery an hour ago and Missi (who's been rude to me in the past) was once again rude, degrading and un helpful yet again. Medicine isn't there once again and its after hours enough that the doctors office is closed. Same thing happened when I cut my thumb. I sat there waiting because they said it wasn't there yet called the dr back because they said they didn't have it and I was told the exact time it was called in and the employee was like , "oh yeah there it is" after I waited an additional 37 mins In waiting area for them to call me up. Had I not have went back to the counter to tell Them it was called in at 3:27 according to the dr office, I'd still be sitting there collecting dust. Now I sit here fresh out of surgery with no pain medicine or antibiotics... never again . read more

Poor service. Went to PU two RX, one for .28, and one for 3.33. Presented them with two checks (from Walgreens) for those amounts and they refused to accept them. Lady behind counter took them to someone (Mgr?) who said "we can't take these", their own checks. This is the sort of stuff I used to shovel back when we had horses. Pharmacy is only open until 6:00 PM. Also , the Pharmacy is CLOSED on SATURDAY and SUNDAY. Unacceptable.

My wife was in Berlin rehab for 3 months from a stroke. When she was ready to come home they told me to pick up her prescriptions at Walgreens. Well they were closed for the weekend. My wife got home latter on Friday. So I went to pick up the prescriptions on Monday, they gave me 8 presc. well they did not give me the blood thinner and did not tell me. So 6 days later she had a stroke again. Now 3 months later she can't talk or use her right side to good. My son spoke to the manager he said people make mistakes read more

It's pretty basic as far as pharmacies are concerned. Pretty pricey, but convenient. I usually only go if I'm in a pinch and really need something because it is close by. read more

The only reason I am giving this pharmacy any stars is due to the super friendly staff of the walgreens store; as well as the kindness of one pharmacy tech. Its a super basic normal Walgreens store. However, this store has the absolute worst pharmacy, & pharmacists, I have ever encountered in my entire life! The male pharmacist is not only is brash, but doesnt seem to understand basic math, and he lies to price gauge. Dropping off your prescription, the Window says it is a fast Fill of your prescription, this is a lie. They tell you it will be ready in an hour or so, another lie. Its typically a solid 3-4 hours if not longer. The brash, and super rude, male pharmacist had told me my insurance didn't cover a medicatupn I dropped off for my stomach as again I was sick!! He wanted me to pay out of pocket for the entire medication @ $400. I knew this was incorrect and the medication is covered! So I had to spend an entire day calling my dr, insurance, and new pharmacy. There was not any issues Whatsoever with my insurance, even my Dr asked me to please stop going to Walgreens as every single month I drop my medication off there is an issue of something every single time no matter what, my dr is even annoyed by this pharmacy!! I have some medications to which I refill once a month. My last refill was on 3/17, I asked for my refill on 4/20. There should have been zero issue. I again had to call my dr to help me fix this as they were telling me my refill is not due until 4/26? Ok so I am not a pharmacist, but I know how to add! If Mary filled her monthly prescription on March 17th, what date would her 30 day supply need filled? This was a word problem the pharmacist didn't understand. However the pharmacist told me I am wrong despite having my refill in my hand with the date. I went 12 days without my medication due to them not understanding how to do the above word problem in the month of February. In closing, I asked for my paper prescription back, I had to fight with them for 2 days until the amazing tech finally helped me get my prescription back. Both pharmacists told me I have to go back to my dr office and get new prescriptios written as they are not willing to give the prescription paper back, and my Dr doesn't send anything electronically. Thank God for the one tech,(you know who you are, thank you, you should be running that pharmacy!) who is super kind and helpful, without her help I would still be extremely sick as I needed my medication as I was SICK with an extremely debilitating stomach isssue! Dealing with this pharmacy staff made me feel like I was talking to a bunch of caddy 8th grade girls. I was able to finally, after 3 days of fighting with them, to go in and pick up my prescription paper that had not been filled. When I took my prescription to the new pharmacy I use, not only was there no issue with my insurance, but my meds we filled in 15 min! Fully covered by insurance. Which makes me wonder, how is the pharmacy staff at Walgreens so untrained? How can they not understand the concepts of basic math? How can they lie to get money out of people for the store? Do they get an award each time they screw up someone's meds? Maybe a cash bonus for pretending insurance doesn't cover things that it actually does? I don't know the why, I just want to warn everyone that doesn't already know (as most locals in OP also hate this pharmacy) please avoid the middle school drama of the actually pharmacy in this store and please go down the street anywhere else!! There are 3 pharmacy's on 589 do yourself a favor, save your self the stress, and headache do not take your prescriptions here! Especially if you are sick and need the med(s) asap!! I had been using this Walgreens pharmacy since 2010 when moving here from Baltimore. I Finally had enough!! I now stick with the one local (non chain) pharmacy in the pines. They are kind. They are knowledgeable. They don't make you feel as if you have entered a dramatic nasty group of 8th grade girls. They are honest, and even will deliver for free, which is amazing when you are sick and not up to driving. They even care about the patients at the new pharmacy, not even a mile from this Walgreens!! The Walgreens pharmacists/pharmacy staff, minus the one really amazing tech, DO NOT care whatsoever! They care about 2 things. MONEY, & DRAMA! The pharmacists here are a disgrace to the medical community, and need to be trained, hopefully some basic math skill will be included in training as well as how to act like a professional! read more

I needed a knee brace desperately so I stopped at the only store open in Ocean pines. When I walked in the older man behind the counter greeted me with "we close in 5 minutes". I informed him I knew exactly what I needed & would be quick, I asked him about a couple of the braces, he just stood there with his arms folded shrugging his shoulders & said "I'd pick the one that would put you in less pain" with a 'Hurry up I could care less' face. I quickly turned around & went back to the aisle, I grabbed a couple other things & as I was grabbing my last item I turned around & another employee was standing there & asked me if I was ready to check out. Really? It's a business if you're making money you should be wanting to stay open & not rushing your customers out. I gave 3 stars because the prices were pretty decent but I think I'm probably just going to stick to the Rite Aid down the street. They have a friendlier staff. read more
