The amount of dresses was insane and the best brands and selection I have seen in a long time. The dresses I picked out, one on sale! and one regular priced, were very reasonably priced. I did not interact with any staff, except when asking for a fitting room. It was crowded, but I was able to try on my clothes without a wait. My purchases make me even more excited for the various events I have coming up where I know I will be able to wear them!

At register I noticed the person before me was asked if they were in the system but I was not. Both this time and the previous time I was there. No matter what age or race. People should be treated with respect. I will continue shopping at SMU but stick with Annapolis and Bethesda stores.

As someone who worked in retail for nearly a decade, customer service is important to me. I was…read moretraveling to ocean city and needed a hair care product and decided to venture to ulta Beauty nearby. I walked in the door and was greeted by a young sales associate who asked me if they could help me find anything. I pulled up a picture of exactly what I was looking for and I had already done my due diligence and researched that ulta did in fact carry the product. He looks for a second and assured me that this location does not carry the brand design essentials at all. I almost walked out but decided to look around myself since I did go out of my way and I really needed this product or something similar. I walk to the back and find hair care products that look like they cater to black women and amazingly there is an entire section of Design Essentials. I quickly locate the product I needed and headed to check out. After arriving at the checkout I am instructed to put in my phone number. I inform the young lady I have never purchased anything from Ulta and did not have a rewards membership. She asked if I would like to sign up and I declined. She then informed me that I could not make any returns without being a rewards member. Overall I was more annoyed with the policy and the lack of knowledge of the sales associate. I'd rather someone admit they don't know or ask for help than just confidently tell me their store doesn't carry the very product I found a whole display of.
