Decided to go through the drive-thru since we were just dropping off a prescription to be filled. We couldn't figure out why the wait was taking so long and why we weren't moving. We couldn't get out of line as there were 3 cars behind us and 2 cars in front of us. We waited so long that my son fell asleep in the car. I could see the pharmacist laughing and chatting it up, taking her good ole time, with the two cars in front of us, which made us so mad, the drive-thru is suppose to be fast, if you want to socialize go inside. We ended up waiting for 30 MINUTES in the drive-thru. When we finally got to the drive-thru window, the pharmacist apologized and mentioned they're doing COVID-19 testing. We were too irritated and PO'd due to the long wait to even care. I mean, why not put up signs to let people know COVID-19 testing is happening through the drive-thru? Then customers would at least know there may be a long wait, and they can decide if they want to go through the drive-thru, or go into the store. Open communication and signs, its not that hard people! The pharmacist was trying to make small talk with us to make up for us having to wait for so long, ain't nobody got time for that. We politely shut it down as we just wanted to drop off the prescription and leave as we've been there way too long. We asked how long it would take for the prescription to be filled. The pharmacist said 20 minutes, and that it wouldn't be long so we could hang around. Are you kidding me, we just waited 30 minutes, do you really think we want to wait another 20. No thanks, we told her we would come back. She tried to convince us to stay, and again we told her no thanks. We then said we'll come through the store to pick it up. The pharmacist said we could pick it up through the drive-thru as COVID-19 testing should be done by then. We just spent way too long in this line, do you think we're going to do this again, no ma'am. Went back later to pick up the prescription and the cashier said my insurance was put to the side because they needed my prescription card. Now, I go to Walgreens for all my prescriptions (however, i was on vacation in Ocean City and there were no Walgreens in the area where we were staying, just a CVS), and I always use my insurance card, I've never had to use a prescription card, nor do I even have one. I told the cashier I don't have one just my Insurance card. The Cashier called to the Supervisor behind her and told her what was going on. The Supervisor asked me the same thing the Cashier did, I told the Supervisor the exact same thing I told the Cashier. At this point, I'm getting annoyed again, this is suppose to be a simple process. The Supervisor said I could call Walgreens and they could send the prescription information over. That would of took too long, my son was in pain from an ear infection and needed his medicine, and I for sure was not stepping out of line to make a call just to have to get back in a long line. I asked them what do I need to do to get my sons medicine? The cashier then said I could pay the full price of $149.94. My son's wellbeing always comes first, and I was beyond tired of CVS, so I told them I'll pay it. Both the Cashier and the Supervisor looked at me in shock and kept asking me "you're going to pay it?". After I agreed again to pay, then the Supervisor decided to look up a coupon for me, which knocked off $100. So I was grateful for that, and I did thank her. But never again will I return to this CVS when in Ocean City. You would think, with so many out-of-towners coming to Ocean City for vacation, they would be a little more considerate that everyone might not use CVS or have a Prescription card. read more

Good luck trying to speak with a pharmacist, their time is apparently more valuable than yours. This is a trash establishment with zero oversight. My entire family was supposed to get tested for COVID today. Apparently an employee called out so they now are incapable of instructing people how to test themselves (which is essentially an automated process). I come here every time on my trip and finally decided to go to another drug store. This CVS is always so busy, which is great for them, and they never seem to have what I need in stock. One time it was the shampoo, the other feminine products, which obviously was not a good thing. This is now my secondary drugstore this one has disappointed me too many times. I was visiting ocean city and had to go to the urgent care (highly recommend the one in west ocean city). They called in my prescriptions into this CVS. I arrived in about 15 minutes from them calling and to my surprise when I walked in they were working on them! The very friendly lady that waited on me said "honey we are working on it now. I'll expedite and it will be just a couple minutes." True to her word it was done! While waiting, every customer was treated the same! You know anyone who has common sense knows what a UNIT is and for those who don't know it's a form of an individual component of a larger or more complex whole. Ex: Bjs (ya know the whole sale club) when buying a unit your buying we'll say 3 or more of ONE ITEM. So buying a UNIT of Lysol wipes is buying 3-4 of the same product? Came here for the Minute Clinic. 5 hour wait. Total BS. They should advertise this as a 300 minute clinic. I could have driven to an ER an hour away, been seen, driven back to the hotel and been on the beach by the time I was seen there. Even though I didn't stick around, they were supposed to text 30 minutes before you were to be seen. Guess what? Never got a text. So if I had gone back to the hotel to wait, I would have never been seen. Absolutely horrible. CVS should be ashamed. read more

Used the Minute Clinic. In OC. Daughter had severe poison ivy. Had 50 minute wait but still great. Accepted our insurance and only paid copay. Prescription sent over to pharmacy side. No expensive Urgent care cost or ER. Highly recommend for non urgent visits. Even if you don't have insurance the visit is 99 to 129.00. read more

They get 1 Star cause 0 is not an option. I dropped my prescription off to be refilled. They called and said its ready. I told them I couldn't pick it up until next week! There response was no problem. I just left the store and they tell me I can't have it cause it expired yesterday. It's only good for 6 months. How am I supposed to know that. They should have to tell me that I needed to pick it up by a certain day. Rude and really did not seem to care one bit. read more

Pharmacy was easy quick and had no problem getting waited on and did not have to wait forever to get what I needed.

Went to the minute clinic yesterday and was very impressed with the service. The staff is very friendly, caring, and did a great job. Diagnosed my issue quickly, sent a prescription over to the pharmacy and I was back to the beach all in about a half hour. Much better option than waiting at urgent care or going to the ER for such a minor issue. The store itself is well stocked and clean but very busy. read more

I went to CVS to go to the minute clinic because my face was swelling up due to a toothache. There was a long wait so I talked to the pharmacist about my problem. She politely told me that the minute clinic does not deal with tooth issues but recommended a near by medical clinic. After going to the medical clinic I went back to CVS to fill a prescription. The pharmacist remembered me from earlier and asked how I made out. She was able to fill my prescription in under 5 minutes. I was very pleased with my experience! read more

CVS both locations in Ocean City Md have the best staff they greet you call you by name and help in every way. Store managers are wonderful the pharmacy is excellent they have so many customers yet they do everything for you like your the only one. Switched from Rite Aid the best decision I ever made I have no nice words for the staff at Rite aid not to mention they do not have the savings plans for products like CVS does I use the coupon machine get my rewards dollars always grab a cart because they have so many products so cheap you just can't pass it up. I realize Walgreens and others do also but CVS is your best option I seriously am impressed with the Pharm staff I plan to surprise them this summer with local gift cards for a nice lunch for all they do. He towed a disabled persons vehicle right in front of him and was yelling obscenities to the people in the parking lot. I have never witnessed such terrible customer service in my life. I was trying to discretely buy condoms with my girlfriend and the clerk checking us out winked at me, and said "those for her!?!?" He then proceeded to try and high five me. I was completely stunned and appalled by the lack of professionalism. The worst part was that I think the clerk may have been the manager. Very friendly and helpful staff I went here for an earache to look for ear drops I noticed the minute clinic I signed in to have my earache checked out come to find out I had a swimmers ear infection Dr Steven Donnelly was very thorough made me feel as comfortable as my own family doctor also the Pharmacy was very friendly and also accepted my Health insurance too Thank You CVS!!! read more
