Total self check out. No one to help you. Pharmacy only open minimal hours. And pharmacy closes at lunchtime. Who else in America gets an actual lunch HOUR anymore? CVS, which 30 years ago put a ton of mom and pops out of business saying they provided Convenience, Value and Service (CVS) is now a joke. Their prescriptions are more expensive than any other place. Their non-pharmacy items are more expensive than anywhere else. And now with total self check out there's no one to help you if you need something. Lately I've noticed some smaller, Privately owned pharmacies are opening up. My research is showing they will provide better service at reasonable prices for me so I'm done with CVS. Back to Mom and Pop drugstores !!!! read more

Great location, but a smaller size CVS than I'm used to. Not as many choices for things like nail polish and cosmetics, maybe because it's in a tourist area? The prices seemed higher than CVS's I'm used to, again, maybe because it's a tourist area and there aren't many options around. We were excited to satisfy a sweet tooth with clearance priced Easter candy, just wish some of the other items were priced more reasonably. read more

Gross outside, trash and gum on the filthy parking lot and sidewalk. Very cluttered inside and the associate seemed annoyed when we asked where to find something. Great cheap(er) shop for sunscreen and boogie boards, coolers, etc. just very chaotic inside trying to beat the crowds and maneuvering around the aisles and self checkout. HATE SELF CHECKOUT!! I shouldn't have to be checking myself out with one of the associates guarding the checkout area, so nobody steals anything. It's kind of stupid and frankly, they should be paying me a salary if I need to check myself out. SMH. Two stars for good sale prices. read more

Prescription prices are higher than elsewhere. Local staff is great though. Carepass loyalty program is worthwhile.

While I find the pharmacists to be very courteous and helpful, I am quite turned off by their filling my prescriptions when I don't request them to be refilled. I have asked them to stop doing this but was told " we have to, it is out of our hands". They have even called my Doctor's office to get permission to refill a prescription that I didn't want. How outrageous and unprofessional. Sadly, I will be leaving CVS and finding a new pharmacy that will refill prescriptions when I ask, not when their employers demand. read more

I want to say that originally I was going to give this location more stars UNTIL the mean old lady in the front was shouting at her employees while checking me out. I presume she is the manager as she had a sheet in her hand with employee names that I saw her crossing off as she shouted at them to take their breaks..NOW! They had a keychain of a crab that read "I'm a little crabby" which I believe belonged to her. By the time she finished checking me out and giving me my total, I didn't see the normal credit card swiper so I tried to hand her my card. She literally stared at me and said nothing. She couldn't have been a better example of bad customer service. Other than her, we stopped by this CVS multiple times while in OC to grab snacks and drinks. The store itself is fine. Located near my hotel in OC, MD. I had to get my son medicine for allergies and some Tylenol. While there I ended up getting a bunch of snacks for the hotel. Gave this 4 stars because the store was messy...probably a lot of food traffic. read more

This cvs had the most disgusting bathroom! I think it would be cleaner if I found a dumpster to pee behind... the sink was brown and moldy, there was no toilet paper because it was spread out across the bathroom floor... there were bikini sanitation protectors stuck across the walls... if I could give zero stars I would... absolutely terrible! read more

I love using yelp. I arrived yesterday and immediately that night I was feeling sick. I looked up pharmacy and found cvs. The reviews were not good so I was hesitant on going. I spend horrible night cause I felt sick. The very next morning I took ride to cvs. Immediately I knew I was going to find what I needed. Huge cvs. Staff was very pleasant and I found what I needed. We were visiting from out of town. My son ended up with swimmers ear. An prescription was called in to this pharmacy. I went to pick it up. The cost of rx was $179 with our Ins plan. Lousy Ins through Aetna. I checked with good rx and it stated my cost would be $44 and change. When it was presented to pharmacist. He extended a discount to $159, my cost. I didn't have time to dispute it, my kids ear hurt. Thanks for nothing. Not very helpful. Also funny CVS and Aetna are under same Corp. read more

The pharmacist ( grey haired, older man ) was extremely rude to my daughter. I had sand in my eye and couldn't find the eye drops section so she went to the pharmacy to ask for help. The pharmacist ignored her and when she finally said, 'Excuse me?' He ignored her some more. She said excuse me again and asked where the eye drops were he said, 'Can't you see I'm busy? They're next to the pharmacy!' Wow! I went over to him and asked him why he was rude to my daughter and he had several excuses but no apologies. Then proceeded to say a few not so nice things about my parenting. Right or wrong, you shouldn't treat customers like that, especially children. Dirty and slow. There were 20+ people in line with only TWO cashiers working. Unbelievable. Trash and dirt were strewn about the store.

On July 30, I was in town on vacation. I accidentally broke my sons vial of insulin. He is a type 1 diabetic. I showed up to the pharmacy as they were closing, I needed a new vial and my insurance wasn't allowing it because I just had it filled before we left for vacation. The two women who were there stayed for a half hour past closing time calling my insurance and having them override it so I wouldn't have to pay 300+ dollars. I am beyond grateful to these ladies who were so nice on a Saturday evening-when I'm sure they were ready to leave work. Thank you! read more

I came in from out of town to pick up a few things while I was on vacation. One of these things was an 18 pack of Scott tissue extra soft. It was on sale for $6 dollars and some change. *I looked on the sign for specifics in regards to having a membership or other specific qualifications and saw NONE*.Upon going up to the counter and paying for it, I looked at the receipt and notice that it had rang up as $12.79. I asked the cashier about there being a sign for it being on sale and she stated "that's only for customers with CVS Cards". I stated that I looked very carefully at the sign to see that there was nothing about it saying a CVS card and she replied "No, that's just how we do things around here". Extremely aggravated by this remark, she then stats that "You can get back in line and sign up for one". I respectfully decline. In short, the sale wasn't honor and is a prime example of false advertisement. read more

This CVS is great. It is centrally located right off Coastal Highway. They have extended hours during the summer/peak season, and carry all the necessities. Next time you forget your shampoo, toothbrush, or hair brush, this is the place to go. If you don't have a CVS card, they will gladly swipe their "house" card to ensure you get all the available discounts (sale prices and such). This is truly appreciated because not all CVS stores will do this for their customers. They require them to sign up before they check out - which when you are in a hurry or in this case on vacation - you'd rather just forego the discount. read more

I do not like to post any bad reviews however, I had the absolute worst trip here. My husband and I stopped in here last week on Wednesday August 23, 2017. I needed aloe for sun burn and and a couple other things. I took my items up to the register to be checked out. While she was scanning my items, I noticed another cashier getting nasty with a customer and laughing about it. First red flag. I then seen the aloe I was purchasing came up as over $10. I told my cashier they were on sale for a much lower price and it was on a red tag on the bottom shelf. She immediately told me no. Then I walked her over to where they were to show her the red tag with the lower price. She told me I was wrong and did not add any further details on why she said it wasn't on sale. I again pointed out the red tag and at that point she started laughing at me and making fun of me. I still was not getting an answer as to why it was not ringing up the price on the red sales tag. She just stood there laughing and making fun of me. She was looking at the other cashier (the one who was nasty and laughing at the other customer) and just laughing non stop at me. I got upset and was completely embarrassed and asked for a manager. This young boy came up and said the red tag was the per ounce price. I explained the behavior of the cashier and he just said it was probably a language barrier. That was it, nothing more. No apologies. I was very upset and very humiliated. He then said that this never happens and I pointed out about how nasty the other cashier was to that lady and how she was also making fun of her. He didn't know what to say. If this was a one time incident, then why did this happen to another customer.? I cannot get over how ignorant these workers were. There is no need to laugh and make fun of someone and you need a manager who can handle bad situations. I am literally appalled over this. As we walked out, the other customer who had a cashier get nasty with her and laugh at her was waiting by the coupon printer, to speak to the manager. Never again will I step in that store. I came in for a couple things and left feeling completely embarrassed. The fact that CVS allows this behavior is sick! Being mean is not ok. Laughing and making fun of customers is just sick. I would encourage anyone thinking of going into this store, to go somewhere else. This was not an isolated incident! read more
