    this month's service excellence hero
    Tony J.

Harris Teeter is a North Carolina-based supermarket chain with over 250 stores in eight states including Delaware. It is known for its wide selection of groceries, including fresh produce, meats, seafood, dairy, baked goods, and prepared foods. Harris Teeter also offers a variety of other services, such as a full-service pharmacy, floral department, and wine and beer shop. It is higher end compared to Giant, A&P or Shoprite. When I visit Catch 54 for Sunday happy hour lunch with my friends I sometimes stop here on my way home. I have been here about ten times, therefore, I joined their loyalty program. I usually stop here for seltzers, snacks or sushi. Their beef tenderloin was one of the best that I purchased recently. I will continue to return here.

Fresh produce and a lobster roll from the deli! Harris Teeter in Selbyville is a one-stop shop for us!

Great produce, things I typically don't see. They are great with helping you find products and if they can't, they will find out who can.

They have just about everything and a nice mix of specialty items. Their meats and fish are first class. Not Whole Foods but close

All the good brands and fresh produce. Wish it were in OC, but was happy to go here and avoid northern OC Food Lion.

We started with a tasting board and chose three cheeses and three meats. It comes with a ton of additional accoutrements. It's a little expensive but worth it to try some fantastic cheese. I had the Cacio e pepe with scallops that was on special. I didn't love the pasta, the sauce was bland despite the peppery flavor but the scallops were well cooked and definitely the best part of the dish. For dessert we did a giant doughnut ice cream sandwich which was the star of the show. Paired with an espresso martini and I was extremely happy to finish off dinner! The service was great, food came out quickly.

It's a refreshing change from the typical boardwalk dining experience. The food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the perfectly seared scallops, rich and flavorful oysters Rockefeller, and a well-prepared steak that was cooked exactly as ordered. The cocktail program was equally impressive, both the martini and Old Fashioned were expertly crafted. As a bourbon and whiskey enthusiast, I particularly appreciated the extensive selection available here. It was nice to find quality whiskey options beyond the sweet, fruity summer cocktails that dominate many Ocean City menus. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a place we'll return to on future trips.
