I tried the 3 meet plate as I wanted to get a variety to try. They were already out of burnt ends, they tell me they're great. Ribs, very good, tender with good flavor. It's a dry rub but you can add hot or reg bbq sauce. I preferred the flavor of the regular. The hot was not very hot but I liked the regular flavor better. In regards to instructions being followed, this restaurant gets an A++++! Now let's get to my meal... I ordered the C4: BB & SAEU (steak and shrimp). This particular combo comes with white rice and mixed veggies. You can mix and match for a small additional fee (i.e. Ramen noodles and fried rice, etc...please refer to their menu for different combo options and prices). I opted for just steak & shrimp with ONLY fresh veggies and my sauces on the side. Q-One did oblige with all of that and let me try out all 4 sauces (on the side, btw, just as I requested), that they offer which are: Q-One Tepanyaki sauce Bulgogi sauce Srichacha Chili Paste The mixed veggies concluded of stir fried sliced green cabbage. The combo itself was flavorful even prior to the dressing. The stir fried cabbage was a bit oily for my taste, but hey, it's Korean, right?! The steak and shrimp were both cooked perfectly. Just smaller portions than what I was expecting. I only received 5 total shrimp and the steak was sliced and diced making it very small and not too much of it either; sadly. The entree was mostly oiled down cabbage minus a whole lot of meat (though it looks like a lot at first as they pack it in all on top). Stir it all around and see for yourself what you end up with. I definitely do plan on eating here again, just not quite sure when. Teriyaki Grill is a lot healthier and gives bigger meat portions. However, when I think of the catastrophe that I received at Cupbop, there's just no way that I would not recommend Q One to anyone and everyone! Side note: All the sauces are delicious! The restaurant was about a third full when I arrived, with one large party in the center. Their children were tearing around the restaurant, and had invented a game that involved throwing things into an unused grill. It looked quite fun, to be fair, and involved a lot of screaming and running, but it was rather distracting to a tired ski bum in need of a more relaxing meal. The food ordering system is via a tablet, where you pick what you want and - if n my experience - there's a 75% chance that the right item gets delivered to you. Sometimes your Kalbi will be pork belly, and to be honest you'll be glad it was because the kalbi itself is super tough. Similarly the beef tongue, which gave my jaw a workout it won't forget in a hurry. My tofu and kimchi soup contained a bonus unpeeled shrimp, which I found languishing at the bottom. Fortunately it was fully cooked. Rice paper isn't a thing here, but the rice dishes from the menu turn up cold anyway so it's almost the same. I hate to say this too, but one of the biggest issues I encountered was my server's lack of English, which actually made questioning the above shrimp incident - or indeed querying menu items - impossible. I tried, but he thought I wanted to order another bowl of the soup. Genuinely not hating in that regard, learning languages is tough plus I accept that English is not the native language of Korea and it's not like I speak any Korean, but it was rather frustrating at the time. Well... the brisket could've been way worse, the bulgogi was at least average, the pork belly was actually pretty good, and (until I found the errant shrimp) the tofu and kimchi soup was very enjoyable.
