She brewed a very fresh batch of decaff and expertly made me my drink. It was delicious and exactly what I needed on that cold afternoon. I'm traveling and Giada gave me suggestions of nice places to visit that are not in Manhattan. She also knew the bus I was looking for next and let me know when I needed to step back out into the cold. The location is pretty welcoming, with seating both inside and outside of the shop. They've got a pretty wide selection of water ice flavors, but mango and cherry have been my two favorites. The staff has been incredibly nice, and I've enjoyed just about every visit I've had to this location. When you compare Rita's to its local competitors (for the most part, that would be Ralph's Italian Ices which has locations throughout Staten Island) Rita's ices has a lot more flavor while still having the same quality of the ice itself.
