Went to get few slices for lunch. The margarita pizza looked amazing on display. Regular and margarita both slices were delicious. Didn't have to wait to get the order, easy in and out.

This spot is a hidden gem in Dumont! I did a pickup order and it was ready in 15 minutes. Quality: I ordered fettuccini Alfredo and two slices of spinach pizza. The fettuccini was creamy and the portion was good! The pizza slices were great as well. They also give complimentary bread. Price: I paid $21 which was fair considering the portions and the quality. Overall, I loved the food and will return soon. Thank you :)

Stopped by this place for a quick meal (takeout). Ended up ordering a meatball parmigiana hero. They're now charging two different prices (cash versus credit) and I opted to pay cash for the lower price. After the order was completed in an uninspiring amount of time, the girl (yes, girl as she was young and not very knowledgeable) unceremoniously placed a bag on the counter and announced the price (I had already confirmed my form of payment). Something struck me as odd since it was a round figure and, after a quick computation, I found I was overcharged. Upon noticing the girl of their mistake and that the tax was rounded up to the next dime, she only said "yeah" with a grimace on her face. I told her not to do it again. After walking out the door, I realized I had also been shorted $6 since I gave her exact change plus $10. Having realized this, I ran back in, placed the four dollars on the counter and demanded the $10 bill I should've received. The girl got it from the register. At that point I knew I needed to talk to the owner. Sadly, after explaining to "Pete" what had just transpired, I got a blank look (aka deer in headlights) like he didn't comprehend what I told him. And, not even an apology! Funny thing, the young guy who wandered in after me from the volunteer fire house a few doors down was ultimately charged $10 for three slices of pizza (one was Sicilian and the other two were regular with toppings) and a bottle of Sprite. This was clearly discounted a fair amount from regular prices. I'm not expecting a discount, but don't rip me off to give away freebies to your regulars...especially when I'm paying cash! Will be avoiding this place for the foreseeable future and suggest you do too!!!

We ordered a lasagna and shrimp parmigiana and they were extremely salty. Way too expensive for how bad the food was.

I felt a little like Ray Liotta in "Goodfellas". The service was excellent and our waiter rattled off an extensive list of daily specials and they all sounded wonderful. We settled on burrata and a fried vegetable appetizer. The burrata was good but the fried thing was even better. I wish I could remember what it was because it was so good. I guess that's what I get for writing my reviews 2 months later. It was some kind of vegetable stuffed with cheese, battered and fried. It wasn't too oily and all the flavors and textures went well together. For our entrees we went with linguini in clam sauce and cavatelli, broccoli rabe, & sausage. The linguini was a solid plate of pasta. Linguini, clams, sauce. It tasted exactly how you expect it would and the pasta was cooked well. The cavatelli was much more interesting to me. The different textures and flavors really made it a joy to eat. The pasta was al dente while some of the sausage had some crispy bits to it. And the broccoli rabe kind of made me feeling like I was eating somewhat healthy The ambiance was nice if not a little dated. Not bad though, it was cozy. I'd come back, but not too often. It's pricey.

The dining area is one room adorned with attractive art decor and a glass wall overlooking the main road. The Caesar salad was a light, yet satisfying starter. The romaine lettuce, croutons and house made dressing blended the perfect trio! If you are looking for an appetizer with a touch of sweet and spice, the sausage & broccoli rabe will do the trick. The protein and vegetable blended well together with some diced tomatoes thrown on top. As always, I can never visit any Italian establishment without trying the Chicken Parmesan. For the most part, it did not disappoint. My sole critique is the excess amount of moisture beneath the linguini. I also used any extra mozzarella cheese as a topping for the pasta and table bread. Named after its restaurant, the chicken ciao bella was breaded and pan fried. The lemon butter sauce definitely added flavor to the cutlets and the side vegetables were just as "bella" as the main entree. The coffee flavored dessert was paradise. The taste as so rich and pure in flavor, you definitely didn't need coffee either this final course. I highly recommend this location if you want a decent meal at reasonable price. We started off with a salad, followed by a short rib pizza for my wife and a Mafalda pasta dish for myself. Can't really complain about either of the dishes or the salad. They were really very good. I started it off with a bloody mary while my wife had a glass of Nebiollo. Good bloody mary by the way. Today we came here at early afternoon, so we're thinking we may need to come here at night sometime to see what it's like. Once again my wife picked a good one. We started their version of a Caesar salad, which was very good. My wife craves pizza, so she went for the Short Rib pie, while I went with the Malfade pasta... Mafalde (a la carbonara, guanciale, egg yolk, pecorino & black pepper)... a dish I would order again and again. Trouble was the pizza looked so good... I just had to have a 'bite' and we ended up sharing both meals. We finished by sharing a Gelato for dessert, which was fantastic. There was a 'name' for it, but I'll be damned if I can remember it or find out what it's called online. Regardless... it goes without saying... we'll be back!

Chicken Francese: Two fairly sized tender, juicy chicken cutlets were smothered in Francese sauce. The sauce paired well with the basmati rice and even the table bread (not pictured). I enjoyed the sauce so much I requested an extra cup on the side so there was more to blend with the entrée. The chef made a wise decision to separate the grain from the francese sauce because that would given the rice a mushy texture. Linda's Chocolate Lava Cake: This decadent dessert was truly a masterpiece. It included a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The round chocolate cake was spongy on the outside while warm and moist on the inside. The best part was the warm chocolate pudding filling in the center. It is a win-win if you have the cake myself or if you combine with the ice cream or whipped cream. The whipped topping tastes above and beyond because it was freshly made in house. In addition to being a great meal, the service was on point. Server Kelly and the other staff were very attentive. They continually checked up on us and made sure we were taken care of. It shows the servers commute well and work together as a great team. I was even impressed with the friendliness of the hosts stationed near the door.
