Chinese style chicken with fried rice
    Michael R.

Food was absolutely delicious. Stumbled upon this place while waiting for my car to be fixed in the area. Asked the owner what he recommended and he suggested this plate. The chicken was crispy and juicy and tasted amazing and the fried rice was made perfectly. The service was fast and friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Will definitely be back.

Love this new spot located in pembroke pines. And its halal! Halal just means the meat was prayed on before it was killed similar to kosher. So this place is great for any one of any culture and background. Its a family owned restaurant. Inside is nicely layed out and open space. When you walk in they have a huge screen with the current menu plus additional menus on the counter. Some if the items we've tried from there are chow mein (Caribbean version of lo mein), fry rice, phillycheese steak sandiwch and spicy chicken sub. Also there fresh cooked chicken. That chicken is so juicy in every piece and not to salty so any age person it would be good for, they also have a special chicken sauce that adds the perfect kick if you need more. The chicken goes perfect with the chow mein or fry rice and makes it a great option even to feed your family, kids will love it as well. The subs are HUGE and delicious it is all freshly made and each ingredient is well thought out to each sandwich. Just know, big juicy sandwiches and freshly made hit the spot. The prices are affordable, you get big portions and they have many side items range for about 2$. There is something for everyone here to try. Great family, great spot, I highly recommend to give it a try!

This is a hidden gem in Pembroke Pines. This place is small and intimate but their food is prepared with big flavor! Ive always ordered my food to go. AmericanThe service is great, the staff is friendly and they don't take long to prepare your food. I've been here a few times and they have proven consistency with my orders. I ordered their Philly cheesesteak lunch special with fries well done. I personally am not a fan of their ranch dressing (I love to dip my fries in ranch) and their fries are just ok to me. But their Philly cheesesteak Sandwiches are always on point

Since the Grand Opening we have visited quite a few times and have not been let down once. The attention to detail, the courteous staff and the overall ambiance allows you to have a truly enjoyable time. We've gone as a large party and have been attended to promptly and always with a warm and friendly smile. The food is on another level, we've had: the spicy chicken sandwich, the Philly cheesesteak, the Manhattan burger, the Big Bill burger, the Mexicana Burger, the island shrimp and the Fish Po'Boy (remember we've visited in large family groups making it possible to sample so much). The food has been phenomenal, and very reasonably priced. The spicy chicken sandwich comes with a large portion of deliciously seasoned chicken with all the toppings, it's certainly a worth trying for a chicken lover. The Philly Cheesesteak is made with rib eye meat and that makes all the difference, it's so flavorful and again offers a large portion. The shrimp and fish are also very delicious, fried to perfection, and the sauces are out of this world, this is a must try!! Now, for the burgers, THIS IS THE PLACE!! The Big Bill offers two beef patties with a yummy secret sauce that enhances your palette. I've also tried the Mexicana, which was very good, it came with deep fried jalapeños (big fan of jalapeños) and a very nice spicy but subtle sauce. Now, for my absolute favorite, the Manhattan burger, this is what dreams are made of, the only way I can describe it, also a must try!! I highly recommend trying Uncle Bill's Cafe, you won't be disappointed!

Friendly service, varied menu and large portions. Delicious food with unique items for sale. We tried the spicy chicken sub (as recommended by others and I agree!), Caribana burger (delicious), and goat curry (very tasty)! Will come again when in the area!

Uncle Bill's is our go to place whenever we want burgers or a Philly! From the manhattan burger to Mexican burger to wings, every time we dine in or order out the food is impeccable. Halal places are difficult to find in south Florida and this is the best and our favorite place to go! The owners and staff are very kind and respectful and always greet us with a smile. I recommend this place to anyone looking for good burgers and wings!

I love ordering from here. The wings are my favorite. I got the Buffalo style wings and they were amazing! I definitely plan to try their fried rice amongst other items on their menu. It's all halal too. So, if you have any friends that can only eat meat if it's Halal this is it! I promise you won't regret it. You'll definitely want to come back.

I saw hookah in the garden area and its mention that the brunch is great. I came in for the first time on a week evening for a late dinner. When we sat we noticed that the menu was small and had no prices . Yikes ! Anywho we decided to stay. For drinks we had the lychee dragonfruit margarita 10/10 and Hennessy rum punch 10/10 but they took forever to arrive to the table. For starters we had the lobster fritters which I was imagining something completely different. It was not terrible but I didn't enjoy it. For dinner I had the lobster and shrimp Alfredo pasta which was so flavorful. We also had the oxtail with white rice and plantain which the oxtail was tender and flavorful. We came across Kekoon Restaurant & Lounge in Davie, FL and made reservations, which I highly recommend. The restaurant itself is very nice, with plenty of free parking, which is always a plus. Before we even walked in, we could hear the music from outside and already knew the vibes were going to be on point. Once inside, we were greeted by the hostess and, after a short wait, taken to our table and introduced to our waitress for the night. Our waitress, Ginger, was absolutely beautiful and took great care of us throughout the evening shoutout to her for the excellent service. Since it's a restaurant and lounge, we ordered drinks and appetizers for the table. The oxtail egg rolls were our favorite definitely a must-try. The coconut bang bang shrimp wasn't the best; it was falling apart. The salmon bombs were just okay, and the truffle fries weren't really truffling, if you know what I mean. The drinks were good, but the presentation and taste weren't consistent. We ordered two rounds. I had the Watermelon Pomegranate Cosmopolitan, and my sister ordered the blueberry Don Julio mint mojito and the dragonfruit margarita. One thing to note: there are no prices on the menu, so be prepared to spend money. Drinks were around $20, and a shot was $15, which felt a bit steep considering the location isn't beachfront. Around 11:30 p.m. midnight, a young lady came around offering hookah service. We ordered the blueberry mint hookah for $90, but unfortunately it started getting harsh after about 15 minutes. A quick restroom note: only one of the two toilets was working, and it had run out of toilet paper, which was disappointing especially since the place wasn't even packed. Overall, we had a decent time. The vibes, music, and service (especially Ginger) were highlights, but there are definitely some areas that could use improvement for the price point.

As the place was empty and two women working were talking at the bar I walked in and went to sit. One of the women asked if I was with the group and then told me I needed to wait to be seated. It was awkward. It was a bit rude. Most times it's not what you say, but how you say it. Maybe it's just me, but the waitress immediately informed me that three items weren't available, including biscuits and cornbread of some sort. As a first-timer, it was weird. Fortunately, everything got better from there. My first meal, regardless of time, needs to be breakfast-y. As I perused the weekday brunch menu via QR code (what if you don't have a phone?) I ordered a coffee and water. The water came quickly, but the coffee took its time. I ordered the Wafflette (don't you want to try things you can't get other places?) It came as pictured and was good. The syrup was quite watery and left a lot to be desired, but I really didn't need it. The star of this dish is the bacon. I could have bathed in this bacon. It was thick and chewy, such a nice compliment. I don't know if there are bar stools available and whether they set up center aisle seating when it's more crowded, but the restaurant appeared clean and well-kept. There were no rounds available when I went, so I don't know how they accommodate groups of 10+, I sat along the banquette that could accommodate two. I am very interested in returning to try the ox tails, which are available in two (or was it three) dishes on the menu. I look forward to revising my review then.

That matters because a lot of places start strong when they first open and then quality slowly drops over time. Consistency is everything. Walking in, the place itself is very unassuming--simple, clean, and not trying too hard. To me, that's actually a good sign. I'd rather a restaurant put its energy into the food instead of relying on flashy decor to draw people in. My first thought was: they let the food speak for itself, and I respect that. The ladies working there were very friendly and welcoming. There were already people inside when I arrived, and while I waited, even more people kept coming in. Another great sign--if people aren't being pulled in by appearances, they're definitely coming back for the food. I ordered the large jerk chicken with rice and peas, sweet plantains, vegetables, and jerk sauce on the side. I also ordered two spicy Jamaican patties. I'm not exaggerating when I say I took two bites and immediately came to write this review. The chicken is juicy and tastes like it was freshly cooked. The rice and peas are soft and fresh. The vegetables were crisp, the plantains were perfectly sweet, and the jerk sauce was delicious with a nice kick to it. Nothing tasted like a mass-produced commercial kitchen meal. I don't have a Jamaican aunty, but this tasted like the kind of food I'd expect from showing up to family dinner at a relative's house--homemade, comforting, and made with care. The portions were generous too. I haven't tried the patties yet because I'm saving those for my husband, but they're large, flaky, and still holding their warmth really well. I came here because of Yelp reviews, so I wanted to do my part and keep spreading the word. Easy 10/10 -- I'd absolutely come back again.
