We came for a family member's birthday, and she made sure my daughter who was 10 y/o was able to go which she was. It was a little distance from S. Austin to this location and when you pull in it is a little sketchy from the outside. You will not be disappointed once you go in. She reserved the smash room and prior to the room you are fitted for the outfits to smash in. You wear them over your clothes so we were looking like construction workers. When we got in the room they asked if we had any music request and were able to Bluetooth it. They go over the rules and you will get I believe 3 warnings and I will say my daughter got a warning for dropping the mallet. They have everything you need to smash and you are able to bring in items also. The people who reserved it after us brought in a bunch due to bulk pick up just happening. Something to think about if you choose to go. I intended to go back with just my daughter and do the paint room and other things they had but we haven't made it back since. On 1/29, my best friend and I booked a rage room to celebrate her birthday and release some stress. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being more stressful than cathartic. The reservation was made earlier in the week. We arrived at 12:20 PM, 10 minutes before our scheduled time, and found the door locked with no staff present. No signage, no response. When my friend called the listed phone number, a man answered and said he was stuck on the south side of San Marcos due to an accident and would arrive in 15 minutes. He showed up 30 minutes later. When he arrived, he brought an elderly woman and two dogs. One of the dogs immediately jumped out of the car and approached us in a parking lot that was visibly covered in broken glass. This felt unsafe and irresponsible, especially for the animals. He let us inside and offered "free upgrades" to make up for the delay. That goodwill disappeared quickly once we saw the condition of the facility. The interior looked nothing like the photos or walkthrough shown on their website. The space was run-down, messy, and felt genuinely unsafe--more abandoned than operational. Upstairs, we were shown lockers and dirty, visibly used coveralls that we were expected to wear over our clothes. The rage room itself was already filled with debris and leftover broken items from previous groups--far beyond what would be expected or safe. It was clear the room had not been cleaned or reset. He then told us he planned to clean the room while we were outside doing our "upgraded activity," which turned out to be smashing printers because he did not want to carry them upstairs himself. We asked what the plan would have been if he had arrived on time. Rather than answering directly, he became defensive and said he expected us to be "more understanding." At that point, it was clear there was no preparation or plan in place. We decided we were not comfortable continuing and requested a refund. He appeared relieved by this decision. As we were leaving, the elderly woman followed us outside and attempted to show us an email claiming they had notified us earlier that they would be late. She said she could not call because they did not have our phone number. If your booking system does not collect phone numbers, that is a flaw in your process--not the customer's responsibility. I strongly recommend avoiding this business. The concept has potential, but the execution, cleanliness, safety standards, and professionalism were severely lacking. I would be genuinely concerned about someone getting hurt--person or animal--if conditions remain this way. read more

Took my son here for his 12th birthday yesterday. There were 4 of us total, with a reservation at 3:30pm. We booked the 3 event package (rage room, splatter paint, mob escape room). We got there a few minutes early and checked in. We were told to hang out in the waiting area and they would get us for our event shortly. Time passed by and finally, 30 minutes later, we were taken to our first event - the escape room. I was a bit frustrated at this point as our reservation was for 3:30pm, and we had dinner plans for our sons birthday. So we were on a "schedule". Anyways, the escape room was fun and challenging. The boys definitely had a blast. Our host was absolutely phenomenal as well (I don't remember his name). After the escape room, we had to wait about 20-30 minutes for our next event (the pain splatter room). We were each given a small canvas and 4 small bottles of paint. I will say this was rather fun. The downside...the floor in the room can be slippery, and the soles of your shoes will be extremely sticky after if you don't use shoe covers. We were given 25 minutes in the room, and were done in probably 10. The amount of paint you get is minimal, and for sure won't last the entire time. We were done before the bubble machine started. We did have fun for sure, just wish we had more paint to play with. Our last event was the rage room. We had to wait a good 30 minutes after the paint to be able to start the rage room. My husband and I opted out of the rage room and gave the boys our breakables. They only had bottles for them to break, so they gave them a lap top to break as well. We had added on a TV, and they didn't have a large TV, so they gave them a smaller TV and a printer to break. I will say the boys had an absolute blast. They tore up everything in that room. Was fun to watch them. I DO suggest sturdy shoes for this even, boots would even be better. Glass will bet stuck in the soles, so you want to make sure you have good shoes on. Mind you, our reservation was originally for 3:30pm and we were to be out of there by 5:30pm (per the reservation confirmation email). Needless to say, we didn't leave there till 7pm. Unfortunately, we weren't able to make our dinner reservation for our sons birthday. However, the boys did have fun. I'm only giving a 3 because of the delay. And, for the minimal paint you get for the paint room (especially for 25 minutes) I feel like there was so much chaos and possibly over booked events which led to the 1.5 hour delay. My family of 3 were in town for a few days, and were looking for something fun to do with our 11yo. We did both escape rooms and a rage room. The rage room was pretty fun! We loved smashing things and playing baseball with bottles! It was soooo hot in there, though. We were in jumpsuits and all sorts of safety equipment, and there was no air movement. Now on to the escape rooms... both would have been really cool, but there were multiple things broken in each room!! So many things need maintenance! The targets don't drop as they are supposed to. The sound doesn't work in the demolition room. One of the lights that are crucial wasn't even plugged in. And our "hints" were just the one worker coming in and doing it for us. Or to tell us that what we are working on is broken. Both rooms just need a lot of upkeep. They are very cool ideas and setups, but not if it's all broken. Lastly, there was only one employee working. We were the only people there, so that could have been fine. Except that we were asked to wait while she handled a phone booking for about 10 minutes. **I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING THE VIP PACKAGE. NOTHING IS VIP ABOUT IT. ** First off, let me start by saying I paid almost $500 for me and my boyfriend for his birthday. It was NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. I do not recommend coming to this location at all. When we first arrived at the facility we checked in at the front desk for the VIP Package @6PM. It was empty and just us and the staff on a Friday night. The girl face showed she didn't not care. She didn't know which activity to do first, she asked several other employees and they were confused too. They finally decide on Axe Throwing. A guy came in and demonstrated how to throw the axe, tips and safety. Afterward, he left and I was kinda confused. I assumed we would have a host (somewhat like Chuck E Cheese ) and they would take "Professional photos" of us as we enjoyed this $500 package. The axes were very dull but the new ones (only 2) worked like a charmed, and you had to manually play the game on the computer scene. We finished and waited area for someone to come direct us to the next activity. We decide to walked back to the lobby. As we did, it was 3 employees (GM, 2 front desk girls) enjoying their food and giggling. I asked, what's the next activity? The front desk girl looked at us and kept grabbing more bites to eat. We are standing there and my boyfriend texts me "Let's leave." I'm just like hmmm, give it time. I did not know how this worked from my first time. This was our first time at a Smash Room and I was ready to crazy, I was ready to smash some furniture, use the sand bombs/orbee bombs that came with the VIP Package. We were directed to the smash room safety area to get dressed for safety. They did have different suit sizes and PPE equipment. It was heavily sprayed with Lysol Spray. We stepped into the room and it's a semi small room. It was a tiny workbench and 4 crates of glass bottles and 1 dell computer monitor to break. LOL When I asked the lady about the furniture, she said it's whatever they had and opened a small room, I followed her thinking this was the actually Rage Room already. LOL It wasn't and I said "OH." It was empty anyways, so I decide on getting a crowbar. She set the timer and left. We waited again. I made a note on my phone of everything that went wrong. I'm thinking this is like one of those TikTok horror stories and we are Starring in it! The guy comes upstairs to check on us. I said, we are ready for the next activity and he was ready to get us set up with the painting room. I LOVED his attentiveness. I asked him, this was the VIP package and we didn't get a lot of stuff. His eyes got wide, He said y'all got the VIP package?" Like he didn't know that, I was like yeah we got the VIP package for the 6PM appointment. He let the others know we purchase the VIP package. ‍ As we got dressed, someone came upstairs and advice we need to do the Escape Room first due to the scheduling with someone else wanting to do it. We got undressed and headed to the Escape Room. Honestly, this Escape Room was the new demo one and it was a solid 3.75/5 for me!! It was very fun and challenging. I won't spoiled this area for anyone but the Escape Room was a MUST DO!! We left the Escape Room, they finally (after 2.5 hrs being there) gave us a "VIP PASS NECKLACE" oooooh. Now we can take advantage of the drink passes! I was highly annoyed at this last minute attempt to cover their tracks and make it seem VIP when everything screamed it wasn't. This was honestly an insult. We went to the Painting room area where everything is already painted. The guy informed us, he told them that we were VIP and because they forgot the sand/orbees bomb they decided to give us TWO paint guns, since the VIP package only included 1. LMFAOOOO The VIP Package also says we get EXTRA paint, LARGE canvas but hey, giving the standard 4 paints and a small canvas is okay for VIP pricing, right? They make up for it with a Pump it water gun with water down paint in it. Don't forget the guy finally has the camera to take our "Professional Photos." It was okay for about 5-10 mins, It was poor air circulation in the room. When the "foam machine" came on it made the room unbearable to breathe in. We left and went to the lobby. We did the zombie shooting gallery with a gun that shoots Orbees! It was enjoyable when the area worked, the GM took some photos for us. As we finished, I waited to see if they were going to offer the "Uncharted T shirt" with the package. THEY DIDNT!!! read more

Definitely not what we expected! First of all, horrible customer service, the guy was greeting us didn't even say or welcome and , he just said we can't get add-ons since we were late (we were late because there are no signs and it's almost impossible to find the place). All the gear for the rage room is dirty and gross , we asked for wipes and the guy kept insisting it's all sanitized- absolutely disgusting. Rage room is too small for even one person and super dangerous, smashing glass can easily bounce back. Also all they're giving you is a few plates and bottles, you can just do a rage room in your backyard. Overall place is dirty and smells bad, definitely don't recommend it. read more

This place is a disaster, and I cannot stress enough that this place is NOT for kids' parties. It was so incredibly disorganized from start to finish. Also the AC barely cooled down the place, everyone was sweating. The front desk was telling guests they didn't know who the birthday girl was (despite me telling them the birthday girl's name when we arrived and watching her write it down), they gave 3 gel guns for 6 kids to share (and even those kept breaking, and there was no one to help), there was 1 bathroom upstairs for all the kids to clean themselves up with in a dirty sink in the back room after the paint room (which it course had no wipes or paper towels, though an employee did hand them a stained and dirty-looking rag), the bathroom downstairs was clogged, and for the grand finale they forgot to put crucial elements in the escape room LIKE KEYS which made it take way longer than it should have (and was NOT kid-friendly, the kids kept getting yelled at and told not to touch/yank/pull on stuff.... which is kind of the point of an escape room.) Speaking of yelling.... Our "host" was repeatedly yelling at a group of 10 year olds and telling them to be quiet. In a space that's supposed to allow them to have fun and be kids. It was to the point that both another employee and one of our guests' fathers had to take him aside and tell him that screaming at our kids was unacceptable and making everyone uncomfortable. Oh, and our host also told the kids not to watch the people in the rage room from the viewing window. I'm pretty sure that's the point of a viewing window. Clearly hosting children's' birthday parties is not the job for you if you can't handle working with kids without screaming at them repeatedly. If you don't want kids to be kids and not have to use 6-inch voices, perhaps don't let kids have parties there. Or set an age limit on parties. Figure it out. I'm so incredibly embarrassed that we chose to waste money throwing a child's birthday party there. The other parents were all pretty horrified about everything, too. I'm sure it would be fun for drunk adults and teenagers, but I can't stress enough how terrible and horribly organized this place was for a kid's party. Never again. Wanted to add: Before the owner tries blaming it on children and "reviewing footage", let me say that the staff member began yelling at kids way before they entered the Escape Room. It began while shooting zombies, their very first activity. And again, it was bad enough that another staff member said to our Host: "Dude, you don't have to yell at kids" to him in the hallway, before the Escape Room even began. :) read more

Went here solo just to find something to do after a stressful week at work. I got the Pick 3 package: axe throwing, 20 minute rage room, and jelly-ball. I never knew axe throwing was so difficult as the axe would always ricochet off the board, but I did manage to get 1 bullseye out of maybe 100 throws. That session was about 15-20 minutes long and it gets a little tiring especially if you're the only one throwing. There's several different game modes (zombie, target practice, duck hunting, etc.) Now, the rage room? Phew! STRESS RELIEVER! Of course you have a helmet, jumpsuit, gloves, and boots (if you want). I opted for a flat screen TV because the box of stuff they give you wouldn't be enough: glass bottles, tile, coffee mugs. You will absolutely work up a sweat within a few minutes. The TV took forever to smash completely so I threw bottles. Watching everything shatter was liberating. You can use a crowbar, sledgehammer, or mini baseball bat. Jelly-ball was fun but definitely more for kids. Overall, I had a great time and I was so much calmer when I left. read more

This was a pretty fun outing, our first since January. They have a smash room where you gear up and break things, and an axe throwing area. We did the axe throwing for 30 minutes and then the smash room. The axe room is pretty warm but they moved a fan, water was free too. For the smash room you have to fully gear up, coveralls hard hat, glasses, visor so you work up a sweat. But a/c was more noticeable there. They gave us 4 crates of fragiles, mostly dishes and such and you can buy bigger stuff extra. But just expect small items for the basic cost. Too many vhs tapes which weren't all that fun, but it was something new and you do work up a sweat for sure. I would recommend it for an outing if you hadn't done it before. Just keep in mind the breakables are rather what they have on hand and not anything specific or very large. But the people working were very nice and We had fun read more

This was a surprise for my boyfriend for our anniversary. I was super excited about trying something different. Who doesn't want to smash things?!? We signed up for splatter paint and smash room package ($145.00 for both). When we arrived we were greeted by a sweet girl (I don't remember her name) who helped us get started with signing waivers and going over some of the basic instructions. She also informed us that she was the only one there and was trying to take care of 6 different groups, including us. This was a Saturday, you'd think there would be more staff? This review has absolutely nothing to do with the girl working there. It's not her fault she was forced to do everything by herself. We started with the splatter paint - not at all what we were expecting. There were no clean canvases available. We took two that had the least amount of paint on them. The room itself is pretty cool, we were told everything was pretty much fair game to paint, however everything is covered in paint so there wasn't anywhere we could really use other than the canvases. We were also only given like 4 small things of paint that didn't last long between the two of us. The paint guns didn't work. The paint is actually a slimy, glow in the dark, water-based paint that didn't spread at all. It was basically 30 minutes of finger slime painting. The smash room wasn't all that great either. We were given a tub of beer bottles, wine bottles, old phones and picture frames and only 15 minutes to smash them. I did feel like the room was a bit small to really go after it, definitely not at all what I was expecting and what was advertised. For each room they have a speaker you can play your own music on - great concept, but it took forever to get connected to the one in the paint room and the others we tried to use for the smash weren't charged, so I just played it off my phone. It's weird that they don't have music already set up for you. They claim it's because of copyright laws, yet they have music playing in the main lobby/lounge area? Overall - it was a disorganized mess. The lounge area or bar - basically a table and a small fridge with beer and drinks in it, no one was around to serve us. Really fun and nicest guys working the front desk. Nice facility. Husband was sad to they only had beer bottles to break. He was looking forward to breaking things like dishes or other "not trash" items as he put it. However he had a great time and we enjoyed the experience. read more

This is our second rage room we have tried in the Austin area. This one was a big disappointment compared to the first location in North Austin. The room is too small for the group sizes you allow making it not as fun to go crazy with the danger of hurting your friends who are with you. Also, the items you had to use were completely gross and unsanitary. Used beer bottles with limes and remaining beer in them was pretty nasty. Pretty low class for a high price establishment. We will not be recommending it to friends. read more

This was a fun and unique birthday party for my 12 year old. The option to buy more things if desired was great because it is hard to gauge how much they'll want to do without ever having been there before. We bought an extra box for $20 and a large screen tv for an additional $20. My husband was ridiculously excited to bash that tv. It was the one thing they all commented on the next day. "Steve" the dummy in the corner was a great touch - something to bash that does not cost additional dollars. The choice to use a sledgehammer, mallet, bat, golf club, bowling pin, pot or pan made it silly and more exciting - "look I'm Rapunzel" hahaha. Suggestions: 1 - Have video available for folks to buy. There are cameras in the rooms so this would be a great money maker - after dropping close to $250 what's another $10 to watch it over and over again - we got to do that, but only because I dropped out to film it. 2 - Signage, signage, signage. Despite sending a map, it was still super hard to find and we stressed out trying to find it. It is also kind of creepy to drive way in to the back of a storagey-looking area when you are not sure. The abundance of work trucks with another business name threw us. If we had known it was the same place that would have been easier. 3 - Temperature control. The rooms get very hot and you are wearing a jumpsuit over your clothing. Everyone had to come out for air at one point. All in all it was a great time and we have already recommended it to friends. read more

I visited this place today. It was a lot of fun and pretty inexpensive. We did the rage room and axe throwing. I'll definitely be back to try the paint room! read more
