First, let's be clear about what this place is NOT. This is not a movie theater with recliners or waitstaff. No cocktail or plate will be brought to you during the movie. Also not the place to remove shoes, and fan ones pants. And yet .... Note: There is an imax with seats that will not stay upright. No footrest. There is no mechanical control, and if this matters to you- note there's likely to be pressure on the tail because of the odd seats. So, if you have a lower back issue beware. Also, the seats tilt so far that for those with long legs - it's kind of like the person in front of you, is in your lap. Second, what this place is: Kid Central. There are games, bowling, typical movie popcorn, and soda. There is also a bar with $15 cocktails. "Real food" can also be ordered from the typical movie concession area - and maybe the bar - However, the only tables I could find were 4 tops similar to mall food courts. Plenty of kids enjoying them. No waitstaff. No hand fans for sale. The day I was there, young children were prolific in the game and bowling area and elderly were out in droves at the imax - some of whom had removed their shoes. They all seemed happy as can be. So, if the kids need an outing with air conditioning or grandpa needs an imax experience - this place may be just right! However, a movie with a decent meal and beverage brought to you while you watch - its not gonna happen here. Also, not going to be a comfortable seat or have leg room or table space. But - there may be cranky old men without shoes actively using a hand fan on his crotch (see photos). I won't be there. read more

We came here to watch a movie, Senior (it was a good movie), then after played some arcade games and had a game of bowling. We had repeating issues with bowling but they would come pretty quick to try and fix the issues. This place is full of entertainment and they have food and drinks plus movies. It's a nice well rounded spit to hang out. I wasn't too crazy about the wings but everything else was pretty good. Had some pizza and drinks. read more

My hubby and I discovered this place a couple months ago and we absolutely love this place for our date nights. First off, every night including weekends, from 3-6pm and 9pm to close, they have happy hour in the restaurant where they have food deals for $5,$7! This burger and fries which tasted good by the way was only $7! They will also deliver your food to you outside the theatre room and you can take it in to see your movie! Tuesdays are their $5 deal days. $5 movies, $5 bowling! You could literally come here with a date and spend $40 for a movie, bowling and dinner!!! Where can you do that? Evo! They have other "deal" days as well. Definitely take advantage. This place has been clean and not too crowded making it a perfect chill spot. read more

I love arcade games and to find a fun place to bring my family It seems much bigger from the outside but still has alot of fun games and there is bowling and its connected to a movie theater which the prices seem very reasonable for both. I went bowling on New Year's Day. Thankfully, EVO is open. Unfortunately, our bowling lane malfunctioned, and two balls were stuck in the alley due to the pin guard coming down unexpectedly. This happened twice, hence, two balls in the alley. An employee saw this but said nothing to anyone. We had to speak to a different employee. Our game was moved to another lane. The same happened to a lane next to ours. My point is that the lanes should be up to par considering so many people bowl. That's why 3-stars Other than that, we had a good time, and we were able to bowl three games. I would give 5-stars to the employees. I know they're working with what they have. I still appreciate EVO because it's a great place for the entire family. read more

Manager Melissa is a complete liar & fraudulently charged my credit card while lying that she hadn't. It seems we are the anomaly experience at this location alas, 2 starts is being generous. Our visit started being told they no longer have the Grub&Game deal. Their bowling screens still advertise it. After ordering our food with the bartender, we never saw her again. The chicken tenders appeared either overcooked or cooked in old oil. I was later told my Melissa, "maybe your kids shouldn't order it." We asked and were told they would be made again. They came out looking the same. We then asked for a burger substitution. From order time to burger delivery was 45 minutes! Smash burgers were greasy, but I digress. After we ate, I asked for my $10 tip to be removed, AT LEAST. The manager, Melissa, came back and told me she comped our entire meal. I asked for a copy of my refund receipt since I had already paid. She handed me the exact copy of my paid for receipt. The then LIED to me that it was the refund receipt until I showed her I had a picture of that EXACT receipt. Melissa then brought a receipt that showed our meal "COMPED" but not refunded. Again LYING!!! I then asked for the other manager on site. When an employee called for him over the radio, I walked by Melissa who radioed "Diego is unavailable." Again, LYING!!! Diego listened to my concerns and offered us free bowling; as we had planned to pay to bowl but my husband was decided we would not spend another penny at this establishment. Diego was kind and empathetic. Diego is the only reason this place gets 2 stars. Despite all the time we wasted, we did have fun bowling, and I look forward to speaking to the GM, AJ about our unfortunate incident. read more

I've never been to this theater chain before, but it's a lot like Main Event with theater screens. EVO has numerous movie screens with some great deals like $5 Tuesdays, along with bowling lanes, arcade games, and a bar. I came for a private event and it actually works well for those. They have at least a couple separate private rooms with tables and chairs and you can have food set up buffet style depending on what your party orders. My event had the beef & chicken fajitas along with rice, beans, guacamole, queso, chips, sour cream, cheese, etc. The fajitas were pretty institutional like TopGolf or something, but tasted nice and were perfectly serviceable. I mostly played the arcade games which are always a lot of fun. Several weren't working like one of three skeeball lanes, a couple of the ball toss games, and a few others. Plenty of others won't work with the timed-play card that comes with events because they don't want to award tickets for those or they simply want cash like the virtual reality ones. But there are still numerous options like the Halo vehicle that seats four players in a light-gun game that is lots of fun. There aren't as many games as other arcades I've seen, but still plenty to have fun with. Sadly I didn't have time for bowling or a movie, but I did poke my head in a screening room and they seem comfortable with padded vinyl seats, although those are a bit flimsy. And keep in mind that this theater is almost a decade old so some of the seats are worn too. I liked the curved screens! read more

I went to evo on 1/31 for my son's birthday. We didn't do a party just went like regular and it was my first time here in over 5 years. I want to start with bowling we booked online pricing is super reasonable booked 2 lanes for an hour. During bowling my 5 year old son was getting close to the slippery part I did correct him a few times without yelling making a scene as a parent. I left to the bar area to check on 2 orders we placed to be brought to the lanes and while I was gone apparently a worker came out yelled and my child for getting on the slippery bowling part instead of telling 1 of the 5 adults whom were there. I did of course correct the adults as they should have told him as well but that doesn't give an employee the right to yell at a child and make then uncomfortable to where he no longer wanted to bowl. The manager on duty gave us 4 game passes that had 2 hours on them and a few free bowling/popcorn cards. This would've been great if it hadn't been for %80 of the games covered by the time game cards not working. I ended up telling staff 3 times about games that were out and not working seemed only the basketball one was fixed. I ended up purchasing $150 in game cards thinking maybe the paid for games would work and the same issue most were down and then the one I found to be working and just decided to try and get my kids game points ended up glitching and stopped working. It just felt like a waste of money that I won't get back and I genuinely wish we just took the drive to Gatti's town. I would recommend going here maybe on a weekday and bowling but the arcade portion just wasn't a great experience. read more

Big venue with a lot to do: movies, bowling, video games, billiards, bar, and bar food. There's nothing wrong with it; there's just nothing super about it. The seats do rock and are padded, but by today's recliner standards they are not plush. The food is bar fare, served in styrofoam containers, and not that great. It cost $50 for 2 sodas, a cheesesteak and the chicken tenders, we didn't finish them because they weren't great. The staff seemed nice enough and the space was relatively clean. I can see if I lived in Kyle and wanted a tame date night with options, it may be a good bet. Esp if you need to take the kids. read more

The staff at EVO Kyle is so nice and helpful, and the theaters are always clean and well managed! The last time my husband and went to EVO the WiFi was down, so not only did they give us a free movie but 1 of our food items was free. The manager didn't have to do any of the above, but he did. We will continue seeing all of our movies at this location. Ps the food is getting really good there! Wish they had a vegan option but I'm not dinging them on that. read more

Today me and my husband came to see a movie. We couldn't work the tablets so I asked for help from an employee. We were waiting quite awhile before anyone actually came to help. Me and my husband both saw this one employee named Dallis walk to this side room (talking to another employee) and didn't come back out until 10-15 minutes later. When she finally got to us her attitude felt very passive aggressive and straight out snobby towards us. I was very disappointed with the customer service and we missed the beginning of our movie. On top of that seats were very displeasing and my husband complained about lower back problems after the movie was finished. I saw Dune Part II here with a friend and was nervous because of all of the reviews stating it was super uncomfortable in the theaters. As someone with chronic neck and back pain, the theater seats were not uncomfortable. In fact, the theaters have so many seats that you can find a couple in an area without anyone sitting next to you quite easily and it gives you more leg and arm room. The staff were super helpful and made the experience even better. I will be back! read more

We went here to bowl. We arrived on a Friday at mid-afternoon. It was easy to get a lane (I called first to inquire). I thought that the cost was high. It was $46.00 for the two of us to bowl for one hour, which included shoes for us to rent. And, that cost didn't include any food or drink. The alley also has an arcade, plus a movie theatre. The business seemed clean, there was ample parking, but geez, bowling has gotten expensive. I'll have to admit that I didn't compare prices that other alley's charge. The theater seats were super uncomfortable, but I guess the easy-to-clean-seats were probably a hint for the type of movie theater we were embarking upon. My group left pretty sure the people behind us in the theater were doing NSFW stuff to each other. So in case it's not obvious, I will never see a movie here again. Will continue to go to places like the Alamo for movies (I now realize full service theaters weren't created so you didn't have to miss part of a movie to go grab food but instead were created to discreetly place hall monitors around, ensuring conditions remain sanitary). But the rest of the venue (bowling, games, bar) looked fun. Menus didn't accommodate restrictive diets (the only GF option was salsa / queso / chips). I heard the bartender was good. read more

Movie was great but we booked our seats online but when we arrived our seats were taken. We got an employee to come resolve the issue and it turns out the people sit in our seats had sat there because someone had sat in their seats but the people sitting in our seats and the people who stole their seats had double booked the same seats wich had nothing to do with us but instead of letting us sit in our seats the worker left saying he would come back but he never came back so me and the other two people who I came with had to sit separately one of us couldn't even sit in the same row. I'm also in a boot and crutches which probably made the people I had to sit around uncomfortable. The worker who was in theatre 2 on December 26 while the avatar 3 movie was playing at 6:20pm needs to make the popcorn or be assigned to something that does not involve helping customer's because he sucks at that. This was our first time here and honestly was not a fan. We purchased our tickets online and wanted to see what EVO was all about. The arcade room is pretty small. Outside this place looks huge! We paid $17 for a large popcorn and two large drinks. As we found out seats, I didn't realize they were recliner seats. The seats are super small and not a lot of room. I accidentally kept kicking the chair in front of me because every time I moved my body, I would forget how tight the space was. I felt super bad each time. I just felt super close to the person next me. The seats were that comfortable either. I felt their was a big hype for this place and I personally just wasn't a fan. read more

i was at evo the other day trying to watch a movie on my day off and this one employee named arnold was talking to me like i was stupid and was being very rude and inconsiderate and when i was leaving the movie theater this other employee i think his name was leo?? was giving me nasty looks and was just not doing his job i saw multiple people go up him and ask him simple questions and he just ignored them trying to act like he was busy the entire time i saw him. evo do better with who you hire. i am truly disappointed. read more

This movie theatre is AWFUL. The seats are the worst seats I've ever experienced. After 2 minutes of sitting in them I immediately refunded my tickets and we left . They aren't recliners and they feel like they're broken. We even tried different seats and they all suck and oddly rock back and forth. Never going back. Only reason I picked EVO was because the one in dripping springs has great recliner seats. Never going back would not recommend! read more
