    The blob

We came here for a birthday party, and it was about $27 each (including tax) for unlimited access to the blob, stand up paddle boards, and 1 hour of the inflatable obstacle course. I did not think this was worth the price. If you decide to do this, I would highly recommend wearing shorts and water shoes because the inflatable obstacle course was super hot and dry and tons of people had their skin peeling off when they went down the slides. It would be awesome if the obstacle course could be sprayed down every 30 minutes or something so there wasn't so much friction/the soles of your feet didn't feel like they were burning off. They only had one set of stairs to get out of the water (they were near the blob), and the stairs were super broken. Decided to pay the extra $40 (not including tax) for wake boarding ($25 for 2 hours, $15 for helmet/board/life jacket rental). It was my first time seeing wake boarding with just cables. This was totally worth the price!! It was a lot of our first times trying and we all managed to stand and wakeboard all the way across the lake on the beginner course. The staff member controlling the cables gave good tips. Some of our friends went to the advanced course as well! Kind of concerned about the age/wear of the equipment though, because the rope just completely snapped the first time one of our friends tried, and a staff member said she noticed the rope fraying earlier and was wondering how many more uses they could get out of it. They had shady areas with benches. You can bring your own food and drinks. They also have a food truck with burgers/hot dogs/chicken and waffles and shaved ice, but service was pretty slow. They had showers in the bathroom. You drive up a dirt/gravel road for about 5 minutes to get in. Plenty of parking. The staff members were friendly!

Quest Waterpark and Wakeboarding is a lot of fun and quite the workout! I've been 2 times and really enjoy the obstacle course. That's actually the only thing we did this time. Some of the inflatables could use a little more air but you'll have a great time. They also have a giant slide and wakeboarding that you hold on to the cables above the water. No reservations needed and it's better and more affordable than the course on Lake Travis.

If you haven't been out to Quest ATX you need to get out there ASAP! This is one of the most fun cable parks I've ever been too! Take all of you friends and family and let the wonderful staff teach you how to wakeboard, or hang out on the blob or NEW waterpark!! You won't be disappointed!

Awesome place to go with the family + your dogs! The staff is so friendly! Cute picnic area where you can hang out and watch your friends/family wakeboard. They were building the huge slide when we were there buts its complete now so we will definitely be back to try it!

Everyone in Austin needs to go here. Such a great water park, with such a great staff, at very reasonable prices. It's about a 20 min drive outside of town, down a dirt road - look for the business sign. It's a cable wakeboarding Park, and the staff is very helpful and great teachers. They can get you up on the board in one or two tries even if you've never wakeboarded. They also have a blob, a giant water slide, and a water obstacle course. For a full day pass on all the activities, plus all the gear rentals - $60! Unbeatable for some good clean fun. You can also bring drinks or food, and they serve a few there as well. Would really recommend to the business marketing it to bachelor parties, maybe get a food truck out there on Saturdays. Would love to see them excel out there!

I've never tried spin and I'm so glad I ran into Aaron's page on FB! I've been coming here for 3 weeks doing free classes (he is building his business) and it's been so much fun. For someone to not know ANYONE in TX other than my own family, it feels good to come here & meet new people that work just as hard as you on the bike! So if you are just starting- For me being new, finding the place was fine. I had to slow down because there are 2 entrances but he has a banner out in front saying Drenched. I guess it was kind of challenging for me bc I go at 5:30a or 6a class and it's still dark out. Lol When I first walked in there it seemed as if people were already comfortable with one another.. but the instructor Aaron welcomes you with open arms. 10 bikes available. He teaches you the basics of spin & reassures you that you go at your own pace until you get the hang of it. Aaron has DJ lighting & turns off all the lights during the ride but you can still see your way around just in case you need to get off and leave or use the restroom. He provides towels just in case you forget yours. But I recommend to bring your own towel AND water! He has wipes to wipe down the bike before and after. After the ride, he closes off with stretching. The music for his classes are generally hip hop, pop, & sometimes rock. Warning: his music can be explicit but I personally don't mind. I actually like it better that way lol. So this is your FAIR warning. Lol You will be doing some choreography on the bikes. They are not hard but also not simple. The music is there for you to stay on beat. So that means.. pedal pedal pedal! Times for the classes are pretty basic. Early morning, morning time, lunch hour and night classes. To make things easier it's best to download the app. You will leave this class DRENCHED. Have not tried HIIT with Drenched yet, but once I do.. I'll be back to leave a review :) Thank You Aaron & Drenched Team! Having a great time with spin class & finding a new hobby! - also for you heavy hitters: I'm more on the heavy side for women.. my knees are horrible from sports growing up but with spin It's not doing any damage to my knees. They're feeling great!

I've seen the good, bad, and ugly. Everything about CFA is top notch. You actually warm up here. You don't just do 10 cleans to get ready for a workout with 1000 cleans in it. You go into every workout and lift feeling prepared mentally and physically. I always felt like the programming was set with a direction and a goal towards a lift or workout. There are multiple for classes ranging from mobility, Olympic lifting, CrossFit, Hyrox, and even classes for soon to be mothers. I have very rarely ever seen that type of diversity in a gym throughout the whole country. The gym is organized. Everything has a spot. I've been to gyms where everything was just tossed in the corner, but that is not the case here. All the coaches are knowledgeable and helpful to every person regardless of their ability. The members are all welcoming. There is no ego in this gym and that's what I have loved about CFA. There are meet ups outside of the gym. It's meant to be a community. CFA is all the good things you'd want out of a CrossFit gym. It is truly a special place and I'd recommend this gym to anyone who is in the Austin area.

I met with Dylan at CrossFit Austin and I instantly knew he was the perfect Personal Trainer for me, and that he would help me accomplish my goals. I've now been working with Dylan a couple times a week for almost a year. I can't believe how strong and physically confident I've become working with Dylan. My body can now do things I would have never imagined it could do. He has helped me gain new strength after being diagnosed with Osteoporosis a few years ago, and has been helping me rebuild my health from a year of breast cancer treatments in 2017. I feel sure that when I am next tested for the Osteoporosis it will show that I've gained new bone since the last test.. I am confident that the strength training I've been doing with Dylan is the best thing I could be doing for my body and my health. I told Dylan when we started that I wanted to be a woman that could get up and down off the floor with ease at 90. I know that I will be that woman because I now know what my body is capable of when I exercise it properly and regularly. I feel great, I have more energy, I look young and fit, and I know that I'm a strong and healthy 60 year young woman. I can not recommend Dylan and CrossFit Austin enough. It's NOT your typical CrossFit Gym! I suggest you give it a try, whether it's for their group training classes or personal training.

There is also part of the contract that says you cannot cancel after a freeze, even if it was medically required--this forced me to spend more money than I had anticipated. To "help me out" they put me on a new agreement for a lower cost plan until my cancellation went through. I was told it would be a lower charge for ONE month and no further charges would occur. I was told the owner would call to discuss with me and she never did. I ended up getting a text from the owner saying she was never notified. When did call, she talked over me while I was trying to share my concerns. She confirmed that my contract was cancelled for the next month (March). She kept telling me that in my emailed agreement it stated there is a 30-day notification for cancellation, the attached photo is the policy included in the agreement email she is talking about. She did not acknowledge this when I read it to her over the phone. Overall, the lack of professionalism from the business owner was disappointing. My success story consists of an old version of me and a new me. My journey started two years ago…read morewhen I was dreaming of how a skinnier version of me would impress myself, friends and family. I envisioned that my clothes would fit better, friends and family relationships would be fixed, and going to the pool would be more positive. I did everything that I could think of: meal prepping, going to the gym, ordering off of the "skinny" menu, buying trendy workout clothes to motivate me more. At the time, I was embarrassed that I was in this situation, and so I wanted to work on my insecurity, on my own. One day, I became frustrated at my level of insecurity and even more so, acknowledge that perhaps my "friends" weren't friends if they contributed to my insecurity. I came across a boot camp and without much thinking (because I didn't want to think too much of it) signed up for three times a week of boot camp for 8 months with a trainer and her female only group of trainees. I went to my first day, expecting the worse - that my insecurities would flare up and that all I would want to do was to fibble through the workout and not come back. Perhaps it was the trainer? Perhaps it was a good day at work? Perhaps pigs flew over our Texas skies, but I plopped my cleaned, unused mat and water bottle in the middle of the class and danced as if no one was watching. Soon enough, I realized that those around me were going through the same experiences. Some were encouraging, inspiring, motivating and eager to help. There was never any discussion on how someone should. There was no "should" way to lose weight, no "should" way to diet and no "should" way to do the exercise. The point was to get active and have fun doing whatever you're doing. Although I don't' reside close enough to attend the boot camp today, it is two years later, and I am attending other boot camps and doing the same exercises I learned from my brief 8 months at Buda Texas Fit Chicks. The new version of me is healthier. Since losing some weight, my priorities has change to where I don't need to go back on my old visions of myself. I don't care what pool people are thinking (if they are even thinking of me at all). I don't follow a strict "should" of boiled grilled chicken and broccoli recipe. I do whatever I feel is right for me and have fun doing it which is what I've learned during this boot camp. Thumbs up!
