Derrick of Unbreakable Solutions is a genius!!! All of a sudden, in the midst of several ongoing projects, my computer stopped working. For no reason. I couldn't print and I couldn't save anything. Great. I called my friend and he said my C drive was full. How was that possible? I don't store videos and I don't game, I called another friend and he said something was using up all my C drive but he didn't know how to diagnose it. What to do? Take it in someplace? Call the Geek Squad and wait for days for an appointment? Then I remembered Derrick. Years ago, when I was a transcriptionist, our service used him because he was fast, accurate and could even work remotely. With transcription, everything was stat and there was no time for breakdowns. Well, I looked him up under his company name, Unbreakable Solutions, and was pleased to see he was still in business. Because my C drive was SO full, he couldn't get in remotely to see what the problem was, but he carefully and explicitly texted me directions of things to do to get more space, and had me send him pictures of what the different screens showed. And it worked! He got in and discovered it was a hidden, undetectable Windows file that was eating up the space, and removed it. Good as new, and all done remotely! Thank you, Derrick, for doing an amazing job while charging reasonable prices. I will certainly use you again if I have any other problems! read more

Very helpful and knowledgeable gentleman assisted me in a technical issue. I believe he will do everything he can for his customers.

I'm sorry that I thought I'd already left a Yelp review for Derrick / Unbreakable Solutions. Derrick first helped my son solve issues on a PC build. Later he evaluated our now outdated interior cable / phone wiring. Just recently he advised us on home wifi issues. Derrick's technical expertise and eagerness to immediately help solve problems and is exceeded only by his friendly and approachable manner. A true professional who's also amiable, relatable and generous with his time and advice. Wish I could give 6 stars! read more

Derrick at Unbreakable Solutions is amazing!!!! He was referred to me several years ago by a work colleague to help me transfer information from my old laptop to my new one. He was so knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I am very technologically challenged so his patience was greatly appreciated. Today I was unable to turn on my computer after an update last night. It wasn't responding. I phoned him and he solved the problem with in 2 minutes. Thank you, Derrick!!! You are the best!! read more

I was referred to Derrick by a friend after we were hacked at my office. Derrick consulted us on backup solutions both hardware and offsite via the cloud. After being hit with a Crypto Lock we had to come up with a solution that would prevent us from paying ransoms and something that would allow for any theft or mass system crashes. Giving us a full explanation of options that varied in price we went with one that was affordable but reasonable for the company. Thanks for all the advice and setting up the company backup solution! read more

I have been using Unbreakable Solutions and Derrick for my IT business computer services for approximately 8 months now. During the migration he also recommended backup and cloud solutions for my business which I appreciated and implemented. Derrick is always available whenever I email or call him for my IT needs. He charges by the hour and is reasonable in his fees. I would highly recommend the Company and Derrick to all my fellow yelpers. read more

As the office manager of a small business, I am always looking for outside technical support for whenever we run into issues with our computers. Being that we are a small business means no in-house tech support department, so it's nice to have a reliable and knowledgeable IT company come to our rescue. Derrick is awesome, he helped our company set up our brand new computers (which we were badly in need of), a server, security system, antivirus and backups of all our files. Highly recommended! read more

I recently was in the SoCal area, and I was having some major trouble with my laptop and iPad. The two wouldn't sync, no matter how many times I tried to restart either device. Based on a friend's rec I called Unbreakable Solutions, and Derrick was super helpful - he helped me get the syncing working again, and then on top of that, he cleaned up my computer, installed latest anti virus software, and helped me get my files automatically backed up each night to the cloud, so now I don't have to worry about my files being lost (it's happened to me before once when my hard drive died, bad bad experience). Thanks again! read more

Derrick has been keeping my computers and network running smoothly for almost a decade at my chiropractic office in Torrance. We have a server and several desktops at my practice. Our previous computer guy would show up late (or sometimes not at all), not have the right tools or equipment and was rude. Not Derrick! He's smart, knows what he's doing and is always friendly. He even helps me with my iPhone issues. I like how he doesn't try to make money off of hardware and software reselling, he just bills for his time and expertise. I have recommended Derrick to several people and they all love him. read more

I was going to bring my lap top to these people and when I called, Derrick was super helpful! since my laptop is older and a bit cheap he just recommended me to back up all my important documents and buy a new one. He didn't think that a tune up would be much help on the speed. he could have ripped me off at $110/hrs but he was honest and provide me with 10 minutes of info over the phone! it's nice to know there are honest people still out there! Derrick was super nice! Hope your business grows, thanks for the help! read more

There is your IT guy and then there is your IT God. And there is only one God of IT-Derrick Austin that is. I had limited wifi coverage at my house and Derrick helped me install another wifi access point to increase coverage. Now we can connect our phones and laptops to the Internet anywhere in the house!" This guy exudes vast knowledge, passion, and most of all, empathy - as he processes special talents to communicate complex/technical stuff in plain English so that a tech virgin like myself can understand. I've used Derrick as my go-to IT resource for my business the last 3 years and cannot recommend him enough. He's helped me scale my needs from 2 employee workstations to 5 including remote logins, VOIP phones, a central server, wirelessly networked printers, etc. In addition to being available for scheduled maintenance appointments, he utilizes remote login capability to troubleshoot us digitally in the case of any tech emergencies. This has been of HUGE help to us & is also very efficient for billing purposes (minimizes his billable time - great for a business!). I also find him to be extremely accessible, rapidly responding to emails and always answering his phone. He also recently helped us relocate our entire office system from Orange County to Los Angeles. When we encountered issues with our internet provider on the move date, he helped us devise an interim plan for biz operations & then came back to help complete setup upon final line install. read more
