Roxie, in front of a Christmas tree since she was gone during Christmas

We had such a great experience with Andy. Our phone conversation about our dog, Roxie, made it clear that her situation was more of a rehabilitation than a simple training, but Andy was very thorough at explaining what process she would need to do better (Roxie has severe anxiety that was starting to cause her to get aggressive with strangers). She was there for 17 days which spanned over Christmas, which we were sad about but Andy made sure he gave Roxie and us a great experience by allowing us to bring her Christmas sweater and gift for him to give her on that day. Andy sent pictures and videos of her almost daily and communicated the progress and expectations of her rehabilitation. Roxie is on a lot of medications due to her anxiety and previous cancer diagnosis, and Andy was welcoming of her and took her medication schedule very seriously. I didn't pack enough medication and he made sure to let me know so that I could get more instead of just letting her go three days without it, which we really appreciated. Roxie also has skin allergies and needs to have baths regularly. Andy made sure she was bathed well while she was with him. Roxie formed a great bond with Andy and we could tell she was enjoying her time there even though her anxiety can be a problem sometimes (gave her tummy issues that Andy handled gracefully and professionally). Overall, we are so happy that we were able to take her in for board and train as this was a completely different experience than what Roxie would have had in a facility with multiple dogs. Andy made sure to accommodate her to prevent further anxiety from other dogs or humans while in the rehab process. If I could give more stars, I would, but definitely a 5 star service. Would highly recommend even for difficult dogs.

I had the pleasure of working with Andy for an extended period of time to correct the behavior of my dog aggressive German Shepherd. After dealing with Andy and seeing first hand how knowledgable he is, I wouldn't recommend any other trainer. He truly cares about his clients and isn't someone who just moves onto the next client. I still get calls from time to time checking up on us. Class act all around. We're going to be starting agility work with him this Spring and are super excited.

Andy has done great work for my dogs. He's been able to work on reactivity and going into unfamiliar places with my anxious dog and has made a world of a difference

    Marshall

We took our dog Marshall for training. He was very afraid of other dogs and would growl, bark, and snarl. He did not know how to heel. Not only did he learn to heel on both my left and right sides on command but he can stand and sit 2 feet away from another dog with not a peep out of him. His tail wags and ears are perked and he pretty much ignores them. I never thought it was possible after 6 years of growling and snarling. He also learned some other commands such as look, leave it, and place. Marshall's has confidence he has never had. He is no longer afraid of everything. He used to drag everyone when walking and now walks right next to me and keeps pace. Marshall is my service dog and he comes with me to Mayo Clinic of which I am there often. I recommend Unbreakable Bond Dog Training. Andy is a talented trainer.

    Willow

Andy is great to work with and true to his word. We have kept in communication for over a year. He has worked mostly with my dog Willow who has exhibited some aggressive behavior, But has also given a few pointers for our girl Aspen who is on the shy side. I would highly recommend Andy for any behavioral issues.

The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. The classes are incredibly valuable too. The results speak for themselves.

She had plenty of tips and techniques and it was nice having her visit the home for the sessions to see how he is in that environment. After several mixed purpose sessions I feel like we're on the path to success, maybe. We hope .
