He agreed to do the job and the price was fair. Then he didn't show up the day the work was to be done. Maybe Paul was sick or something.. but why didn't he call me????

They also brought with them all of the proper supplies and cleaning equipment; and they knew how to use them. They were very pleasant, they arrived on time, and they worked without stop until the job was done. Lastly, one thing that really stood out for me was that I did not notice either of them on their cell phone. Of course a business owner has to take calls, and if Luis had any, he took care of it and got right back to work. We give them our highest recommendation.

It has no police force, so it's patrolled by the County Sheriff and CHP (CA Highway Patrol). It does have a school district. Town government is done thru Alameda County. San Lorenzo Village is actually a planned community. In 1944, this planned community was built to provide housing for war industry workers. Tract homes, parks, churches, schools and shopping areas were all planned and built. That would explain why all the homes look like they're the same age and style. Hesperian Blvd runs thru town. I use this street to bypass I-880 traffic delays. There's a great variety of stores, restaurants, gas stations, and banks along Hesperian Blvd in San Lorenzo. There's a huge vacant lot in the middle of town. This was the site of the first Mervryn's retail store. Mervryn's shut it down to build a new flagship store at Southland Mall (in Hayward). The area has been a vacant lot forever. In general, the town seems rundown. Doesn't seem to be much new development.

Setting up an account takes less than 5 minutes, and I appreciate that they send an invoice at the end of the month versus having to pay on the spot. Bonus: no fee to activate an account, or keep an account on file. Their prices are beyond reasonable, especially with the level of service they offer. I've used them for smaller deliveries (envelopes and small packages), as well as larger items (several large boxes) for events or hotel pickups. Dominic is the one I've worked with the most, and each time he's been prompt but friendly, and will work with me if there's a specific time frame an item needs to be picked up or delivered. Once a courier was extremely delayed due to the weather, and Dominic stayed past his shift to ensure the courier and I were able to connect/hand off the item. I've happily recommended Flash Messenger to co-workers and clients, and will continue to do so. Tips: -Work in a building with strict visitor/check-in procedures? Bring this to Flash Messenger's attention when setting up the account so they can make a note of this (ex: couriers must have a valid photo ID for check in) -Have several packages or one heavy package? Make this known when placing a request for pickup/delivery, as this will help to ensure they send the right type of courier (bike, car, truck, etc.). Saving you and their courier a possible headache -Payment for monthly invoice: credit cards are not accepted (helps to keep cost of their services down), but you can pay via check or money order

My office desperately needed a new courier service...we just didn't trust the last one we used…read more After perusing around their website and another courier's website, I went with them for two very simple reasons: 1) They require no forms - I just wanted be able to call someone and tell them we needed a delivery from Point A to be Point B without having to write an essay; and 2) hello, $5 delivery compared to our last $20 delivery (down a couple of blocks)?! That's 4 deliveries with Flash, but only 1 delivery with our last courier...no brainer there! Setting up an account with Flash was soo easy; Dominic and the other lady who sometimes pick up (sorry, I don't know your name!) are superrrr friendly, quick, and thorough. And we almost always get the same messenger...although I don't know his name either. But he's very nice and speeds in and out with the quickness, getting the jobs done correctly. I admit I did have some doubts with our recent delivery, as I called them and told them I needed this delivery to be there within the hour (it wasn't our normal guy)...but they saved the day and made it on time! I am sorry Flash; I will never doubt you again. Oh and another genius plus - they offer paperless billing and can send invoices to your email! Very sustainable and green (:
