Stay away. I spoke with Jim about serving court documents to someone at a big tech company as that was the only address we had. If he had really been in business for decades, he should have known how much trouble it was. Instead, he charged us for the service and gave up. He never even attempted to fill out the court form to say he had attempted to serve the documents. Overall, a really poor experience. I'd recommend Bayside Process Services instead as they went to multiple addresses and succeeded in giving us the court documents we needed. [Edit: Jim continues to claim that the address is incorrect or erroneous as stated in other reviews. It seems that he just wants to make a quick buck instead of actually trying to do his job. Again, I would not recommend A D Services Process Service because of his lack of transparency/communication in process serving (first time serving court documents). I know people think that landlords don't care about their tenants but for some of us that's not true. After numerous complaints (years) and breaking her lease we had to evict her. Now that I've experienced another process server in the area serving my amended petition, I can say without question that AD Services did a very poor job the first time. They promised service within 3-5 days, and promised to update me when they attempted service. It took 3 weeks before he was served, and I never received a single call or email to update me on what was going on. I called every few days to check in, being nervous about the whole divorce process, and they never knew what was going on or why he hadn't been served yet. They also told me they would file the paper with the court, and I realized eventually they did not and filed it myself. I recently had to file an amended petition and I used Islay Management Group. Jeff was extremely professional, kept me updated constantly, and even sent me photos to show that he had completed the service. It was done within 24 hours. read more

They are not knowledgeable and experienced in serving documents to corporations. I learned that you cannot serve legal documents to big corporation since they have registered agency. However, A D should know this and advised me before taking my money. The corporation didn't accept the document from A D, and A D still charges me for the fees. They do not have any experience in serving documents to corporations. read more

This was the first time I had ever been involved in a civil suit and I had never used a process server before. Jim was a consummate professional. He was extremely easy to work with, had fair and reasonable prices, and served the other party promptly. Although he is located in Fremont, apparently he provides process service in all 9 bay area counties. I opted for his rush service, as this was for a temporary restraining order, which isn't valid until service to the other party is complete. He was sensitive to the situation and after repeated attempts was able to fulfill service in a couple days. Not only was he swift in the completion of his task, but he had excellent communication and was always accessible. This company is very unproffesional when it comes to foreclosures. The tactics they use to get their job done could be done by a child. Instead of actually serving the papers to the appropiate parties they wait until the last minute to tape the info to the door and rip off the first page to make it seem like they did it in a timely manner. They failed to rip off the portion that had their contact info along with the dates the info was actually rec'd.....LOL read more
