Dr. Ngo is a very kind and knowledgeable person; you can tell he has a passion for what he does! I went with a different place at first because it was closer to where we were living. Well, that turned out to be a mistake. I ended up having a bad experience there and finally switched to S&L. Dr. Ngo and his team fixed everything the other dentist had messed up. Right away I knew my wife had been right all along. I've been going to S&L for four years now and they really are the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Ngo has removed all my old metal fillings and replaced them with modern ones, plus he's done a couple of crowns for me. Everything looks and feels great. My wife has also been extremely happy with all the work he's done for her too. I'm almost 55 and I've seen a bunch of top-rated, highly recommended dentists over the years, both here in the US and a couple in Mexico. Nothing else comes close. One thing I have to mention is how good Dr. Ngo is with people who hate dental visits or get nervous about pain. His work is excellent, but it's the way he takes care of you that makes the biggest difference. For example, the way he does Novocaine shots is unbelievable. You barely feel it at all. Every dentist out there should learn his technique. With all that said, I do think the front office experience could be better. If the customer service up front matched Dr. David's clearly caring vibe, it would be 100% perfect. If you're looking for a truly professional dentist who gives five-star care and service, this is the place. Dr. David Ngo at S&L is the only one I would recommend without any hesitation.

Unfortunately, I will no longer be going to see S&C Dental. They charge TOO much. I have great dental insurance and it is depleted after one visit. They want all money up front before you even get the service done. I don't have thousands of dollars just sitting around to pay in full even before service has been done. They are NOT flexible at all with creating a dental payment plan. They just expect me to whip out a credit card and charge it. Like most working people I work paycheck to paycheck. I believe because of the swanky Scottsdale location, they just think everyone has that kind of money lying around. I am sad because I really loved that office.

For context I avoided the dentist at all costs for nearly 25 years due to a pretty rough experience I had as a child which created a bit of a severe phobia (the kind where you seriously consider pulling your own teeth instead of going to the dentist). Like you'd expect my teeth became an issue that couldn't be ignored anymore and I began looking for a dentist. I stumbled across all west family dentistry and took a chance that has turned out to be an excellent choice. They have been incredibly patient and supportive all the way through & I could not have gone from being too afraid to sit in the chair to successfully getting a tooth extracted without their superb quality of care. From reception, to the hygienists, dental assistants, and the dentists themselves this place is great. I'd like to thank Dr Aguilar, his assistants one I believe is named Erica, the other who helped with my extraction I cant remember her name but she was very kind and helpful. Their answer - if we recommend upcharges and you refuse them, we cannot treat you at all. So you pay their extra prices or you can go see someone else. When did dentistry become a god damn money scam??????? DON'T GO TO THIS OFFICE UNLESS YOU HAVE UNLIMITED MONEY!!!!!!
