BUYER BEWARE!!! They tried to sell us a unit that had cockroaches in it. They said that they didn't see any roaches in the unit. We hired someone to transport (not one of their 3rd party transporters) and inspect the unit for us and he was able to point out EVERY cockroach to Luis. To which Luis responded that "one or two cockroaches are normal to have in units" maybe his normal, but not mine! The unit was missing the ac capacitor, yet they said they "fixed" the unit up. They are rude, and shady. Luis & the owner lack customer service skills. Luis only wanted to stand there and argue with us and our hired help to transport & inspect the unit. I guess there is a reason just about EVERY transporter in DFW H.A.T.E.S these people. The unit we were going to purchase was the 2017 Prowler 30LX. He finally responded that there was an issue with the unit. When I ask what the issues were no response. Finally my husband called he then said that it was a salvage title. Well I had taken pictures of it and I had a picture with the vin number. There is no salvage title. My guess it was sold to someone that he could make more money off of. read more

Just like most of the others I wouldn't recommend this place. Horrible customer service. I paid cash for a RV in December 2021 and still don't have my title and registration. They have yet to file any papers but told me they did, so they have no problem lying to customers. Voicemail is full so can't leave messages and the Facebook page has a general manager listed that said she didn't work there anymore but wanted to take my info because she was "still in touch" I didn't even get the trailer off the lot before the seller ghosted me and we had no keys to it, vents were broken and they gave us replacements that didn't fit. Office staff are not up front or honest, renovation crew is horrible, waranty is no good, never got copies of paper work, once they have your money they could care less. CRAPPY JUST CRAPPY PEOPLE went from Hot Springs AR to White Settlement just to find out even with the warranty we are having to repair leaks in and out (seals (rotted) and pex) , a weak floor, a circuit pannel, multiple cosmetic detail fixed inappropriately, electrical issues, bunk door fell completly off of wall, carpet inappropriately laid and laid on top of a filthy existing tile, wood patched over other weak spots, carpet hidding holes, vents floating on floor, bent frame on slide out with bolts falling out, this just to name a few. The only reason I give 1 stars is for the one that had to be called out to help us with the hitch that we was assured could be mounted for a set price, only to find out they couldn't mount it. Leaf spring broke on tow, tires only had 45lbs of pressure (really?) Doug ( I believe is his name) needs a huge raise or promotion for his dedication, the boy that refurbished this 5th wheel needs a demotion or pay cut. STAY AWAY!! Where to begin..First I got home (5 hours away) and found the black and grey tanks nearly full. Second, while cleaning it out since they didn't, found two used syringes and a broken crack pipe in the nightstand. Third, roof leaks even though they certified it as good. Fourth, Regulator leaks badly for the propane tanks, which are also mismatched and out of date for refill. Fifth, they advertised it as having a sleeper sofa, yet out a two person couch in with no sleeper. As I was driving home I was notified by another driver none of the running lights work and there are no safety chains on it (expensive ticket if caught). Totally unprofessional! Will never do business with them again!! Believe it or not there is much more I could say negative. But, nothing positive to say about the experience. If you think they seem nice and professional, it is because you haven't paid them yet. read more

Here's my story~My daughter and her fiance went to Ultimate RV - The Buy HERE Pay HERE RV Dealership - Ultimatervsales.comon or around the end of November. They met with Katy and found a camper they liked and were told they could get financed for $3,000 down payment and approximately $550. On or around Dec 2, they confirmed that my daughter and her fiance were approved to purchase a camper. On Dec 10, my daughter and her fiance drove from Austin, TX to put a deposit down and choose a camper. They purchased a money order for $1,000 and left it with the sales rep and were given a handwritten receipt and were going to bring the remainder of the deposit when they received their next paycheck. They traveled back home. Then on Dec 14, the rep called and said that they had to require additonal downpayment of $3000 for a total of almost $6K! My daughter contacted me to see if we could help with additional money down. My daughter contacted the rep to let them know that $6K down was not something they were able to do and requested that the initial deposit be returned. They contacted Katy on Friday, Dec 20th, to let her know they needed to pick up their money and were told that was fine. They text Katy to let her know they were planning on coming to pick up their refund on Sun or Mon. However, when they drove back to Ultimate RV on Monday, they were told that the check was not ready and that they had to wait until it cleared the bank. After much ado, my daughter left to return to Austin with no refund check in hand. Numerous texts back and forth between my daughter and Katy over the next few days and were told that it had been submitted for their refund but due to holidays it might be delayed a little longer and possibly finalized around the 2nd of January. On Friday, 3rd I contacted Katy and she explained the situation and said that it should be ready no later than Monday, Jan 6th. There were several heated conversations prior to my contacting her as my daughter felt as if they were just being given excuses. On Monday the 6th, my daughter text Katy again and was told when the boss got in around 10am she would let them know when they could come pick up their money. Finally, they were told it was ready! Drove to Dallas for the 3rd time no less to arrive and no check??? They requested the receipt for the money order and went to the back to get the refund check. When they gave the check to my daughter, it was for $750! That's $250 less than what my daughter paid in certified funds! Needless to say my daughter's fiance flipped, my daughter called me crying and frantic that he wigged out and that they didn't return the entire amount. So, I tried calling and was told they could not talk to me when I asked if they had anything in writing stating they would keep $250. She (do not know her name) said she needed to get off the phone with me. So, here we are! At this point, trying to determine the best course of action! read more

Their website is misleading as none of the pictures look like if of the actual rvs on their location. We walked through all the travel trailers they had for sale and all but the 2014-2015 Trail Masters were crapped out. Parts were missing, they smelled of cigarettes, animal feces and throw up. I don't know how they expect to make good sells when they rvs aren't even cleaned before going on "display". There prices are ridiculous, $600-$700 a month for a bumper pull for 72 months. That's with a downpayment from $3500-$5000, are you serious. We didn't buy from them and we don't encourage it either. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

They don't even deserve ONE star. I ended up buying from here but only because I was desperate and actually (luckily) found the ONE suitable rig on the lot. And I looked at them ALL. My husband and I drove from Midland on the promise of a specific RV that we confirmed with a salesperson was there only to find out- it wasn't. Walking the lot to find something else suitable was like being at a chop shop. Everything was gutted in most of the RVs. Furniture pulled out, kitchens in a mess, etc. I kept telling my husband to leave but he finally found us a 2014 5th wheel that looked new and you could tell had barely been used. But we really did get lucky. The price was ok but the financing ended up making us put down an additional 1,500 over what we agreed to and after all that- as soon as the papers were signed- everyone left! It was just a maintenance guy there at closing trying to get us set up with the RV that we noticed the sterio didn't work, the shower head needed replacing and the exterior lights (turn signals) didn't work, among other things! And he was trying to get us to drive it home like that. We refused until he fixed it all and then after driving 5 hours home, he had given us the wrong power cord so we couldn't even hook it up. A few days later we also had to replace the pipes under the sink and the battery. It was a nightmare and I plead you to not do business with them. Their inventory is seriously the worst crap I have ever seen, the financing sucks and they are liars, shady and unprofessional. If your desperate and can't get financed anywhere just be prepared for a crappy rig with crappy financing. You will most likely experience more problems then it's worth. read more

Whatever you do, DO NOT do business with this place and if you absolutely have to then make sure the deal you make with them is set in stone before you give them any money. If you don't and they come back wanting more money down you will not get it back, even though they'll tell you that they'll refund it to you if the deal doesn't work. I have spent the past few weeks being told that they would refund the money and was given all sorts of excuses as to why they haven't done it. The salesman stopped answering my calls and texts so my wife and her mother called and they told them that they would not be refunding the money due to some sign on the salesman's desk. If this really was the case then why not be straight forward with me? I do have screenshots of the messages saying that the money would be refunded to my bank account also. It's amazing how these people sleep at night knowing what they've done to me and I'm sure countless other people. I don't get my checks for free and neither should they. Recently bought a trailer from these guys. They taped the power cord and it caught fire a couple days ago. Absolutely no power to the unit now. Called the office, and was instructed to call a service line that rings and then says no voicemail is set up. This is the worst place to try to get an RV/trailer. They are a scam. We were given a deal and then they went back on their word, we had left a 1000$ deposit just to reserve the trailer and in the end, we did not want the trailer because they lied about the deal they had made with us, the manager named Cheryl said it would be no problem refunding our deposit, my fiancé called and she said all she needed was his debit card info and the money would be put back on the debit card, it's been a week since then and when I called to speak to Cheryl about what's going on with my deposit she said she still had to talk to her bosses bc she was not authorized to put the money back on the card, and it just so happens that the bosses are never around when we have tried to get a hold of them, they are either never in or we were told they would give us a call, we proceeded to call Cheryl, after multiple times trying to reach her she has no answers and has stopped answering the phones and so DO NOT, I release, DO NOT fall for this place , it's nothing but a scam!! read more

They seem very nice at first but get EVERYTHING they say in writing. They didn't have an RV exactly like we wanted and offered to special order one with exactly what we wanted. Nightmare, they didn't have a clue what they were doing.we had driven 3 and a half hours to get there and they said we could leave and they would call the next day and go over all of the options and get a price. well after about 2 weeks of me calling everyday i finally got someone with access to a computer. Yeah that was a problem. to sit down and go over exactly what we wanted. She Katie said she would call the manufacturer that day and get back with a price. well we waited and calle d and waited and called. finally after a couple of weeks we get a price quote of 30100.00 for the completed unit. we were selling our house and said we would put as much down as we could and would need to finance the rest. possible 5000-8000 at the price quoted. I was told the manufacturer was not taking special orders until july 2nd about 3 weeks away and that it would probably be ready for delivery the last week in july. great finally everything taken care of. yeah right. I called katie on july 2nd to verify that the order had gone in as planned. no luck. I called left messages texted called left messages texted. I finally heard back from her on july 18th. she had been ill. and i guess no one at the lot could answer my questions. by then we had sold the house and told them how much we could pay and how much needed to be financed. they had already taken a loan application and we had been approved, the amount to be financed was more than anticipated because our house didn't bring in as much as we thought it would. Sooo I asked katie to resubmitt the amount to be financed and to give me a monthy payment. she absolutly did everything she could to get out of answering that question. after more ignored calles and texts she finally told me to stop contacting me and call another sales person. so i did. cheryl then told me that we had originall told them we would be paying cash for the unit. NOT! why the credit app and the $5000 down payment? then cheryl told me that because it was no longer a cash deal (never was) the price would change. I said okay thinking that was fair we weren't putting as much up front as we had said and was getting more financed. The price was now $43900 base price not even including financing. thats about $14000 more for the exact same unit. plus we would have to pay financing and all kinds of other fees. Sorry not gonna happen really $14000 more. i was then told that they had been "fighting with the finance company for 2 days. 2 ! they had the info for over 20 days. We told them no thanks we will continue to shop. lost our deposit on the rv space that was reserved for aug 1st since we thought we were good for that date. Now they are threatening me with legal action if i don't buy the unit originally quoted at $30100 for $43900 what a joke. they won't return my down payment. This place is a joke. They will lie about anything they can to get you to purchase a rv from them. I should have listened to my gut about this place when I noticed on the internet where it said they weren't responsible for misrepresentations or misprints. I travel for a living doing construction and have bad credit from a divorce I am working to repair. I paid cash for an rv and used it for a while. My wife wanted a newer and bigger one and they told me this was a great place to improve your credit as all their lenders report to all three credit bureaus. The sale price, interest, and monthly note are ridiculous for what you get, but like an idiot I accepted under the condition it would build my credit up as they stated. I have had the rv for almost six months. When I initially got it I paid for some repairs that they stated they would reimburse me for. I sent in my receipt and that never happened! I checked my credit a week ago to see how much it made my score improve to find that all my report showed was an open loan with no payment history. I called to check on this to find that the finance company that "always reports to all three credit bureaus " not only didn't report a single payment, they sold my account to another finance company that doesn't report to credit bureaus! If you want to be scammed by people worse than tote the note lot used car salesmen, (Cheryl is the worst) then this is the spot for you!! I wouldn't recommend this spot to my worst enemy and will be contacting a lawyer though I'm sure anything can be done. I only gave them a star because no stars wasn't an option. read more

Tried to get pricing before going out there but i couldnt ever get a return phone call or email. I did my homework before going out and reviewed all the trailers on the website and OH MY they were thousands above what the NADA pricing of these units were. Poor customer service and extremely overpriced trailers. They want crazy amount for down payments then hit you with a stupid interest rates. In July 2015 my husband and I found a 5ht wheel from Ultimate RV. We agreed to put a $500 deposit on a down payment. Days later we received a call stating that the one we wanted was no longer available but they could give us a different option for a bigger down payment and bigger monthly payments. When we didn't agree to is and asked for our money to be refunded to us we were told the finance department would get back to us. We were looking for a 'Buy here, pay here' lot for obvious reasons. I was very hesitant about this place after reading the 2 yelp reviews. My husband spoke with Cheryl over the phone and she left him with a good impression, hard to do with him because he doesn't trust anyone. We drove up from Houston on a Saturday. They let us look at the RV'S they had on the lot without pestering us. We found a bumper pull that had everything we wanted but it was already sold. Luckily, they had another one coming in that had the same floorplan. Cheryl said she would send me pictures or video of the incoming trailer. I called 2 days later since I hadn't heard from her. She was sick. (Life happens!) Danny contacted her though, and got right back with me. I didn't get the VIN until Friday and we were planning to get it Sunday. I wasn't left with much time to get insurance but when my insurance company wasn't able to help me, they gave me a contact with a State Farm agent. He helped me right away. The paperwork didn't take long. We gave the down-payment and made plans to pick it up the next day. We arrived later than we had hoped on Sunday. We did the walk through with the tech, Justin. He didn't hurry us, he answered all of my and my daughters questions without being annoyed, and he knew what he was talking about. He did so much to make sure that our trailer was ready for us and to make sure we were happy with it. Yes, it may be a bit more than we expected, but not much, but when you have bad credit that is the price you pay. We would definitely do business with this company again. read more

My wife and I picked out a 2013 unit and pulled it home well we blew a tire before we made it to little rock Ar. It rained from there back to Tennessee and the inside of the rv looked like a swimming pool. We got it home and slept in it one night well needless to say for the next week my two daughters under the age of 3 were super sick. My wife was having breathing issues and I had to miss work because I couldn't get out of bed. I called and talked to Katie and Hope both told me we could bring it back and exchange it for something in"better" shape. I wasn't able to take the rv back myself because I had to get back to work. So we decided I'd pay the bill for a company to transport it back to tx. After the rv was picked up we were told in order to get into something else they need another $1500 down so we decided to try and get our money back and go a different route well we are still waiting and like the other reviews they ignore calls texts and say they are fighting with the finance company to get our money back. Do not even think about this place if your looking for an rv. It's amazing to me that these people can actually go home after a "day's work" and feel satisfied that they were as honorable as they could be. Thank God she listened to her gut instinct to make the five hour trip over to look at the camper before putting anymore money down. Once we got there we were told the camper was "in the shop." They told her she could pick another one. All were stripped down and just nasty. Filing a complaint with the Texas Attorney General tomorrow morning. I wish I had researched this company. Until 2 weeks ago I had never been to their lot. I conducted the whole transaction over the internet and phone so I had never been able to check out the trailer. It appears that and has been backed up by an employee there that the photos that I looked at where not from a trailer that was located on the lot. I let them know that I was going to be there as soon as arrived at DFW Airport. I also called them to let them know my wife and I were on our way and I was told that it would be there. When we arrived our sales person was not there nor was the trailer. This transaction seemed odd and got worse. I was told that it would be there by Sunday and again the trailer was not there. These people have gone out of their way to lie and now they are not giving us our money back and I was informed today that if I want to speak to them any further about this I will need to get an attorney. Is there anyone else that would be willing to file a class action law suit against Ultimate RV? read more
