From Aaron Vogt to Alexandra Jones and on the service side with Sara Shipman and service advisor Jeremy - this group is 'team consumer' and puts effort into communication and high-quality work. Special shout out to Sara Shipman - she is the real deal. A genuine advocate for quality work outcomes and a fierce advocate with her dealer and parts network to make things happen and happen on time. Sara is a big reason we continue to bring business to Vogt.     This is a DISHONEST and poorly run business and we do not recommended them for purchasing or…read moreservicing an Airstream. We had previously used them for years, and had been satisfied. Then upon returning a few years later, we realized their best, long time mechanic was gone and there was a new manager (the son in law). He is extremely detrimental to the business and they now have zero accountability, zero ethics and they will charge much more than other shops charge. After being told it would take 5 days to service the Airstream, we waited 3 weeks. We paid a fortune to have our Airstream serviced and then drove several hours to our campsite. When we arrived, we realized a problem that was supposed to have been repaired, still existed. We had to drive to another shop and they told us the repairs were never made and the dust and the dirt on the parts had never been disturbed and obviously the work was never completed, or even attempted. We showed them our bill from Airstream DFW and they couldn't believe what we had been charged. They then proceeded to check the other items that had supposedly been "serviced" and found more issues. The filters had not been replaced as stated and they actually damaged a door. The list goes on. We also asked them check something else that Airstream of DFW said we needed to replace, that we chose to wait to do at a later time. It would have cost almost $5,000. The second repair shop said there was absolutely no need to replace those parts, they were in like-new condition. We were disappointed even further when we returned to Airstream of DFW and the "manager" stated it was just oversight, probably because they were so busy. He made excuses and when he walked away, one of the mechanics approached us and apologized. We will never return and the business owner needs to understand the son in law knows very little about Airstreams. He absolutely should not play a vital role in this business. And you can't be dishonest and expect to keep loyal customers. We have since found a new repair/service shop in North Texas that is honest and does exceptional work on Airstreams at a reasonable cost. The owner of the shop said he has a steady stream of new customers that have similar stories about Airstream of DFW.

Don't waste your time if you need it fixed correctly.

    I have had a total of four trailers, (my last 2 from Trailers Plus) I have a 6x12 random box…read moretrailer, my 3 leaf spring broke (current trailer is 7 yrs old) I have never had to replace a leaf spring on my past trailers. So I bought 2 springs (Trailer Plus said they didn't have any in stock and it would take a couple of weeks to get them) after bringing it in expecting a break on installing the springs and telling them they were bad. I was informed I was over weight, I told them i was not, total weight was 5,000 (each spring had a weight of 2500 lbs, totaling $5,000. They quoted me $350 labor to put on springs. So I bought a 2nd spring and took it to them on a Tues . They informed me that their tractor (Kabota) could not lift the trailer and that I had over 5,000 lbs in the trailer, I assured them it was around 2,000. They said no way and they didn't want to assume liability because I was over weight and for me to take it to some one else and I did. I took it across the Hwy to C&S Trailer and they installed them for $125.00 and it was ready in 2 hours ( not 2 days Trailer Plus quoted me. The next day I took my trailer to a weight station, 1900 lbs of weight in my trailer. I took the paper work to them and showed them, then they started to inform me the weight was disproportionate, I told them that in the beginning. When I purchased the trailer I took it back for a warranty check to replace a light and something else. They gave me an estimate of work that needed to be done totaling $2500 ( new brakes, all new wheel bearings and a bent axle. I told them if I need all that work done on a year old trailer, then it was a piece of crap. I can agree they were the best price, but u pay for what u get a piece of crap.
