I have had Blue Moon RV replace our ladder on our camper, winterize and do other repairs to our RVs. I highly recommend them as they have their service technicians train at the RV manufacturer's location and not "wing it" with repairs. They know what they are doing. read more

While we haven't had to use full blown services, we did have our first experience with needing to have someone else look over our camper. With all the horror stories you hear about rv servicing issues, it can be nerve racking to have anything done. We met the owner Abby and her service manager Adrian. They were personable, professional, and fast! Which when you are promised something when you call(which I did like a month ago) and then you arrive and they hold true to their commitment, it's a relief! Our bus had several issues and all took a lot longer than we thought and, with no estimate in advance, the cost was much higher than we thought it would be. They charged 2 hours labor to try to find the hvac issue and couldn't find it but still charged us $400. We found a mobile mechanic who found the issue in 15 minutes, fixed it in less than 30 minutes and charged 1/2 the hourly rate. So we will probably not be going back to Blue Moon. read more

These guys are my absolute favorites. Joshua - the service manager - was a total sweetheart and managed all of our concerns. Because we had animals, we were high maintenance clients, and they went above and beyond for us! Jeff fixed our generator problem that three other RV technicians in 3 different states couldn't help us with. I'm convinced that Jeff and Joshua are angels and no one can convince me otherwise! I had an electrical issue with our 6 month old trailer. We had a strong burning plastic smell in kitchen area and thought it was a GFIC outlet. Called Blue Moon and tech "Nick" responded the next morning as promised. Nick was on time, friendly and knew what he was doing. Nick took the time to look at other possible spots after not finding any problems with the outlet we thought was the issue. The problem turned out to be a short on a wire of our water heater in its outside compartment. All charges were explained to me during my initial call so there were no surprises and Nick explained everything he was doing so I understood. Being a full time rv'er it's fantastic to find good service. I would not hesitate to call Blue Moon the next time I'm in need of rv work. read more

Makes you sign on Robert's cellphone that I agree to $100 and $175/hour, thinking the $100 was part of the first 2 hours. Per Abbey in office $100 is for BEING mobile service, plus $2.00 for mileage, $577 for cleaning out dirt dobbers, testing propane, and electrical, talking and texting on his phone, oh and here's the kicker, charged me $52.50 for 5 minutes or less to hookup my insulated water hose, but not include the attachment heat strip at Rv, left it dangling. Sold me dirt dobbers screen $41.14, told me how to put it on. $28 for parts and supplies which was bubble spray to see if any propane leaks!! Really!!Never will I use them again!! Thank goodness I was there to hold furnace in place and run for his tools, and kind enough to pay for his texting and phone calls. Wow! Ridiculous The furnace NEVER WORKED!! After talking with my husband the issue was the tech said the voltage drop to the units on the small phone line type cable was the problem. He verified both with Dometic and the builder of our RV. LUXE. He spent time wiring when it was not needed. My husband verified the voltage and there was no drop except .3 volts. So we paid for this. Then he left his screw driver in the unit and when he turned it on it destroyed the fan cage. He said humm never saw that. So then I had no unit. Just admit the mistake and I would have said things happen. Just dont charge me for the time. When the repair is more than a new blizzard AC Heat Pump then there is a problem. I have been RVing for 20 years and can fix anything. Just figured hey under warranty let them do it. Not again. Also the board was the wrong revision he left. I had to send back to dometic for replacement. 100.00 and a little work. All done. Just keep in mind. These repair shops have you sign the POS device and agree to pay for the time. There are many good small company repair techs that are good. This tech had never seen a 190k Luxe. read more

We have been so happy to have Blue Moon RV work on our Entegra Anthem! We had multiple items addressed which were all done with great attention to detail. They were able to assist with us getting exterior body work which was also a huge help and also very great work! On two occasions now we have had some needs while traveling. Outstanding service!! Had the AC go out on the RV. After the dealer said we couldn't get in for 2 months, I called Dometic and they suggested I call Blue Moon. They said they were really busy, but could set an appointment for 3 weeks out. Appointment day, I took the RV in about 8:30am, and they called around 9am and said the AC was bad and needed to be replaced. They had a brand new unit and got approval from Dometic to replace it. They called back at 11am and said it was ready to go. They also fixed some problems that the manufacturer had overlooked (there was a $75 charge for that, but Forest River will reimburse). The AC is working better than it ever has!! Very happy with the fast service. I even asked for a company for an extended warranty that Blue Moon services. I will DEFINITELY make them our choice of service centers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

My name is Cody Williams. I spent over 30 probation closer to 40 k with blue moon. They r absolutely the worst rv repair shop I have ever been to!! Make a long story short they parked it out back with no electric. I asked them to get it running so I could pick it up. They refused. I had to pay a friend to put two new batteries and diesel in it to move it. I've been a full timer for 15 years. Never have I been treated like this. I wasn't asking them to do one thing that I wasn't willing to pay for. Never , never consider going there at a rate of 175 a hr. A trained monkey would do a better job!! read more

We have been using Blue Moon RV Repair for over 15 years. We have owned 6 RV's as well as a mobile dog grooming van that Blue Moon has serviced for us. ALWAYS incredible GOOD service! The best part is that they know how to fix RV stuff! They do not stand there scratching their heads trying to figure it out! They actually know what they're doing. We've had many RV mobile repair guys who didn't have a clue how to fix our issue. That has never happened with Blue Moon. If you need it fixed, Blue Moon is the way to go! They're not the cheapest place to go, only the best value for the money. read more

After calling 4 times in 3 days for service to my A/C in my 5th wheel, I finally gave up. No one has bothered to call me back. If you can't even return a call, i would be skeptical that you could do or follow up with any repairs. I won't be making a 5th call. read more

This place had a great start to our experience. Seemed like a genuine family owned business. But after they not only NO SHOWED us to pick up our RV they lied and tried to say they were there and they were not! We had to pay for 2 nights in a hotel over the weekend because they were not there to get our RV back. We called all of their phone numbers and no call back. (Even after we scheduled to be there Saturday afternoon with them!) The trailer hitch was broken and they were not sorry about the situation! Full of excuses! Make sure you don't use the mobile service. Charge is crazy expensive. They will not work with you. Asked them to hold my check for two days since the charge was extremely expensive. Nope. Talk about highway robbery. Was charged 200$ to diagnose the problem with our washing machine, 210$ for the faulty part (later found out this part is 79$). Part needed to be ordered had it shipped upon returning to the area called to have the part installed. Tech came out to install took about 10 minutes and did not fix the problem. He made some phone calls and determined it was the control board. I gave him the information for our extended warranty after another 30 minutes on the phone he came in to tell me it was going to be 1100$ to replace the control board of which I was responsible for $400.00 because the extended warranty only covered 90$ per hour and they charge 140$ plus the 75$ trip charge each time they come out. Mind you I could purchase a brand new washing machine for 800$. Come to find out he never called the splendide company for diagnostic procedures because had he they would have given him a simple process to determine if in fact the door switch was bad the first time saving me 210$ for a part I didn't need. Here I sit with a washing machine that does not work with a new door switch and an additional charge of $215.00 to install the brand new door switch $625.00 mistake! read more

This company is a rip off ! I had a problem with the Onan generator in my R.V and searched for a reputable company to repair it asap . I usually do business at Cummings Fort worth but do to a trip I had planned they couldn't fix my problem in time . I called Blue moon and they told me they could have it fixed within a couple days . I dropped the R.V off and they called me a day later telling me it was going to be $2500 to fix a broken belt . I told them I would need to call them back . I hung the phone up and called Cummings to verify that was what they would charge for a broken belt . They told me that a broken belt would cost about 700-800 dollars including removing the gen set and reinstalling it . I called blue moon back and explained what I just found out . He gave the phone to his boss and they told me that $2500 was a worse case scenario . He said when the belt breaks it can cause other items to break . That made sense to me so I went ahead and authorized them to remove the generator and tell me what was exactly wrong with it . They charged me 2 hours to remove the generator ! They also called me 20 minutes after I authorized the removal explaining that they removed the generator and they wouldn't have time to look at it for 2 weeks !!! . I told him I would come up there and pay the bill and load the gen set in the back of my truck . I am now $300 dollars in hole with blue moon with a generator in the back of my truck . I drove over to Cummings and dropped it off . After they diagnosed the gen set they called me and said the belt was in fact not broken but had a broken coupler. They also mentioned they found a small oil leak . They recommended replacing the belt since they were already in the area . They game me a quote for 1300 for replacing the belt , coupler, fixing the oil leak and including all the maintenance items . As far as I'm concerned Blue Moon didn't do anything but charge me $300 to remove the generator . If they would have told me that after they removed the gen set they wouldn't be able to look at it for 2 weeks then I would have never authorized removing it . I called Blue Moon after I authorized Cummings to fix it explaining that I didn't think it was right what they did and all he said was that they wouldn't refund anything and he has 1500 happy customers . That's just BS . They wasted my time and my money . Don't ever ever take your vehicle here . This is the first time I have ever wrote a review on yelp . I was seriously taken advantage of . read more
