This is my 2nd review to update that I still have gotten zero help from this store or customer service. After nearly a month of trying to get help, I was told I would be reversed for the double charge (this transaction was nearly $200) and to wait 10-14 days. We have surpassed the days and customer service refuses to respond to any emails. I am extremely disappointed and I hate to have to leave another negative review but they refuse to help me otherwise and I'm hoping this will cause someone to help me. P.S. I am a super busy mom of three littles and I don't have a ton of time to do my hair. I gave her creative freedom for a low maintenance color and cut, on VERY (7+ month) outgrown hair. Definitely better and friendlier service here compared to the mall Sephora. You actually get greeted here and employees on the floor will ask if you need help finding things. I like that they have other bath and body items here, not just makeup. It's fun to browse and smell all the yummy things, but was a little disappointed that they ran out of birthday gifts for the month not even halfway through the month. You are able to contact customer service to request it to be mailed directly to you, FYI. New tip we learned from our cashier! read more

I came to get my daughter who is 11 just like 3 blonde highlights in her hair for pictures, I was already apprehensive is dying her hair at a young age but I thought just a few highlights wouldn't hurt. We went in to see a gentleman. I'm not sure his name, but he said we could do it by the time he was done my daughters hair with Wheatley, blonde or full entire head, and her hair is dark brown not to mention I was also going to get her a haircut, but just dying her hair alone took almost 4 hours! Booked a Cut and Color appointment online. Checked in at the desk and was told to wait a couple of minutes. I waited over half an hour, thought maybe she is just running behind on the previous client, I was then approached by someone else to look up my appointment details only to find out the stylist isn't even in today. 1. I just had the WORST customer service experience of the decade! I will NOT be stepping foot in this Temecula Ulta, possibly any other location for that matter EVER AGAIN! The condescending, rude, and arrogant attitude from their management team was the biggest joke I've ever experienced. The so called service Manager CORY MADRID who continually mocked me, grind, smirked and rolled his eyes at me while I expressed my dissatisfaction gave me his card, after I asked for his name. The mistakes started on Tuesday 11/1 when I self scheduled my brow wax online. I showed up and they said there was a mistake with their system as they are getting a software update, that the Benefit employee was out until Thursday, today 11/3 The employee apologized on Tuesday for their system error, offered to reschedule me and I accept. Before I left she handed me a 30% off service card for my inconvenience, I actually was surprised she offered it as I wasn't going to ask for anything. I thanked her and left. But today was just an effin joke. I've known most customer service is out the door, so I don't expect much or get upset about it anymore unless they go out of their way like ALEXA and CORY did. Long story short they wouldn't honor the 30%- cause apparently they keep expired coupons in the back to hand out, that also exclude BENEFIT! My fault for not looking at this on Tuesday. I truly hope management sees this review. I was helped today by Erin to help me color match. I am not good at doing my make up and I get incredibly intimidated whenever I go into any Ulta because the employees seem very judgmental over my lack of knowledge of beauty products but Erin was the kindest person I have spoken to at any beauty store! He spent his time talking to me about the products he recommended. He did not rush me or himself and tried different shades to make sure he helped me pick the perfect match foundation. Use the ship to store feature for the first time and has my husband pickup. He was given an open and used product without a cap. He didn't know any better so came home with it and had to take it back and stand in line during the holidays. The went through to look for another one "didn't know how it happened" and then had to go to the back because all the ones on the floor were open and used. Didn't offer a discount or even a coupon for the future. It just bothers me that an associate would choose a used item to put in a bag and that he had to drive back and forth to replace it. I went in really sad because I had just gotten a haircut and she had cut it shorter than I wanted and I had this appointment scheduled to get my hair styled for a maternity photoshoot and I always envisioned my long hair. This Ulta location is great. They usually have the products pretty well stocked and the line moves quickly. I want to especially give a shout out to a lady named Nicole that works at this location. Both times I have been here, I have watched her interactions with the customers approaching the register. i actually thought she was the manager! Even at the cash wrap, she is upselling ( genuinely, without being pushy) because she has a great knowledge of many products including skin care. I saw several customers buy additional purchases that she recommended. Her customer service is impeccable and she has an upbeat personality. Today I went in this location again and witnessed the same service as last time. I got up to the cash wrap and I told her how I witnessed some great customer service the times I had been in the store. I was a skin care and makeup consultant for over 25 years and back in the day we were REQUIRED to have five star customer service or we would lose our jobs and did not belong in the business if we weren't willing to go the extra mile. Things have DRASTICALLY changed and employees can act however they wish with no consequences in many cases, and great customer service is a rarity. I want to say that Nicole demonstrates all of the great qualities that any employer would love to have as an addition to their team and it is truly a rare find and a reason i will keep going back to this location. read more

I was excited about the Temecula Ulta because the Sephora is a pain to get to because it's so tucked away in the mall. Never. again. will. i. go. here. Messy, dirty, all the products in the wrong boxes, useless employees with attitude, overall dirty building and floors. Completely unsanitary, you would have to be insane to get your brows done at the joke of a Benefit Brow Bar. I tried to thank the employer at the register for working during the crazy holiday season and was met with scoffs. Above all, the prices here are the same as Sephora yet the products are out of stock, disorganized, and some even tampered. Save your time and money.
