PROSPER, TX Location: A friend's daughter recommended this place and I was already following Jayde on Instagram. An assistant comes over to ask me what I wanted as a pre-consult and I showed examples. Told me Jayde was running behind which was fine but was about 20-30 mins late. Then another girl came over and started asking me what I wanted, apparently another assistant of Jayde's (no one introduces themselves either). So I repeat myself yet again. Finally Jayde comes over (only knew it was her because of insta), asks me a summed of version of what I wanted. After she started coloring my hair, I began to felt that things were being rushed. She was whipping through my hair pretty quickly. Then asked for another girl to come help. And after more time passed, asked ANOTHER person. So I had six hands in my hair at once. And continued to feel that they were just rushing and trying to get me out of there as fast as possible. Granted they were nice (still no idea who's who), but it felt very awkward and like my being there was inconveniencing them. I asked for a slight balayage with my color block, showed pictures and definitely left not balayaged. The blonde in my money piece/color block is just not great. We were going for a natural blonde but parts are light orange. And very uneven. My right side part is darker than my left side but just a chunck. After Jayde put blonde in my hair, I didn't see her again after that. A completely different woman cut my hair who also seemed very rushed and just chopped away as fast as possible. Asking me how I liked it before checking her own work. I'm trusting her as a professional to do it right and asking me if I liked it after cutting both sides and leaving one completely uneven is just disappointing. I didn't have the energy anymore to ask them to fix it when they already made a poor attempt to do so. I know sometimes going blonde can take a few sessions but no one even bothered to explain their struggle or even attempt to mention that. And I already had color lock so most was already blonde. It was just a very unpleasant, unprofessional experience. Jayde was managing the salon but also trying to do hair and it's obviously too much multitasking for her. No effort to listen and understand her clients and respect their time there. It's a beautiful salon but I think they would really thrive if they took their time, listened to their clients, and made an effort to make their clients feel at home. First let me say that Heather did an awesome job with my haircut! HOWEVER, despite double-checking that masks are REQUIRED when making my appointment AND receiving a text confirming my appointment and stating that masks are required, I counted EIGHT people within my line of sight as I sat in the chair getting my haircut who were NOT wearing masks, both sitting AND walking around, including an employee who approached Heather while she was with me to ask her a question! I am in a high-risk category (over 60 yo with auto-immune issues) and have been meticulously careful about where I go and checking mask regulations ahead of time. This was my first haircut since March. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of my cut when I noticed all those without masks, or I would have left. As an owner, you may not want to alienate customers who think they're exercising their rights when they fail to wear masks, but please be upfront and let potential customers (who may be high-risk or just do care about protecting themselves and others) know that you DON'T ENFORCE YOUR MASK POLICY. So while Heather was wonderful and did an excellent job, I'm disappointed that Bella Allure doesn't enforce a mask policy and don't know that I'd feel comfortable going back while we're still in the midst of this pandemic. read more

I have never written a review on here before, but felt compelled to do so as this situation has been handled extremely poorly. I had started going to this salon in September 2023 after a recent move. My first two visits were for toner and a root touch, and the services had gone well. I had previously had my hair extensions taken out this summer to improve my scalp health before I started going to this salon. I contemplated putting them back in and decided to go for it on the third visit in November 2023, but was very clear about the integrity of my scalp health being the first priority. Since I was already a customer, Samantha stated I could use the extensions I had purchased before I had moved; however, when I brought them in, I was told I couldn't use them so had to purchase a whole new set of extensions. Had I known this before getting to the salon that day, I would not have gone here for this service (first red flag). Throughout the service, I had three different people working on my hair (second red flag). The next few days following having my extensions applied, I felt significant pressure on my head. I was out of town that weekend, and on the fourth day after having the install, I had my hair blown out by the hair stylist who did my extensions when I lived at my previous location and she noticed the entire line along the install on my scalp was red and I was developing a sore on the side of my head (third red flag). She also noted the lines were NOT clean (see pic below), and this can create a lot of issues. Of course I had to remove them due to the pain and fear of further damage, which was extremely frustrating! When I returned home from my trip, I sent several messages and called the salon, but have not received a call or fitting response to repair the situation as I am now terrified to get my extensions done here. It has now been over a month (fourth red flag). What a waste of well over a thousand dollars! Definitely avoid getting your extensions done here if you care about your scalp health as this salon is unresponsive and does NOT prioritize quality work, customer service, and integrity. read more

This year I went there to get a haircut and it's been a very long time especially with the increase in prices. They're absolutely ridiculous. The haircut they cost $70 which I think is a little expensive in the past I have went there many times and they have always been great. My daughter's hair was damaged by a previous person and they fixed it. Yes it cost over $1000 within a year to get her hair back to normal and they did an awesome job however, this year I was completely disappointed. I went there. I know the name of the person who did my hair, but I will not share it on Yelp. I was very disappointed. I asked for long bears, and I asked for bangs because my hair has grown out tremendously when I got home. I had no layers. It was basically like a trim, and then my bangs were still super long, which I really wanted bangs this year. I did call back to let them know that I was unhappy with what I left with especially after paying $17 and a tip but I never got a phone call back so I just forgot about it months later I still have long hair no bangs and whispers off to the side. The lady kept insisting on whispers I did not want whispers off to the right I wanted bangs and my layers were basically like I said a trim so now I'm very confused on where to go because I really don't want to go back and spend another $70 for a basic haircut and blowout. I would still recommend this place but be very specific on what you want and don't leave there until you get what you want, very disappointed this year. Maybe next year I'll try them again. Great hairstylists! I have gone to several stylists over the last few years and all do excellent work. To name a few, Courtney, Kassidy and most recently, Bree. The hair color you choose is kept in their records and always recreated to perfection each time! They also have a wonderful boutique with excellent quality items "without" the usual higher Nordstrom prices. I have found unique pieces over the years for gifts (and me!). So happy to have found this salon in Temecula for my blonde highlights. Also, Kellie for waxing has a delicate touch as I never knew it could be done somewhat pain free! After losing my hair stylist of 15 years and moving out of state, I have had my fair share of horror stories. I called/wrote many "Top Rated" Salons from the area and did not get a very good feeling from any of them... either they had no availability or just became very aggressive about booking an appointment because the spot that they had available would only last five minutes... not giving me a very warm feeling. And just as I was about to cave, Bella Allure Salon replied back. Within minutes I had an appointment booked the very next day. I had discussed with the shop owner that I was very hesitant, described my past experiences and she was so sweet and kind. She reassured me that I would be in excellent hands, and oh my lanta was I! It sucks I even have to write this!! This has nothing to do with the services I've received but more so the customer service. I'd like to mention I've never left Bella allure and not liked my hair. This situation has occurred twice now. The first time I was scheduled to do an extension install, cut, and color. The young man at the front desk booked my appointment for 1pm on a Saturday in June, which didn't seem right as this service would take a while and they close at 4, but I trusted them and didn't ask questions. Well come the day of my appointment and I was not booked for an extension install and just a color and a cut so they had me come in earlier to do it. This day was not as much of an inconvenience as I had the capacity to drop what I was doing and get over there as soon as possible. Andrea took care of me and did an amazing job. I had made an appointment for an extension install, cut, and color for todays date 10/7 a couple weeks ago. The young man scheduled me for 12 o'clock and this time I was more aware of the last situation and it didn't seem right. So I called again a few days later and spoke to a girl who I verified what I was doing and reassured me there would be time. So here's the day of my appointment and I am at my daughters softball game and what do you know, cut and color is not on my booked services and they ask me to come in at 11:30 am if I wanted to be able to get everything I wanted done. I rushed and left my daughters softball game early MISSED her getting her first "Player of the Game" award. Get to the salon and I forgot to bring my wefts to be installed. This is on me, however I am in rush mode. So I had to reschedule again, but honestly due to this being the second time this happening I decided to go to a different salon. Some may say that I should've just rescheduled so I didn't have to rush, but I am a mom of 3 young children. 4, 2, and a newborn. I don't get time to myself often nor do I have the resources for childcare often so I REALLY needed this appointment to work out. I was so nervous to try a new stylist. I am happy to say that my experience was positive, and I am very pleased with Bree's cut. Whew!!! To play it safe, I asked Bree to follow the style of my last cut. I give Bree a lot of credit for figuring out how to do this, considering my hair so over grown. She asked a lot of questions and offered suggestions. She took the time to make sure I was ok with what she was doing. Again, I am very pleased with the result! Geo, Bree's assistant, gave a fabulous wash and head massage. They have nice, comfy shampoo chairs, too. The shop is really nice, with a little boutique with clothes, jewelry, handbags, etc. Checking in on Yelp, I received a 25% discount as a first time customer. There is also a Yelp offer of a free deep conditioning treatment. I was told that the shop's intent was to offer either one or the other. She made my hair look amazing - my husband said I looked younger (haha) and the picture she took of me and my new hair (with their awesome selfie light) got way more likes than usual on my Instagram! AND one of my favorite parts of getting my hair done is getting my hair washed (you know it's yours too!) and she didn't disappoint there either! She gave a great scalp massage and their chairs for the wash are pretty comfortable too. Nicole Reynolds is a magician. I had a consultation with her regarding types of extensions, and we decided hand tied wefts would be best for my thin, fine hair. She even called over collegues and showed me theirs to help me make my decision, and took my lifestyle and maintenance level into consideration every step of the way. After all was done, she gave me her number to follow up with any questions, and had been so helpful!! I also purchased a new shampoo and conditioner (which I usually avoid doing, but I trusted her to give it a try!) and I love the improvement. My trust was not in vain! She made me feel better both inside and out, and the confidence I felt leaving the salon is indescribable. When you can't grow your hair to save your life, it wears on your emotions. She helped me feel pretty, and I'm not self-conscious of my hair and appearance anymore. That is worth so much to me! I've never felt so comfortable in extensions. As someone with thin/fine hair, it is so important for me to have my extensions blend in. Most are visible with the wind or when my hair is back (also important in my career as a dental hygienist to have my hair up). I've had i-tips, which I loved (and don't get me wrong, the stylist was amazing also!), but for my hair type and lower maintenence preference they proved to be too much and I had to remove them (*tear*) These are barely delectable, and I love them for a few reasons: 1. There is only one row sandwiched between my top and bottom layers of hair, instead of beads or tape all over the place. And you wouldn't believe the magic 1 row can do!!! Nicole placed them perfectly around my head- they feel light and comfortable! Never thought I would say that! 2. Less attachment points = less surface area = less hair used = less noticeable. Which also means less damage... yes please! 3. The color match Nicole blended them so perfectly, I didn't even need to tone my current color. One of my biggest fears is noticing the difference between my own hair and the extensions in natural light. She erased that fear, and I've had sooo many compliments on how well it matches! 4. The handtied weft seam is thin. It is so small. You have to dig to find it- even in my thin mane. 5. Can we just take a moment to appreciate the speed at which Nicole works. So fast! While maintaining detail and excellence. She's a total star. Overall- I love Bella, and I love my stylist. They all help each other out and they're all so nice. The salon is pretty, and you leave feeling like an improved version of yourself!! Their merch is so cute too. I highly recommend Bella Allure for anyone looking for a great salon that makes you feel comfortable, welcome, educated and beautiful! Honestly, I've never really found my "dream" salon and I've only been to Bella Allure a good few times but today was really sealed the deal for me. Every interaction and person I've ever met at the salon has always treated me so kindly and so sweet that I always find myself coming back. Although I can't say I go get my hair cut or trimmed as often as it's recommended, walking out of that salon always makes me feel 100% more confidence with how healthy my hair feels and looks every time. Today particularly, I had a hair appointment and I left feeling not as happy with my haircut as I normally do but I just didn't want to make a big deal of it. Everyone was so nice that I felt guilty for even complaining. I ended up contacting the salon a few hours later and they did not hesitate to take me right back in that same afternoon to make sure I was actually genuinely happy with my final results. No one made me feel bad for coming back or criticized me for not saying something before I left the first time, everyone was genuinely so happy to help and I left the salon feeling so content with my haircut and the service. Angela was so sweet and if such an amazing owner, same with everyone else in the salon. I cannot recommend this salon enough, honestly. Everyone should give them a try at least once. read more

They should just stick to one person ( your hairdresser) to do the whole job. Also I had to go back twice now with a fix it problem. It was hard to see the problem with the mirrors they have which reflect the lights in your face. My hairdresser made me feel bad this last time when I came back with my problem, not to mention when I came in some other girl just started trying to fix my hair issue. Dident even ask me if it was ok and I had to say where is my gal?? My hairdresser seemed quite and upset about my 5 minute fix . I have since found someone elsewhere. read more

I love this salon. The atmosphere and people there are amazing. Angela always does a fantastic job. My hair looks great. She also made my 4 year olds dream of short hair happen without a meltdown. Plus, bonus, the boutique is gorgeous with some really cute clothes. read more

Sharing my Awful experience: put it on Temecula talk on Facebook. It was removed unbelievably!!!!!! It seems they filter everything there! I would say it was my first and for sure the last time wasting not only my money, but my time in here. Got an unprofessionally layered haircut by Andrea!!!!! Every single of my friends who saw me after that were asking who did that awful haircut for you ! The layers are uneven , slanting and inaccurate!!!! It is more like that my young girl did it at home!!!!!! The worst thing is that even if Alice( their manager) tried, could not fix it completely and I have to go with this hair for days and months till it's long enough to fix this!!!!! read more
