Stopped in to stock up on a few items and was so disappointed most of the items were out of stock. There were so many staff members wandering through the aisles and offering assistance, which was nice, but after awhile was tiresome, especially when I went to check out and the line was long and there was one register open. The workers here don't really know what deals are going on in the store. I asked one lady if there were more options other than the ones in a box and she was so rude. She kept yelling at me, she was rushing to talk to me, she did not understand what I was asking even though all I said was "is it just those products that work for the deal or are there more stuff". Don't bother using their curbside pick up. I went through the entire process of placing my order for curbside pick up, followed the instructions, and after waiting in my car for a good 10 minutes, I finally went inside to find out why no one brought my order out. I was told "sorry, there wasn't anyone here to bring your order out." That is simply not true as I saw at least two or three employees standing around not waiting on customers. In fact, the girl at the pick up kiosk could've taken the 30 seconds it would've taken to run my order out to me, as I was parked right outside the door. There's a reason people use curbside pick up. Clearly the employees at Ulta couldn't care less, as they'll just leave you sitting out there until you get so frustrated that you come into the store. Lousy service. read more

It's my friend's birthday next week. I don't have a gift yet. So because my friend is a makeup artist I went to this store. When I entered I felt cold because of the aircon and the atmosphere looked clean and neat. One of the staff accompanied me and asked what I was looking for. Because I don't know what kind of makeup is the best I ask her. I also said that my friend is an artist and the makeup that I wanted to buy was for her. She said that I'm lucky today because they have a discount if I bought a set of makeup. The price was expensive but because of a discount the price got low. So I bought it and the staff gave me a foundation for free and she said that I should keep it for myself. I can't wait to give it to my friends and I hope she will love it. I purchased 4 Joico products and asked the cashier if I could scan my coupon and she said, "no that's considered a salon item" and I just said ok and went on with my purchase. I decided to look further into what brands were excluded when I got home and to my surprise Joico is NOT one of them listed. The cashier was very nice to me, but she did not even try to scan the coupon to see if it would work, which it would have. I've held off writing this review for some weeks now, but Ive been disappointed, so now it's time to say something. I was getting my roots done at the Ulta salon, I was extremely over charged, my service was a huge disappointment, not completed and looked like a mess. The stylist and the manager at this Ulta location will say it's my fault because I left before the service was finished, however, I was being lied to, over charged, tricked, fooled and all those other unfortunate words that go along with that. When I had left the salon the stylist had not even properly rinsed out the bleach or what not from my hair, she and the manager purposely charged me for the "color correction" instead of "total blonde". The stylist made my roots neon yellow (I blonde very easily and have never been neon yellow ). They treated me as a joke because the stylist needed to "pay her mortgage". I get it covid put you out of work, but that doesn't mean you overcharge others. The total blonde service is 130$, the color correction they charged me for was 300$!!!!! And they only half way did my roots. Anyways, I didn't argue I knew it was a scam, I paid and left. I spent 5 mins crying and then went back into the salon. As I walked in the stylist, (some guy she had previously verbally dragged through the trash) who turned out to be the manager, and a bunch of employees were huddled over by the salon talking, the second I approached I could tell they were talking about me. I politely asked my stylist if we could chat, we did, it was useless.. So once again I left. Now this is where it gets even more outrageous and disrespectful. Hours go by and I'm still upset atleast my roots weren't neon yellow before my salon visit and at least I hadn't been treated like someone they could rob. Later that night before close I went to the salon to speak to the manager (at this moment I didn't know it was the guy mentioned earlier). He was so snobby and rude to me, he wouldn't even look at me when I was talking and got pretty loud with me, he's a bigger aggressive man, and I'm a passive soft woman. He kicked me out of the store and threatened to call some sort of security on me because I tried to talk to him. It's sad the way he treated a customer, a woman in "his" beauty store. I spent 300$ at the salon on something that should have cost 130$. I have attached pictures to prove a color correction was not needed and all that was needed were my roots. read more

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Went to get my makeup done for an event last week and the makeup artist seemed as if she did not have any experience at all. She was nice but her makeup skills were nowhere to be found. I informed her that my skin is on the dry side but proceeded to put very minimal moisturizer with the white disposable sponges that suck all moisture. My skin was still very dry and she saw me attempting to take a clump of moisturizer she left on my forehead and spreading it to my chin but did not give a care. She then went in with white eye concealer and it looked very patchy since she did not put any moisturizer around my eyes or eyelids. She then went in for a winged liner and it was the worst liner I have ever seen in my entire life. The eyeliner was very bumpy and the wing was rounded and one wing was at a 0 degree angle and the other wing was at a 45 degree angle. I had her re-do one of them but it was even worse. I then asked her to remove the liner, which she did and left black streaks next to my eyes. She then went in with foundation. She blended the foundation on my face for 5 seconds and was about to go in with bronzer until I stopped her and asked her for the sponge since she left the foundation on my face very streaky and unblended. As I was blending the foundation, it was peeling and flaking off my face and she blamed it on my at home skin routine even tho that has never happened to me before. I use moisturizer and toner twice a day, mind you. She then went to get my go-to concealer so that she can use that instead of the foundation that was peeling off. But at that point the concealer wasn't blending due to the amount of makeup remover solution left on my face. I ended up removing everything and asking her to leave to which she replied "that will be $45." This has been the worst experience of my life. My 8 year old sister does makeup better. You're better off doing your own makeup ladies. read more

This is about the benefit brow bar for eye brows. The lady was nice and she provided good service. I just did not like the way she does eye brows. Im trying to grow my eyebrows out, so i told her not to make them thinner, just clean them up. They came out really thin. I also asked for a tint and there was no difference after the tint. In my opinion this place is overly priced for what you get. I don't mind paying a higher price if it's worth it. I'm sorry I'm definitely not going back to this benefit brow. read more

A lot of the items aren't available for curbside pickup. There's no option to apply coupon either. I also don't understand why items that list "in store only " can't be available for curbside pickup. I'm not sure if it's just their website or the store doesn't carry the majority of these items. I guess that's the reason their sales continue to drop and this shouldn't be blamed solely on the fact the stores are closed due to Covid 19. read more
