I also love that the nail desk has a cell phone holder and a bag holder, which is such a beautiful personalized convenient touch! The foot spa options are amazing too. I especially loved the addition of the steaming machine; for me it really elevated the experience! They also offered complimentary water and snacks, which was such a nice touch that made me smile ! They have a masseuse on site Thursday through Sunday. I happened to come on a day he was there, and while I was getting my nails done, I treated myself to a 40-minute back massage with Michael for only $42. As a parent, anything that saves me time is a huge bonus, and this was such a convenient and relaxing experience. He truly has magical hands. He took his time and really focused on the areas where I had knots, which made the massage feel especially personalized a Overall, it was an amazing experience and such a great place to treat yourself.

I go to Jojo but have been to other ladies and all are equally talented, meticulous, perfectionists in their craft. It wasn't easy finding this place on Yelp bc it seems they had a different name not too long ago?…read moreThere aren't too many reviews and yet the customers when I arrived seemed to be long time so perhaps just followed a particular lady to this new place. So my experience overall was just odd. Luckily, I take everything with a grain of salt. I was in the area, and I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed. I knew Santorini's was across the street and I wanted to eat there (review for them is posted) Ok so I go into the wax room, lay down, and close my eyes. Open my eyes a little bit and there are 2 or 3 additional ladies in the room with me (employees) watching apparently a lesson in eyebrow waxing. Okay, the lady doing my brows "is a very good teacher" - her words. Go for it, girl. Despite this, I decide I want a mani. And then I decide I want a pedi also. So eyebrows done, I sit in the chair for my pedi. Basic stuff, no frills. The usual. It was 630 pm when I arrived and they closed at 730 so I wasn't trying to stay there all night. Plus, starving. Really nice girl but she scratched up the tops of my feet with the callous scrubber. Not sure why she did that. Didn't really notice til about an hour later. On to the mani. Very meticulous. I'm almost certain the ladies employed are fairly new to nails and salon business. Really sweet people. They just need some more experience.

I'm here for my monthly mani-pedi. I've been coming here…read moresince pre Covid, before they moved to this smaller location. It may be smaller, but the services remain large. Different technicians have serviced me, but mostly it's Linda who helps me. Of course there is a language barrier, but that doesn't stop the professionalism and care from shining through. This is a multi- faceted salon: hair, nails, eyebrows, lashes and I'm hoping they start doing facials. While I don't go there to get my hair styled or cut, I do see the ladies who walk out with a prideful swag, swinging their hair back and forth. Since I come regularly, Linda and staff know exactly why I'm there. No fuss. No muss. The price for a regular mani- pedi, for me, is $31-$35, maybe a little higher on the weekends. Of course, I tip. One caveat: since there is now one pedicure chair, it's best to make an appointment. GET HERE LADIES AND GENTLEMEN

Even though Christmas was only a week away, the store wasn't busy and so it was the ideal time for Sam ( the lovely associate who helped me) and I to be intentional about the items I was choosing. I expressed the purpose of the purchase and gave her some insight into each of the recipients and shared how I wanted to choose shades with names that matched their temperaments or roles. For an one educator whose son is both autistic and has Down syndrome we chose Heroine - a beautiful shade of purple, her favorite color. For another whose tech obsessed we chose a deep shade of purple called Cyber. For another who has a big personality we chose " Flat out fabulous" and another who always leave work late we chose " werk werk werk". Sam, thank you for taking the time to reply lean into what I needed and for being so patient while we found the ideal gifts. Your expertise is valued and your kindness made a difference. Shirley really should be the manager in this store, super nice girl made us feel very welcome in the store and happy - we had a great time. And the manager I don't know what's up with her, always with an angry face - rude - she is ridiculous! Will be back to see Shirley anytime! :D

BEST LASH STUDIO IN LONG ISLAND !…read more Bestest. Hands down! I found them through Instagram. I've had several experiences with other lash boutiques (including amazing lash studio) but this place is everything I've been looking for, and I am so happy I've found them!!!!!!! Overall: my lashes stay on longer than 2 weeks. The lash styles are ALL customizable (other places normally have a few lash styles they are able to do) The staff is ALWAYS friendly and accommodating. The boutique itself is aesthetically pleasing (beautiful) I've had the pleasure of working with Caris for my last 3 sessions and she is a sweet heart! She makes me feel so comfortable and is always accommodating if I don't like a certain style and is ready to customize it to my liking. She's my favorite!!! They have parking in the back if that matters to some They also charge a $5 fee if you want to use your credit/debit to pay for your service but they have an ATM For use :)

North Babylon establishment which represents all your other locations of unprofessionalsm…read more Very unprofessional business. I'm a local and wanted to try a lash lift from this location. I called on Wednesday at 3pm for a next-day appointment, and they said only tomorrow 6:30pm is available which was Thursday. I took the appointment. When I showed up on Thursday at 6:30pm, the receptionist told me my appointment was "yesterday." wtf no, it was not. Then I see I was charged $45, I'm assuming it's the deposit. No one told me about a deposit being charged. They claim they don't charge you until the day of the appointment. Then they lied and said they called me. Like I don't have a call history on my phone. I never received a confirmation text and I did not receive a call. If you canceled my appointment to book some else that's messed up. I don't understand what games this location is playing but you lost a good paying customer. Then have the audacity to tell me book another day. No I can't I have a life and I work out of town. I only had this day available to try your services which now after this experience I don't want to anymore because I don't need to pay for a service then feel it will not happen on the day I'm available. I asked for a refund, and I'm still waiting for the "manager" to call me. This experience was unnecessarily stressful and annoying. I advise to everyone do not give your card information to this establishment! I took my kid into the place, and my kid complained about the odor of marijuana that came out of there. Instead of smoking and not paying attention to your future clients when booking, and messing up the schedule. You need to focus and be more professional and keep that smell out your establishment. This business has the audacity in not taking accountability of their actions. I don't recommend this place at all for their unprofessionalism and inexperience with customer service. Working in customers service is very sensitive and if you can handle it then this is not your line of work. Stop playing with people and their money! I already placed a refund on my bank account because like my daughter who's a 9 year old said " Mami I don't think their going to call you back" even she knows what's really up with this disrespectful establishment.

This time, she arrived with clean, blow-dried hair and clearly asked for only a haircut. At checkout, we were charged $85 for services we did not agree to, and the owner later said it was a "misunderstanding." This felt misleading and pressured. I do not recommend this salon.
