Hair salon service is amazing. Perfect color and cut every time. If you are looking to change up your look or refresh your current style, definitely make an appt. Would highly recommend.

I promised my daughter a trip to Ulta this Friday and I'm so glad I kept my word! She and I were randomly greeted by Bianca that helped us shop and even discover new beauty items. She took the time to thoroughly explain all of the products we were interest in. She helped me discover a beautiful Buxom nude lip gloss (White Russian). I appreciate her patience and expertise while helping me find my perfect shade to achieve the look I was going for. We sampled several fragrances as well, she even went Above and Beyond by searching in the back for a Clinique fragrance (My Happy Peony Picnic) from the back that I had favorited and was hoping to purchase on this particular shopping trip. My 12 daughter was thrilled that Bianca was able to knowledgeably talk makeup and even help her find a few chap stick and Hello Kitty items that were preteen suitable. The sales rep Bianca superseded any expectation I could have ever expected by making sure that we both were fully satisfied that day at the store. Ulta always carries a great price range of products from high end to drug store prices. The parking was a free lot right in front of the store, it was well left and very safe for shopping on a weekday after working hours.

I have followed my stylist, Lauren (LC) who is now at this ULTA location. LC does wonders for hair with haircut and color and trust her completely with my hair. I was in need of getting a touch up and wanted to change it up for the Spring/Summer by lightening up my balayage and base color and wala the final results in the picture. I truly trust my hair with LC and she does provide suggestions and different options with colors.

I'm a loyal Bravco customer...always buy all my hair products from them and have been extremely happy, although I do wish they would start taking credit cards one of these days! Today I passed by Ulta and did a little cheating on Bravco...I figured just a look around couldn't hurt. Right? I asked the smiling woman behind the counter if they sold my favorite (and way overpriced) shampoo Kerastase. "What's Kerastase?" she asks. And they call themselves a hair product store? Disappointed they don't sell Kerastase I still decided to take a look around...I noticed my favorite chi hair straightening products so another star for them. I was pretty impressed with the different hair and makeup products they sell, but I still prefer the intimate atmosphere and products that Bravco sells.

Preferred location of Chicago Local Media or Celebrities as they can easily drive to, free parking and quickly leave. Be on a lookout, YOU may run into someone familiar. ;-) CLEARANCE rack by the checkout register is my favorite here. I got a few very good products at half off. An extra unexpected expenses, but they were really really good, like LA ROCHE-POSAY EFFACLAR BB BLUR that worked on my summer oily skin when most primers fail, and a treat to experience ORLANDO PITA PLAY Flash Light Shine Boosting Spray and The Gloss Up. The wall of DRY SHAMPOO makes it easy to choose. Reassuring helpful STAFF manages to find you, even though I was buried, hiding behind products and trying to decide -- need, necessary + want (¬‿¬)

Angela is AMAZING she took my hair from a bad keratin job to healthy bouncy curls!! She was incredibly informative and I haven't seen my hair look like this since I was a little girl. See for yourself :)

I shop this store for all my beauty needs. If you need it, they probably have it! The girls on the floor can be helpful... but not always. My last experience was wonderful however! The girl working in the Channel area really helped me figure out exactly which products would work best for me. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Be aware that this store will push you to try different products, but if you buy something get home and hate it they let you bring it back! Even after you tried it! And you can get something you want if equal value. I love that they do this!! Because sometimes you can't tell how you feel about a makeup product for several days. I have only gotten a facial here once but they did a fantastic job! I have never had my hair done here and can't really speak to that. This location is smaller than the other one. Every sales associate asked if I needed help. Everyone was nice and the store was laid out nicely for a guy visiting ULTA. Had a manager ring me out. Very easy to sign up for the rewards card. Made my shopping easy and effortless. Thank y'all for great customer service. The variety of products is very good. Missed a little bit some MAC items and some more natural products such as some from NATURA brand, a Brazilian brand. Also, they have a salon in the back of the store. Very convenient!

I I have been here multiple times to get my hair done and they never disappoint. Today I received a full highlight, haircut, and deep conditioning treatment. My hair looks and feels amazing! The only downside is the haircut cost $55 and I only got a little trim. Next time, i'll get my haircut at a different facility and get my color done here.

My OPI no-chip manicure the DAY it was done. Will not be coming back.

This is a review for the salon. I get all of my beauty products from Ulta so I decided to try the salon. I called for an appointment for a no-chip manicure and they took me in right away. From beginning to end this appointment was disastrous. I will never return to an Ulta Salon. The manicurist was pleasant. This is not a review about her, but rather her technique and quality of the salon. First, a towel was laid on the table to begin the manicure. There was black hair all over the towel. It looked old and dirty. I kept my mouth shut because I did not want to start off on a bad note. The table was missing wheels and was wobbling. I could not event rest my hands on the table without it moving. She apologized however, ULTA, get a new table! It was so uncomfortable and awkward the entire time because it kept shifting and moving. The manicurist then started the process. She pushed my cuticles back but never trimmer them. I went for a manicure because my cuticles needed assistance. What she did, I could have done on my own. I then asked for my nails to be filed. Which she did, but there were 3 nails that I had to point out were very crooked when she was done. They were fixed when I brought it to her attention. After the cleaning process I was asked to go wash my hands. I was taken to a sink in the back next to the employee's coffee pot which had old, burnt coffee spilt all over the counter and a bag full of an employees lunch sitting on the counter as well. It was disgusting. When the painting started, I had to ask for another coat because the first 2 looked so spotty and uneven. To everything I asked, the manicurist obliged. However, I should have never had to ask for so many things. She missed spots in the side of my nails and started painting so far away from the cuticles it looks like I have a weeks worth of out growth the same day. At this point, I was so frustrated I just wanted to get out. When she finished painting, she never massaged my hands. Ok, so I asked for lotion because my hands were dry. She said they didn't have any lotion so instead she dabbed cuticle oil all over my hands and told me to rub it in. I was blown away. Now I have oil all over my hands which is going to get all over my clothes, jacket and purse. Horrible service, quality and unsanitary. I'm sorry to say I will Never return to an Ulta Salon. Very disappointed Ulta, I expected more and I wanted to like you!

Asked for a normal haircut with the sides clipped to a #3 and blended in on top. Walked out w/ this disaster.
    Dan G.

I have been to many other Ulta locations for walk in hair cuts. Obviously the quality of the hair cut varies with each stylist but I had never before had a disastrous result...until I went to this location and had a cut by a stylist named Missy. I came in with a FULL head of hair, and asked to have everything shortened up, with the sides shorter than the top and and the middle MILDLY longer. After futzing around with sheers on the side for 20 minutes, she asked if she should just use clippers, to which I said yes, and to start at a #3 guard. She then completely shaved the sides of my head to my own dismay, and then spent TWO HOURS trying to blend in everything else. Check out the pic I've posted to see how horrifying the result was. I had to consult my aunt in the suburbs to try and fix it. Maybe I'll just be making that suburb trip all the time now...

This is clearly not an issue with staff, but management who is trying to have minimal staff to save money. I'd highly encourage everyone to move their prescriptions to Amazon and have them delivered. What was once an incredibly frustrating experience 2-3 times a month is now something I no longer think about and is stress-free. Like many, I dread visiting…read morethe dentist for routine cleanings, but my experience here was stellar (and now, my teeth are too!). From start to finish, I felt taken care of by the entire team and was highly impressed by their warmth, transparency (re: insurance pricing), and keen insights on my dental health. It has taken me quite some time to reflect upon this before writing a review. The Chicago Dental…read moreStudio is a decent facility overall, but I could never in good conscience recommend seeking dental care here due to Dr. Bosworth. The first issue that occurred is when I had a dental procedure performed. After injecting lidocaine, it took some time for Dr. Bosworth to come back and check on me. During the beginning of the procedure, he left the room to see other patients and didn't return for almost an hour. At that point, the local anesthesia had worn off and I had to undergo another unnecessary painful injection. It is quite obvious that Dr. Bosworth was juggling multiple patients at one time. This seems to be to maximize profit rather than actually focusing on providing quality care to each individual at a time. This was a scheduled appointment and it is never acceptable for a patient to have a needle stuck in their mouth, and then be essentially ignored for an hour, and then have to be stuck again just due to the wait. The second and much more concerning issue was regarding a crown that was placed. I had a root canal performed years before. Dr. Bosworth placed a crown over this area. Several month's later, I started having pain. When I saw Dr. Bosworth, he assured me that could not be the case since I should have no sensation in the area with the nerve already removed. I mentioned this several additional times and each time Dr. Bosworth wrote me off and ignored my concerns. I came to find out that there may sometimes be accessory nerves that may remain after a root canal and could absolutely continue to cause pain. I mentioned this to Dr. Bosworth yet again and he essentially told me that this was not the case and that my pain was from something else. Fast forward to a year later and I saw a different dentist as the pain was getting worse. They performed imaging and confirmed I had an accessory nerve in place that was indeed infected. The infection was too significant and had been occurring for so long that they would not be able to drill through the crown and tooth to treat the infection. I ended up having to spend thousands of dollars and go through several painful procedures to have the tooth extracted, then months later have a post placed, and then ultimately have another crown placed. I was informed by my new care team that this all could have been avoided if the accessory nerve infection was treated initially. This is despite me laying out the exact diagnosis for Dr. Bosworth. It is concerning that he lacks this medical knowledge despite his training, and even more concerning that this is the case after his patient had handed him the exact diagnosis. The pain and cost that I sustained due to Dr. Bosoworth's negligence is something I will always regret. I should have never gone to this dentist. I can't change what happened, but I would like to warn anyone thinking of seeking dental care here.

She's the only practitioner I trust with my skin, and this visit was extra special because I had my first more advanced treatment: an Erbium Peel laser. Afterward, my skin looked like I had a mild sunburn and felt warm, but I was still comfortable enough to meet family for dinner. Jennifer explained exactly what to expect and how to care for my skin, and she was spot-on (as always). By the next morning, the redness was gone, and my skin felt tighter, smoother, and glowing. For someone like me with super sensitive skin, Jennifer always finds the perfect balance--pushing just enough for great results without overdoing it. This treatment was the ideal first step into something a little more intensive without jumping into Botox or injectables. If you haven't visited Lustre or booked a treatment with Jennifer yet, this is your sign. She's been doing this for years, continues to expand her knowledge, and is amazing at recommending the right products--favoring organic options while also understanding when active ingredients make sense.

I had been to several consultations before I met with her, but I knew she was the one within 30 seconds of meeting. She was very clear and reasonable about my anticipated results. She listened to what I wanted and clarified what was realistic. I appreciated her honesty and it gave me a better understanding of what to expect. I scheduled the surgery with her nurse, Katie, (who is also phenomenal) and saw Dr. Cobbins a few weeks later for my preoperative appointment. I genuinely felt she was as excited as I was. She was very clear about what to expect the day before surgery, day after surgery, and follow-up instructions. She answered every single question and was available by phone, if I had any additional questions after I left. The day of surgery, I felt incredibly supported by Dr. Cobbins and Katie who have excellent bedside manner. I remember waking up after surgery with Katie sitting by me and I felt so relieved. The receptionists even entertained my mom while she was waiting for me to be discharged and I appreciate the kindness. I saw both of them again a few days later and Dr. Cobbins even met me on the weekend (when their office is technically closed) to remove the drain. The results were nothing less than perfect. I was so pleased with their size and shape, plus the scarring seems really minimal. Dr. Cobbins has also continued to follow-up consistently and has been available for additional questions/concerns. I was naive at the time but I really wanted a little bit added to my bottom so I went in for a consult. I was also really skinny (like model skinny) so even then she told me oh yeah I've had patients your size or smaller do procedures by me, I wish she rejected me or at least did a less risky procedure since her skills didn't match the words I heard. My body was so perfect in every way before this procedure (just wanted a little boost on my bottom). I remember I said "I heard some peoples shoulders get bigger she was like "Oh no that's not true at all." She did Lipo to my stomach which barely had much fat, inner thighs, and back. Anyways 6 yrs later and I'm struggling with my body image. I've lost my confidence, my skinny bbl doesn't look great, can't find a solution because I have skin laxity on my back and stomach, scarring/tethering (again this is from the aggressive lipo she did and how she used the surgical tools), Lipo fibrosis on stomach and back and yes the upper back looks bigger. I followed all the instructions of wearing the compression garment and everything. The problem wasn't the aftercare instructions I perfectly followed, the problem was the poor surgical technique. She did aggressive lipo on me, took out too much fat because I was thin and ruined the look of my skin. I now have 2 rolls on my back that I never had before my procedure and I feel always bloated for some odd reason no matter what I eat healthy or not even though my diet didn't change. I only gained about 10 pounds (still at a weight women would love) but even with that if the surgical skills were good the body would grow out nice and even, it wouldn't look botched. I wish she rejected me and told me to come back in a year or 2 if I want something permanent after I try something temporary. I wish she told me thoroughly and openly what kind of problems can come up (this was only briefly discussed and none of the problems I have now were discussed as potential issues after surgery). I wish she gave me a temporary option or smaller procedure not as damaging as a first solution to see what it would look like. I didn't receive any other options. I think plastic surgeons (especially ones who've had botched outcomes from their work) need to give a couple options and really think about if the contouring will look nice with each option so the patient can have a good long term outcome and more people will trust them for procedures. Dr. Cobbins took away the most thing that made me confident back then and damaged my body. I am struggling in every way imaginable because of this procedure done by Dr. Lorri Cobbins. The most perfect parts of my body were ruined because of horrible surgical technique and now I am left grieving it. I struggle every day to look for a way to fix it and I'm too afraid to go to someone else that may further damage me. I don't take photos anymore like I used to, I don't try on clothes when I shop like I want to. I can't look at myself in the mirror the same way. Please if you want a better/different look try temporary cosmetic things first so they go away if you don't like them and you don't have to live with the permanent result of a botched procedure.
