At no time did anyone from Reliable Movers ask about our driveway or access to our house. We were told this only hours before we had to be out of our house for closing. I was able to offer a solution and get them up our driveway. The team worked diligently to move our belongings quickly. However, upon unpacking the truck at our new house we discovered damage to several pieces of furniture and a new TV. The owner admitted he didn't bring enough moving blankets to adequately protect all items. Additionally their truck was not adequate to fit all of our belongings requiring us to quickly arrange for overnight storage. Overall it was a bad experience and I would not recommend this business.

(they were now suppose to come until I was home later in the day from work). And let me tell you the things I caught on my security camera of him yelling in the yard on the phone to his partner. With my first move in 2020, there was a bit of a scheduling issue, causing the movers to arrive later than originally scheduled and with a van rather than a truck (I had been told that it would be a truck in order to fit all of my belongings into one trip). Therefore, it ended up taking two trips. However, the owner made things right by only charging me the original rate for one trip. Mistakes happen and I'm fine with it, as long as the company owns up to it and makes it right. And there were no similar issues with my second move in 2026. The guys had furniture wrap and blankets to protect my belongings. During both moves, I did not find anything that was damaged at all. What more can you ask for!? I highly recommend Man With a Van! In fact, I'm likely going to use them again soon to help with some items that I will need to move into storage.

They put the couch unwrapped in the truck next to my bike and it got chain oil all over the couch. They did hire a steam cleaner to come and clean my couch and got the stain out. Like I said they did get the job done, but I was not as happy with the service as I could have been considering the price was similar to others in the area. Hopefully this review will help them identify weaknesses and improve their service in the future. In general, I don't think I would let any mover disassemble and reassemble my furniture in the future. This is the second time I have used movers to do this and both times it was not done properly. Better to take the extra time to do it myself and know it will be done right.
