She has the patience of a saint and is outstanding in every way. Her assistant, Kelly, is excellent as well. She knows her job and does it so well. I am thankful for such great people at our Hamburg Weis Pharmacy. I will conlude by saying that Amy Breidigan, Front Desk Manager is just wonderful. Always helpful and with a smile on her face. The first prescription was an antibiotic, the second was migraine medication (and now my wife has a migraine without medication). I understand if you can't get medicine, but at least attempt to give us accurate timelines. Both times we were told to come back at a specific date/time only for it not to be ready - twice. We are currently waiting on a prescription that they were supposed to get clarity from the doctor but didn't. When the doctor called to clarify-- because they wouldn't call-- they wouldn't answer the phone. The doctor called multiple times without them answering. But, of course, it's everyone else's fault. Never theirs. We're currently waiting 32 minutes for a simple prescription; but, yeah, nothing is ever than simple when you have noncommunicative, combatative employees. Maybe Rite Aid has better customer service? I honestly don't know why we still go here.

I am so happy that I moved my prescriptions to the West Reading Drug Store. They always are on top…read moreof their game. I never have to wait long for my prescriptions and even if I have to wait there is so much to do on the Avenue that it isn't a big deal. I love the fact that they offer free delivery if needed. This is especially useful for the elderly and home bound. A service that only a local business can provide. With that being said , you have to visit the store. Whether it is for medicine or a greeting card, when you walk in you'll see it is a lot more. I love the unique items for sale, from wine bottle holders, to Grumpy Cat magnets, This is a great place to find a unique gift. I say check it out and if you are like me and love good service I suggest you leave the chain pharmacy and start using The West Reading Drug Store. It has been around for a long time serving this community and I hope it is here for even longer. Great local places are a treasure, just like this one.
