They had tons of fun fall activities, an enormous corn maze with fun clues and a bridge, a hay bale climbing tower, a tricycle track, hay rides, bouncy rubber horses for kids to ride on, a giant pool table with soccer balls to be kicked into the corner pockets, and lots more. They also had a lovely market where they had tons of pumpkin varieties, mums of all colors, what seemed like 100 flavors of whoopie pies, cider, and tons more. Awesome day of fun for everyone!

When I heard about RMFM, we took a drive to check it out on this beautiful weekend before Halloween. First off, when we arrived around 1 p.m., it was pretty empty. It picked up when we finally left around 3, but it still wasn't all that crowded compared to most places I've visited before. Second, their Robin Hood Maze and Barnyard Fun Area Activities is a good value in my opinion compared to others. Prices are 3 and under--free, ages 4-12--$7.00, and 13 and up--$9.50. Here's what you get: *Robin Hood Maze with activity book--there are stations throughout the maze to keep it fun and exciting. *Hayride *Trike Track--This might have been the favorite for my boys. The Pedal Karts were close behind but they had less bikes so you had to wait your turn if it was busy. *Pedal Karts *Rubber Ducky Races *Corn Hole *Campfire--not sure what the purpose of this is but it's still cool! Might be nice on a cool day but today was 70° so... *Corn Sandbox *Bouncy thingys--I don't know what they call them but the boys had a lot of fun fooling around. I think what impressed me the most was how unique all of these activities were. Even my 14-year-old son was having so much fun and my youngest son didn't want to leave. Before we left, we did buy a couple of pumpkins and some whoopie pies at the store. They have quite a variety of items. If you're looking for a quieter, less expensive place to take your kids to for the fall next season, then RMFM is it! You can thank me later.

The produce selection is unparalleled to any place in the area. We bought bags and bags of produce and made a caprese salad with orange and red tomatoes and basil from the farm. We grilled the veggies and had blueberry shortcake for dessert. They have shortcake and pie crusts next to the fruit - so smart!! Additionally they have homemade pretzels, pasta, pie crust, shortcake, dishcloths, pot holders, candles etc. They also sell plants - ferns, flowers, succulents etc. In the fall they will sell pumpkins and many varieties of apples. Everyone that works there is so kind and helpful. The prices are fantastic. Great selection, superb service and a fun place to visit. It's beautiful and quiet. We followed a couple signs and a hunch to take us to Sycamoe Spring Orchard, but it had been closed for almost an hour by 6PM-- but alas! The kind business owner cracked the door and asked if we could come back the next day (we couldn't, had to travel on), so he opened the doors for us and turned on the lights. While we were visiting in mid-July, the store featured locally grown fruit (peaches, apricots, plums, blueberries, cherries) and vegetables (green beans, corn). There were also jams, apple butter, marinades and salsas that the store owner told us him, his sister-in-law, and his sister made and sold. There were also homemade pies that his sister-in-law had baked from the fresh fruit. In fact, he gave us a small (individual serving) peach pie from the first peaches of the season as a thank-you for stopping in and taking so much interest in his store. It is a beautiful farm filled with trees, plants, succulents... anything you need for your flower/plant needs. But it is a secret gem that hides the most amazing sandwich shop in the area. It is filled with fresh bread, baked goods and most amazing pies, fresh fruit and vegetables. But all of it hides this amazing sandwich shop that has one of the best Philly Cheese Steaks.
