On Sunday, 2/8/26 during the extreme cold spell we experienced an issue with one of the units. Seemed that maybe Comfort Pro was having an issue for on-call tech. Tech showed up and checked our unit, advising that it was functioning properly and did readjust the gas valve, and departed. I had another HVAC company respond to check the unit. He said he smelled gas and found that gas line from gas valve to the line leading to the burners was leaking. I took picture of the fluid bubbling up after he sprayed it. Tech told me that the leak could have caused a terrible fire mishap, especially next to the burners. He corrected the issue and the furnace is presently back up to proper heating condition. He said the burners may not have been getting enough gas since it was leaking. We will be calling Comfort Pro on Monday! Should have techs better trained for these situations.

Guiwell Inc. is absolutely amazing! Our central air conditioning wasn't functioning correctly and I…read morewas told by one of the big HVAC companies in our area, who I had a service contract with for years, that the unit couldn't be filled with refrigerant and needed to be replaced. The sales guy from the company quoted me a price of $5000 and wanted to set the job up ASAP. Since Guiwell put in a water heater for me a few months ago, did a fantastic job and came in about $400 cheaper than anyone else I called, I decided to call them for an estimate on the AC unit. The owner, Mike, came out to my place quickly and informed me that the other HVAC company had lied to me and he was able to refill our current unit to keep my family comfortable while he gave me an estimate for the new job. Mike also took the time to explain how central AC actually works and informed me that I didn't need the high SEER rating unit that the other company quoted me for. Mike put together prices for me on 3 other units, a premium, middle of the road and economy model. I decided to go with the Heil unit, which was the middle model that Mike had selected. The purchase price of the unit and the install was $1300 less than the company I previously dealt with. He also helped me secure a special deal on financing with a low APR. Mike kept in touch with me after the financing went through, to make sure my old unit was working well until he could complete the install on the new unit. Mike and his team came out to complete the job approximately one week later and wrapped everything up in under 4 hours. Mike also took care of installing a thermostat for me and fixing a small plumbing issue that I had, both at no charge. Talk about customer service!! Overall, I am beyond satisfied with the service, quality and value I received from Guiwell Inc. and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC services!

However, I had my husband call them concerning our central air conditioner that wasn't working correctly. First off it took them about a week to just call us back. Then when they finally did call us back and finally got around to sending someone over to check it out all they did was add freon to the conditioner, charged $255.00 and told us we needed a new unit. We called several times after that and it took forever for them to get back to us. In the end we went to another company. We learned that when the furnace was put in two-years ago, the installer messed with the coil, which caused leaks. Long story short, we put in a new conditioner unit and they had to replace the coil which I had. I no longer would recommend this company as the larger they get the less customer concerned they get. They also need some more experienced installers and service people!
