We have been having problems accessing my brothers account so I took the POA form and my ID by the Elgin location to get assistance resolving the debit card problems and to add myself as a signer on the account. They declined to accept my POA form, which is perfectly legal. Signed by all parties and notarized. I took off work to take care of this today and had to travel to a different town because the closest location is 40 miles from my home. Now they're requiring me to go back to my brothers nursing home with a blank form in hand and a notary tagging along so I can completely redo what has already been done. I want to reiterate that I've already had need to use this form with other companies and had no problems. This bank is misnamed. In no way are they convenient.

Before, I had to wait in line, standing, waiting for the next available teller and now, if no one is waiting, a teller greets me and accompanies me to their individual office to execute my transactions. If there are customers before me, I just sign-in on the sign-in sheet and wait for the next available teller comfortably in the lobby where there are coffee, snacks and juices. Also with Shared Branching, at Texas DPS Credit Union, I can conduct transactions with my main Credit Union in California.

Supposed to be a full service bank, it really isn't…read more At this location, the staff are very friendly, who are very good at their jobs. My beef is with their Bill Pay system. The vendor they use for Bill Pay must have loved using the Pony Express. The vendor they use is not electronically connected to the "large" credit card company I use for my business expenses, therefore payment are made via US (Snail) Mail. I process my payment at the end of the month and my due date is the 16th of the following month. Every month, I sweat it out that the check, Frontier Bank sent, will arrive before my due date. Last month, Frontier Bank mailed a check on July 30th and was processed at my bank of August 15th! This issue has been going on for months and on September 30th, my accounts will be closed. My other bank, located in Austin and all over the US, has no issues with their Bill Pay system. Stay tuned to see if Frontier Bank really cares about customers and makes a change for the better.
