This is a small UFCU and can get really busy with the worst wait times. I understand this is an interactive branch and not a full one but geez! If you're not needing JUST the ATM skip this one altogether (no drive thru tellers) The parking lot sucks too! Its small, be careful when backing out. read more

Y'know, I love ATMs. I really do. They're pretty easy to work with, and they scan everything to make sure you're really depositing what you say you're depositing. However, when I go to a bank, I expect there to be actual people that can provide me with banking services that ATMs can't. And this? This is just freaking terrible. All I needed to do was make a deposit and get some change. And the friendly lady said I could get change from the ATM, which it wouldn't do in the relatively simple denominations I needed. I had to go across the street to A+ to withdraw money in the proper denominations. And the cute gal in there told me this happens all the time! What?! How is it that you haven't woken up, UFCU? This is a terrible location. Oh, and the best part is that because it's an ATM transaction, they can withhold the majority of your deposited checks and MONEY ORDERS for several days. And now I get to be late paying some bills because these asshats just can't figure out that sometimes you need a person to do a machine's job. read more

I'd give this bank 0 stars if I could. I called with my father-in-law who does bank with them to ask a simple question and the woman was set on giving him a hard time and refused to answer the question that was not even sensitive. On a card that was given to him with the account numbers for checking and savings they start with 1800 and 1000, then they are followed by the account numbers, we were asking when setting up direct deposit do we need to put the 1800 or 1000 and she couldn't answer the question only because she didn't want to. They made my decision to switch so easy. I just had a feeling that UFCU was where I needed to move to and boy was I right. I was greeted from the beginning by Mrs. Alethia. I was nervous about making such a move and she calmed my nerves instantly. There are people persons out there and then there are angels..That is who I met today. Kind, considerate, fun to talk to, informative, knowlegeable, helpful, inviting. There are not enough words. This location is awesome, if you prefer the old fashioned wait in long lines and waste time this is not the banking solution for you. There are friendly and courteous staff available, but the real gem is the self service ATM machines...you can virtually do anything so its like the "Jetsons" meets a credit union. My debit card was malfunctioning and they printed me a new one on the spot, and I was able to get documents notarized, and faxed at no charge. I have always had a great experience here and I am so happy there is a location here in the Round Rock/Pflugerville area. read more

I called customer service and they kept transferring and hanging up on me for 2 hours straight with no answers! They eventually just hung up on me and I couldn't call back because they were closed! I visited this location today to make a deposit. I was so dissapointed that all it is a ATM location with 4 walls. I can't believe money was wasted on building this location. Honestly this is the best bank ever! My mom needed a loan to get me car for college. So after trying A+ FCU, we got denied & our interest rate would be 18% but I decided to try at UFCU. Aileen is the best financial advisor, I've ever met, she taught me so much stuff about credit in 30 minutes. She opened an account for my mom, and got us started with the loan application. JJ Peckham was our loan officer. He was so nice & understanding. He got us approved with a 6.8% interest rate. He's the real MVP. He helped my mom & I so much & I really appreciate it. They are friendly, but I am not satisfied with quality of their customer services. Whenever I go there, they don't solve my problems but make them worse. I end up making lots of extra calls and emails to clear them up. I would never go back to this branch. Steck and Round Rock always do better jobs. read more

This bank is fine until you need help with a dispute or chargeback. The dispute department sucks! They don't care about the customers. The provide provisional credit and then take it back with no warning. They claim that they sent you letter via mail but never do. Once they even said the letter got returned to them and I asked for proof of return mail and they had no proof. They're disputes department has been outsourced to a foreign country that only gives generic responses. Since I've been with this bank their dispute department has screwed me over every chance they get. I've had enough, I'm closing my account. read more

Wow, I'm surprised to read that people are not satisfied with the quick and easy way detailed ATM machine, especially with today's technology where we are learning to do everything more independently. I honestly hate to wait on tellers and long lines. The new UFCU in Pflugerville allows you to get what you need done in just a matter of minutes. I'm always on the go go, so it's nice to be able to walk up to the ATM machine and do whatever is necessary. I just wanted to leave a review for this UFCU. I had to go to the bank as my debit card had been hacked over the weekend for $575 (ouch). Frankly i was shaking walking in the door because it left w me w about $18 left in the account; and i was afraid i d never see the money again. I was fortunate enough to see the office manager margot harmatuk. She isolated an extreme charge to a shopping outlet for $575 and soon had me on three way with customer service to file a dispute. The dispute process was fairly pain free and not long before Margot had my old card canceled and a new temporary issued while she acted as mediator for the 3 way. Thank God UFCU issued a provisionary credit for $575 avail usually within 24 hours. OMG was i happy about that. Margot was very helpful explaining the transition to temporary card while a new permanent card would be mailed. She also managed to find a discrepancy between physical address and mailing address which no one else had caught. She also went the extra mile to go with me to the Atm to make sure the card allowed me to pay on a loan via their Atm machines. Basicallyshe held my hand thru the whole process; and i was so grateful she didnt just say "here- call this 800# and they ll help you over the phone..". So thank you M Harmatuk for all your help; and turning a crestfallen customer back to a place of hope. read more
