That's when I found out the 50% only applies to the coffee drinks. Everything here is served in paper or plastic cups, another so called cafe with no dishwasher. The lattes were a bit weak but definitely ok. The smoothie was good, not premade, a young man blended it up right there using frozen berries. It was also ok. The granola/yogurt (Power Bowl) is not in a bowl but a small plastic cup with a snap on lid. The barista actually cut up a banana and then layered the ingredients. Hard to eat out of that cup but it tasted very good. There is a full time guy whose job is to keep the homeless away and welcome you. Another guy walks you to the restroom and opens the combination lockset for you. The ambiance is laid back and relaxing but it is apparently a destination for doing business here in the cafe. There is even a private meeting room available.

There is no lobby service in downtown Austin, weather in New York City or Austin most BofA have no lobby service, appointments are booked up and they are days away, your combined Merrill and BofA accounts don't communicate with each other, attempting to get a needed closing document is near to impossible, you can't get a mortgage loan in this electronic age faster than 35 days, while a private loan company can. I could go on but it's much of the same. I will never recommend BofA to any family member, friend or anyone for any business.

And her co-workers have gone out of their way to be accommodating when she's not been available. I dont know how their fees/etc. relate to other similar banks, but there are convenient locations across Texas and California, and they change dollars to pesos. It's a little weird that their walk-up ATM in the lobby doesn't have deposit slips but no one has yelled at me for walking through the drive through ATM outside so no big deal. P.S. On Fridays they have popcorn too.
