Super convenient if you have a capital one card because you get half off! I got a pour over and it was super yummy!
Came in on a Monday morning during MLB Monday and noticed they had a new seasonal menu. I decided to try the cherry vanilla matcha latte with oat milk. The matcha latte itself was really good, better than I remembered from before. The cherry cold foam was noticeably tart which is not really my preference. I actually liked the latte more before I mixed it all together. If you like tart though this is the drink for you. Always great service here as well.
This is my dog's favorite neighborhood haunt for two reasons: pup cups (harder and harder to come by these days) and the friendly staff who give her all the pats and shower her with attention.
I had only been to one other Capital One cafe before visiting this one but the difference was so stark! As soon as we stepped into this cafe, we were greeted and welcomed in. The young g woman greeting folks was very friendly asking us all about what brought us in, etc As far as vibe goes, given its location, there was a general serious & corporate ambiance (unsurprisingly). Most patrons seemed to be either students studying or professionals taking meetings / networking. I had an iced Americano (but customized the number of shots bc it usually comes with 6!!). The Americano was smooth and lovely. It paired great with my warmed chocolate croissant which featured a good amount of chocolate.
The Capital One Cafe has one of the best coffee deals downtown. You get 50% off your order when you pay with a Capital One or Discover card. I couldn't pass this up, so I even opened a free checking and savings account to take advantage of it. The space itself is a blends a cafe and a bank, which makes banking feel much more approachable. It's also a great place to study or work. It has plenty of private rooms and tables available. My go to order is the matcha latte. It tastes great and comes out to around $3 with the discount. That price is hard to beat anywhere else especially downtown.
Great place to take a break or connect to work, has reservable rooms, atm and is right on 6th street. You get 50% off on beverages if you have their credit card. Has table games and free WiFi.
Tried the cherry matcha with a friend and we both thought it was delicious! The matcha wasn't super strong, but it was a great afternoon pick me up that could allow you to fall asleep later. We liked it so much we were brainstorming how to make it at home afterwards! The service was great and the barista was very friendly!
Austin, Tx. When I heard that Cap One Cafe knocks off 50% if you use your Cap One credit card to purchase, I rushed right down and ordered two lattes, a smoothie, and a Yogurt/granola cup. That's when I found out the 50% only applies to the coffee drinks. Everything here is served in paper or plastic cups, another so called cafe with no dishwasher. The lattes were a bit weak but definitely ok. The smoothie was good, not premade, a young man blended it up right there using frozen berries. It was also ok. The granola/yogurt (Power Bowl) is not in a bowl but a small plastic cup with a snap on lid. The barista actually cut up a banana and then layered the ingredients. Hard to eat out of that cup but it tasted very good. There is a full time guy whose job is to keep the homeless away and welcome you. Another guy walks you to the restroom and opens the combination lockset for you. The ambiance is laid back and relaxing but it is apparently a destination for doing business here in the cafe. There is even a private meeting room available.
Came her to meet/catch up/work with a friend. We were greeted by friendly staff upon walking in. They have plenty of seating despite there being a good amount of people inside the cafe. Not too loud, but maybe hard to take a meeting/phone call. They do have a quiet area, which is nice. Bathroom is shared so there maybe some wait. I ordered the yogurt parfait and some iced latte which was good to get me started and through the day! I would definitely recommend this place - good for remote workers, also just as a cafe in downtown.
What a gem! Saw the sign a d decided to go in and check it out. Greeted right away and lattes were made quickly and were delicious. Jealous I don't have one near me!
This was my first time at a Capital One Cafe. They offer 50% off their drinks if you pay with a Capital One card. The amenities are nice for collaborating - They have a white board and some conference rooms. Overall, I think their tables (outside of the conference rooms) were a bit small for group work. They also have a seating area to sit and have a coffee chat.
Capital one credit card holders get 50% off at the café. The coffee came out really good so I'm very impressed and the staff was very knowledgeable about the credit card love of our coffee and loved this special discount.
Nice cozy location. Always fast service and tasty drinks. I like the fact I pay half of the price. Located in a very convenient spot.
A really nice cafe, especially if you have a Capital One card and can get 50% off your drinks. I really like that they use quality coffee beans, and their matcha is honestly one of the best I've tried. The ingredients taste fresh and high-quality, and there's plenty of seating if you want to bring your laptop, get some work done, or just relax for a while. The space is bright, clean, and comfortable. The only downside is the location downtown, so parking can be a bit of a hassle and you'll probably need to use paid parking. Overall, a great cafe with really good drinks. The service is quick, and the baristas are friendly and do a great job. The coffee and matcha are definitely the highlights for me! read more

I regret that I did not visit Capital One Cafe earlier. I also did not know they serve my fav coffee beans from Verve Santa Cruz Service was great and friendly. Inside is well lit spacious. There are meeting rooms, charge stations and so on. As other people said if you have a capital one credit card, you also get 50% discount. I will be back! read more
We have been going to the Capital One Cafe every Monday while they have the MLB free coffee promotion going on. It's conveniently located right downtown. When you walk in, you are greeted by several employees. We keep joking that the friendly man at the entrance is the literal Capital One Cafe guy from the commercials. They serve verve coffee and I have really enjoyed their iced latte, americano, and cold brew. The signature honey lavender latte is really delicious, but was too sweet for me. Next time I would try it half sweet. The cafe itself is comfortable and always busy. They have connect for that you can play while waiting for your drinks. Last time we played, my fiance won and the capital one man appeared with a coupon for a free drink. I'm not totally sure how this place operates, but the coffee is good and the people are just so so friendly and positive. I will continue going here after the free Monday promotion ends. read more

A lot of the tables are really small, so it's not really a good place to do your work/socialize with people unless you snag the one big table. Outlets are available at the counters. Drinks are 1/2 off if you are a capital one member. Got the chai latte! read more

This place is a lifesaver, especially during the SXSW film festival. Since I am always busy watching movies at the nearby Paramount and Stateside theaters, the location of this Cafe makes it the perfect place to stop to recharge my phone and rest my feet! It's free for anyone to enter, but you get coffee and espresso at their modest cafe for half price if you show them your Capital One card. The prices are already pretty cheap, but they're ever cheaper with your card. The coffee is fine, but it's nothing super gourmet. If you're happy with a basic cappuccino or latte, you'll be perfectly fine with anything on the menu. There are lots of comfy seats and plugs for charging, and it's a great place to work. I've used this place as a downtown temporary office several times to type up movie reviews when I'm trying to meet a tight deadline. I've found the employees to be exceptionally warm and friendly too, and they don't try to sell you anything or push their financial services. I've always felt welcome and appreciated whenever I stop in. They have an atm and a bathroom (you have to ask for a code) too. I wish it was open later because they close around 5, but that's probably just to keep the downtown Austin riff-raff from causing trouble. read more
I've been wanting to check out this cafe since i am a capital one member but i never find myself downtown during the day! I finally checked it out a few days ago and what an experience. Not only was the coffee good, the service was exceptional. I am someone who will repeated go back somewhere JUST for good service, even if their food/drinks were average. This place had food coffee & good service CHA-CHING, ive hit the jackpot. I did work here for a couple of hours and the tables were always clean and multiple people who will jump at the opportunity to service you. read more
Any coffee addiction, Capital One card holders and study/business meeting individuals need to come here! They are always in a good mood even when I'm not, very kind and attentive. Coffee is delicious and it's right across my job. 1/2 if you have a Capital one card, my wife has it, but sometimes they provide the discount even if I don't have it. I come here often because of the hospitality. They even have board games and puzzles while you wait. read more

We were greeted immediately upon entering, and given coupons for free coffees. Nice. Ordered a cappuccino and a honey lavender latte. Both were great, no complaints. Found out that if we would get 50% off future coffee drinks if we paid with Capital One credit cards. Also nice. Located in the renovated Littlefield Building, Capital One Cafe is a clean, quiet, light-filled space with ample seating and tables for remote working, reading or playing board games. Staff, including a security guard, are courteous. read more

Always checking our capital one cafe. Thankful there's one in this location. The museum across from it was closed temporarily so my son and I came for matcha and coffee. I had matcha latte with almond milk and my son had honey lavender tea. Great drinks. But the server refused to heat up my already purchased cheese danish pastry. He said he was closing in thirty minutes and he needs to clean it. I ended up giving the pastry to the homeless. Otherwise, area was clean, there was a lady outside who was sweet and helpful. The restroom has keypad locks. Disappointed with the server. Street parking is available and may use credit card. read more
First time at the Austin Capital One Café. It has a cozy environment, feel to it. They have private nooks for you to study in, or the main area where you can grab a coffee or latte and get some work done as well. I had come in with an issue with my account and Jeremy helped me out by helping me contact the appropriate representatives, which I believed definitely sped up the process compared to me having done it on my own.I really appreciate his help! Also I got the turmeric ginger latte, with honey lavender. It was definitely very soothing and delicious. read more
I've been a capital one user for nearly two decades. I've recently began utilizing the cafes since returning from abroad. Being politely greeted upon entry, experiencing exquisite and engaging service when ordering food, couple with a correctly temperatured room, made for a phenomenal working experience. Remote work is tough, so having a welcoming well designed place for meeting and meaningful work are sometimes hard to find. This cafe gets it right from a service and ambiance perspective. Kudos to the leadership and entire team for creating a truly wonderful space. Although I'm in Round Rock, my wife and I will certainly be returning. It's worth the drive. read more

Note: they will be closed on Thanksgiving. My husband works next door, so sometimes when he doesn't want to drive, I become his chauffeur and deliver him here. I don't have the credit card to receive the discounts and benefits but I'll say that Peet's coffee is delicious and their toasted bagel is good. Nice place to grab a quick bite if you're in the area and want something light. The people working here seems happy and friendly, looks like a good environment to be in. Great place to work a bit and study with all these outlet plugs available. It's welcoming, not too loud (I might be the loudest with occasional meetings). Don't worry about the staff wanting to introduce offers to you. This is the second time I'm here and no one actually approached me after I said I don't have the card with a smile. However, depending on how often I'll be here and how many cups of coffee I'll be drinking, I may ask them about deals later on. read more
