Parked right in front, walked in, was greeted within a minute and brought back. My info was confirmed, I did my prints, provided my passport and was in and out within less than ten minutes including my trip to their restroom. Extremely organized, fast paced, friendly, get it done staff who absolutely deserve nothing less than a 5 star rating! Excellent service, highly recommend! Under staffed, website not helpful. Schedule an appointment or you are screwed! I waited for over 2 hours, 15 minutes just for one of these ladies to come to the counter. More people arrived and I should have been helped next but got pushed back so much. Make an appointment this place sucks ass! This place is a fucking joke! If you're a frequent traveler or just hate having to remove your shoes, laptop, liquids, etc., then this is for YOU! By enrolling in TSA Pre-Check, you're able to by pass all that stuff and use the special TSA Pre-Check line if the airport has that available. It's quite simple: 1) Fill out the online application, which is essentially a detailed background check. This will ask for history going back a few year of all the places you've lived, worked, criminal history, immigration/customs issues, etc. So, just be sure to have all the info you need when you go through this. When you create the account, it will save your information so you can fill out the data in phases if you'd like. 2) After you've submitted the application, schedule your appointment. After scheduling the appointment, you can choose to try to walk-in if you'd like. When I went, it was pretty empty. 3) When going to the appointment, bring your identification (passport, driver's license, etc.), proof of citizenship (passport, birth certificate, etc.) and your payment (credit card, money orders, cashier's check). Remember the payment is only for submitting the application. There aren't any refunds if you are rejected. 4) Once you arrive, you check-in and wait. They'll call you in and all you have to do is verify your identification, your answers, give your fingerprints, sign your name, and make the payment. 5) When you're done, you'll get a receipt with your reference number so you can check the status. It says it typically takes 21 days, but my status was updated after a couple days so it varies. You will also receive a letter indicating if you've been approved. Overall, this process was so easy. The location was very convenient. This place has some parking, but I chose to park on the street. The enrollment center is located in a red building and the business next to it is some type of fitness/UFC type of gym. The staff was very polite and friendly through the entire process. I do have to say I was only there maybe a few minutes maximum. It was really quick. I absolutely and highly recommend this to everyone. The process might seem a bit lengthy, but the benefit is just amazingly awesome especially if it makes travel a bit less stressful! read more

After 3 days I logged onto the TSA sight and had been approved and given a traveler number. About 2 weeks later I got the official letter. The staff at this place is awesome. I'm taking my Mom in next week to get her pre approved paperwork filed. read more

I visited this review page first and followed Hugh H. steps outlined in his excellent detailed review which you fill find posted on this page. I fly on average once per week and got tired of the hit-and-miss arbitrary TSA-Pre assignments by the airlines. 1. Go online and read about required documents 2. Gather documents 3. Fill out on-line application and select the nearest UE TSA Pre enrollment center near you. 4. you will receive an appointment confirmation, usually 30 days from you application date 5. Wait 3 days and show up mid-week, mid-day. I was very lucky, walked-in with my appointment printed and the documentation used to fill out the application. No one there except me. The staff was very polite, escorted me immediately into the back. You will need to surrender your ID documents and a credit card. The process of document verification and finger printing plus payment took less than 10 minutes. 6. On your receipt you will find the web address for status updates. 7. Give it 3 to 5 working days and your online status will show your approved KTN (Known Traveler Number) 8. Enter the KTN in your online profile for the air-carriers you use and you are set for TSA-Pre on your future boarding passes. Happy traveling! It really couldn't be easier. Got there at 10:30 on a Thursday morning. Their signage is a little difficult to read, seeing as "601" is stenciled right above their door. They do have a faded, laminated sheet of paper reading 603 on the window, and the guy who helped me was nice enough to run out to the street and ask if I was looking for UES, as I passed several times thinking..."601...607. 601...607? A tarot reading place?" Bottom line: once I got there, I was in and out in less than 10 mins. Look for the flags out front, and actually read the signage in the window. Hands down the easiest, quickest and friendliest way to go about TSA Pre Check. Showed up 20 minutes before my appointment (because there was no traffic) and left 15 minutes before my actual appointment. It literally took 5 minutes. Done and done. Honestly, I can't believe that I'm reviewing this place. When my boss called me and told me to get a TWIC card ASAP, I had horrible visions of a DMV in a 3rd world country, bombed out, with hundreds of disgruntled people waiting in line for hours in an un-airconditioned warehouse. Well, that was simply not the case. This location is small, yes, but clean, and very very neat. Did I mention clean? Did I mention neat? Did the on-line enrollment and was given an appointment in just over a month. Curious to see if I could walk in and get the appointment over with, I sent out an e-mail and was advised I could with no problem. Words O Advice! BRING ALL OF YOUR DOCS WITH YOU!!! Having heard that this was a very efficient process I only brought what "they" said I needed on the web-site and found that even though I had my appointment confirmation with me, they COULD NOT FIND MY ENROLLMENT APPLICATION. The technician helping did so in a very mechanical manner and offered to re-enter all the data. Umm..OK? I sure the heck hope I can remember the street address of where I lived 4.5 years ago?! So my recommendation is to be safe and have a copy of everything you entered on-line with you. The other posts are correct, this went very quickly. I walked in around 10:00am and was seen within 5 minutes. The entire process took at the most 15 minutes. Finding the place took 2 drives around the block as it is a small store front. We enrolled on line for the TSA pre check and made an appointment. But we decided to go down and see if we could get the process moving faster as a walk in. WQWZA.....we were taken in within 5 to 10 minutes. While waiting that short time, I had a nice conversation with the front desk staff, very polite and personable. They brought up other services offered at the location, Criminal History checks and the Kids Identification kits. Good stuff. Came here to do my TSA pre-check enrollment and this place was so quick. Had an appointment at 12:15 and was out of there by 12:20. The employees were very nice and efficient. There is parking right out in front, but note that backing out of the spaces into oncoming traffic can be nerve-racking if there's a big car in your way. read more

The employee who processed my PreCheck managed to block my credit card because she didn't know how to swipe a card correctly and enter the security info. My bank said she swiped it too fast. She indicated that this had happened to her before many times. Wasted 30 minutes getting my card reinstated thanks to this incompetence. read more

I went to get my TSA PreCheck enrollment done. Talk about you In and Out in 15 minutes, and with no appointment either. This is the place to go if you want to skip the lines at the airport and go straight through security. I don't know why everybody wouldn't do this. read more

I filled out the pre check enrollment online and tried to schedule an appointment in the LA area for this week but the soonest was a week away. I decided to try my luck as a walk-in at the Glendale location as a reco from a friend. I waited less than 10 minutes for my name to be called at 1 PM on a Tuesday. The whole appointment takes about 5 minutes which consisted of fingerprints on both hands, $85 payment & confirming all the data entry that was previously entered was correct. I highly recommend coming here and avoiding the LAX option. Can't wait for the TSA Pre Check line on my next flight! read more

I came here to complete the process of applying for TSA pre-check privileges. An extremely rude employee answered the door in the back and interrupted every question I asked. After being ushered to the front and waiting for about two minutes, another, and much friendlier, employee assisted me and took my payment. Then I was instructed to go back behind the front desk among a series of cubicles to be fingerprinted. As I was walking to the cubicle, low and behold, guess who popped her head out to direct me the rest of the way? If you guessed 'another friendly employee', you'd be wrong. It was in fact the same extremely rude lady who let me into the place. She proceeded to provide confusing instructions for how to complete the finger-printing process and was talking to me literally like a criminal completing fingerprinting and booking process--I'm thinking now that she probably comes from the criminal justice system. Well she continued to interrupt my questions with orders that were quite frankly confusing. She didn't want to answer any questions and I left with only minimal reassurance about successful completion of the TSA application process. What a real "B" that lady was--you'll know if it's her by how she speaks to you. I'm also traveling with my wife next week--Turns out she needs to come in for a separate appointment and pay another $85. Well, for $85 and on my hard-earned day off, I expect to at least be treated respectfully, especially since I may not get approved in time for my trip next week. If not, it'll still be good for next time and for the next five years, and it was worth the long drive on my day off out here from Woodland Hills so that I could eat at Porto's up the street. Anyway, I'm only giving this place two stars for the hope that I get approved and if I do, the benefit of enjoying this TSA service. Bottom line, I recommend going somewhere else to complete this process if you want at least a pleasant experience. read more

I am married but didn't bring a marriage license, so I couldn't complete the process. The worker said all names must match. Not sure if I will go back. It reminded me of the DMV. Easiest, most convenient way to complete the TSA pre-screen application. It literally took me longer to find my keys in my purse, than to submit documents and give my fingerprints. I got the ball rolling by filling out the application online, and getting a user ID number. Decided to walk-in, as other reviewers mentioned, because I didn't want to wait for my appointment date due to an upcoming trip. It took me about one hour to drive over there, but I'd much rather sit in L.A. traffic than park at LAX, and go to the airport. I didn't even have to sit down in the waiting room, it was so fast. I even stopped at Porto's for a coffee and pastry, and leisurely drove home. I highly recommend this place to complete this application. Why go to the airport if you don't have to? That sounds stressful to me. The staff at this center were extremely friendly, reassuring, and fast. I left with a smile. read more
