We showed up on a Saturday close to when the branch was to close to complete our auto loan. April took the time to process our auto loan and make sure we were taken care of! The loan process went a bit longer than expected and April stayed a bit after regular business hours to take care of us. She probably had other places she could have been on a weekend but she stayed with us and made sure everything was completed and that our questions were answered. Factually the Lowest rated bank in the United States I will…read morestart with the facts, JP Morgan Chase is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau, almost all reputable banks are, Better Business Bureau has a disclaimer on the main page for Chase bank notifying you, they have so many complaints for Chase they can only publish one out of five complaints, hmmm. Chase bank has 1.3 score on trust pilot, right on par with black market sites, hmmm. Chase bank has a 1.2 score on this website, hmmm. I believe we have established a patterns based on facts. Do NOT bank with this company! I have had several experiences with this bank, first experience, they allowed someone to open several lines of credit in my name with absolutely no verification, wow that was super fun. A few years pass by and I unfortunately, decide to pick up the Freedom Unlimited card. I call them to set up my online account as a first time customer, this four hour call consists of verifying my information 10 separate times with 10 separate supervisors, all of which, of course would not give me their names or employee ID's, the summary of this call was for me to drive to a local branch forty minutes from my location so they can call them, hmmmm. That sounds productive. At this point I decide I will claim my cash back offer for opening the account, lock the card and pay off the balance. So I transfer the cash back from the Freedom Unlimited card to my personal checking account of twenty years, you know a Real bank, my personal checking account has the exact same name as my Freedom Unlimited card and both accounts have the exact same address. The system says, hey this isn't your account, we will have to make two deposits within 3 business days and get back to us with those amounts so we can verify your account. I go through this annoying process and it verifies my account, I then transfer the cash back to my personal checking account. I then receive calls, texts and emails from Chase that my account has been flagged for fraud and locked. I then call them to get back on the Chase hamster wheel of death, over the course of two days I call back 4 times to unlock my account for fraud, which apparently is transferring money from my account in my name to my account in my name, absolutely hilarious. I explain to the final supervisor, due to your error, once again, I will bounce a check, what can you do about that? He offers his apologies. Oh I thought this was a bank, where we deal in money and honor our obligations. Chase bank has earned every bad review it's been given, and will continue to do so. Just imagine the 100's of thousands of people who simply cancelled their accounts and didn't want to spend their time posting a review.

There are things I love about these guys and a few things I hate. Free checking with direct…read moredeposit and at least 12 transactions on the debit card is pretty cool. If you do that they actually let you collect interest on your checking account! It used to be 3% I think but then they lowered it to 1.5%. You can also use any ATM with no service charge. That is super cool and convenient. The draw backs are they are only in Utah. I lived out of state for a bit so that was kind of tough. They also have a very active fraud department. If you go out of town make sure you call and let them know or they will shut your card off. Also if you are out of town with a deactivated card you can only call them during business hours. Kind of a pain.

The worst bank I have ever banked with in my life. Twice there have been fraudulent charges on my…read moreaccount and they would not refund them. One of them I had to go through the company that charged the funds and took me over 6 months of calling, leaving messages, and e-mailing to get my money back. The second time the lady straight called me liar and said my card wasn't stolen and I had to file a police report to show footage of the person using my card and even then they would only give me back 90% of the money. I closed my account and two weeks afterward a charge came in and they let it go through and didn't notify me for two more weeks the whole time charging me $32 overdraft charges and $5 or $15 every single day. Do not risk using this bank. They are dishonest crooks and will do anything they can to steal your money.
