A local grown company, still staffed with your neighbors and friends. Heavily involved in supporting our communities both civically and financially. There are plenty of branches around to make them useful, they do everything from home/construction loans to car loans. Full service checking, business and merchant account services are available. Go into one of their branches and you're likely to find someone you know working there, and if not they want to make it that way.

They don't always succeed, but you always know they're doing their best. Some of their mistakes have been real humdingers, but they've always made it right. I appreciate their honesty in admitting what was done wrong, and rectifying it. With lots of children and multiple accounts, we're glad our adult kids have chosen to stay with WF, too. Money transfers have always been fast and accurate. We have multiple business and personal accounts through this branch location, and like the management. They've helped my very ADHD brain stay straight with all the left-brained math challenges that come with life, and I appreciate them, especially, for their patience as I negotiate things that don't come easy-like year-end taxes. Gotta dash-I need to use their free notary service right now. We recommend Wells Fargo Bank, and the Springville location and manager.

Their latest, use your debit card 10 times a month or pay a $10 fee. Before that, I had to have an automatic withdrawal from checking to savings each month to avoid the fees.... every other year or so over the last decade they have done the same kind of thing. The drive through ends up being a long (overly energetic and forced) conversation as they plow you over with mandated friendliness. I appreciate a "hi", a "how are you" and even a "how can I help you".... but wow, they just do all that times 10. I just want to scream back "I'm trying to count here! Sssshhhhh!". Visit before last, I got told I couldn't make a cash deposit into my checking account without ID. Hmmmm. I'm trying to fraudulently deposit cash into someone else's account? Regardless of the loan being ready for submittal they went ahead and pulled a hard inquiry on my wife and myself's credit without our verbal consent or written consent from what I can remember reading. After a few week's waiting for the title they were extremely slow to respond to any out reach and ended up denying the loan anyways because of a hiccup in the title. Ended up going through a different credit union and it took them all of a few days to have the whole process sorted would not ever go back to uccu.
