My husband took our Apple MacBook to ubreakifix for a battery replacement for $200. The battery didn't even last a year. Now, the battery has exploded, and we're taking it to Apple to remove the battery. UbreakIfix wants $40 just to open it because we're past warranty. The bottom panel is no longer attached to the laptop because of how much the battery has exploded/expanded. I have used other UBREAKIFIX locations without incident. This location seems to have some issues. I dropped my iPad off on December 9 to be repaired. I followed up the first time at the beginning of January and they did tell me that they were waiting for parts. Called again on January 12, 15 and 20th and left messages asking for a status update and a return call. They never called me back. Today is January 24 and I went to pick it up. No repairs have been made and when I requested it be returned to me they said they could send it out today. I'm not sure why they didn't send it out earlier. I understand if you're busy and if you're waiting on parts, but a simple update would've been appropriate. I'll take it somewhere else. Would not recommend. read more

BEWARE of FRAUD when using your credit card at this store. They are not honest! The Naples 9th st store charged my card twice for the same I phone repair, unknown to me until I checked my card statements. I called the store / owner many times for them to correct it, only to get the run around from them every time, from owner is busy, to owner is not here, he will call you back...but never did. Absolutely unacceptable. I had a 4 oclock appointment which was not honored. When I arrived I waited nearly 10 minutes until someone bothered to come to the front desk only to be told (rudely) that my appointment meant nothing and that it was first come, first serve. (Seeing as I teach in Immokalee, 4 is the earliest I can make it to a store that closes at 7. So I had to continue using a phone with a swollen battery until the weekend and hope for the best.) My past experience with the "owner" was Awesome! However I stopped in last week, and there was this tall dude there. Absolutely no personality, no greeting, it was very obvious he was "put out" by my presence. The plug in on my phone for the elec cord is shot. My wife dropped her iphone 7 which had no case and shattered the screen with pieces of glass missing after said fall. We drove to this naples location and they did not hesitate in helping her, quoting 139$ and a 40min. Wait time. The store was closing in one hour and so we gave the go ahead left her phone and went on a drive. When we returned, the phone was ready we then paid and left. Sorry, they replaced my battery on my Google Pixel XL and for two weeks it worked. Then the battery came loose and broke they motherboard. Since it wasn't installed properly. I was out of state and took it back when I returned to Naples . At first they said they would replace the motherboard but it would take a week to order it and since it was under warranty they would fix it. Then 10 days later they called and said pick the phone up they were not responsible for the damage caused by the battery....So I ended up with a broken dead phone instead of one with a battery that "worked" but rebooted the phone 30 times a day. So paid $99 for a "warranted " by google phone battery replacement and then I will have to pay tmobile for a broken phone. I always have a screen saver and case on phone so I am careful with my phone. Felt this was a management decision based on money not customer satisfaction. They could have told me a day after that they would not fix the phone, instead of telling me wait wait it will take a while but we will fix it. Then changing their tune a week later. So felt I had to write a bad review since first I was happy then it went totally down hill. I got a new phone and waiting to see how much more I will owe Tmobile for this issue. When I asked them why it took 10 days to tell me they were not going to fix my phone since it was at the same time frame as a new mother board they would only say it wasn't their fault. Well they opened the phone put a new battery in, the battery came loose, broke the motherboard and disabled the phone....so I think it was their fault. read more

i'be been to this store and had no issues but this time wasnt the case. they changed my screen with a blueish looking one( that bothers the eyes) and not supporting TRUE TONE function on iphone 8. they noticed first time i wasnt very happy and offered to switch it. i went again, didnt change much but looks like there wasnt much more they could do. i was preparing for a trip and a week later phone started turning off automatically after a minot use with. certain apps or trying to dial. so this became a huge issue as i was tavelling on my own and couldnt even dial 911!!! family got very scared and i had to find some time to visit an apple store. so u know how much time consuming this is right? had to find nearest one to me , had to make an appointment. actually i went to best buy first but they couldnt help me and made another appointment with apple. so have lost have a day right there! but it was for my safety, really a phone nowadays is probably most important thing. the rep there told me if it wasnt software issue, mother board was damaged. so guess i had to do full back up and be synced to wifi and stuck in one place while i had to pay hotels. i was thinking to get a new phone right then but my phone is really not old at all. so i did the back up, lost a little info(very important one, because im not very familiar with icloud and never like to do it). so it wasnt the software. when this was done was middle of the day, and called them so they said to bring the phone in and im in oklahoma at this time!!!? so finally one is nice and tell me i can visit ibreakufix there. googled one 30 mins away. so thanks god he changed part, he got into my shoes, i was so scared at this point. only thing he couldnt fix was getting the screen dark while talking , so this was little inconvinience i had to deal until end of trip when my air pods werent around to look like crazy talking on speaked because phone would dial and do whatever it wanted if put on ear. now i got back and this was removed but screen is still super cheap that wouldnt have option true tone, looking blueish and not getting at all times when i use touch screen which letter im trying to press. so its very irritating, eye bothering and not sure what to do. my option is getting a new phone i guess, which i didnt expect i had to deal with so quickly read more
