Got my screen replaced, now the fingerprint sensor doesn't work and they refuse to do anything about it. The phone is less than a week old

UBREAKIFIX: A Nightmare Customer Service Experience I've had a terrible experience with UBREAKIFIX. After my Samsung Fold 5's original screen protector bubbled, I took it to UBREAKIFIX. The first replacement lasted a week, the second a month. I returned to a different location for a fix, only to be told they couldn't help and I had to return to the original store. After months of waiting, I finally returned to the original store. The technician was unprofessional, took hours to fix the issue, and damaged my phone further. The final product had visible particulate matter and fingernail marks on the screen protector. My phone case was also missing. To add insult to injury, UBREAKIFIX corporate has been unresponsive to my complaints and has failed to offer any compensation. This entire ordeal has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. I strongly advise against using UBREAKIFIX for any computer, phone, video game console,or any repair needs. Read other people's nightmare experiences if you don't believe it. I will post this review anywhere I possibly can in hopes of preventing anyone else from having to go thru this. read more

On a scale of 1-10 I am being gracious on giving them a minus 10 in many areas. To start off with when I left the gaming system to be repaired they said they would honor the call centers price. The game had not been sent offuntil I called for an update 4 was later. Was then told it couldn't be fixed. Later went to pick it up and then was told they had it mixed up with another one and had actually not sent it yet. We are now looking at it being there for 2 months. When it is finally fixed Greg (supervisor) said the quoted price could not be honored and he would not let me speak with Mason who promised the price would be honored when I left the game. This place is a disaster and would not recommend it to anyone. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I went to this location to fix my screen on my IPad. Nothing was wrong with it before just the fact the screen was shattered. A day after taking it in there it started to ghost type and bottom half of the screen won't work. Took back in for the warranty and they literally did nothing. Say there and told me to my face that it basically was my fault. Now my iPad screen doesn't even wanna work. If I knew that it would have lead to this I wouldn't have went here. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! Go to Fix in a Zip or We fix it phone repair. Stay away and avoid giving this business your money. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TERRIBLE TECH SERVICE. Needed a new screen for a phone, went with these guys becuase they are a Google partner which means they should get OEM Google parts. I asked to see the screen they will install and the sale rep got all defensive and didnt want to hand me the screen. I wanted to see the print on the labels to verify for myself its Google OEM. I have seen my share of fake garbage and wanted to make sure I wasnt being stiffed for a $300 screen replacement with a cheap knock off screen. Already upsetting. I left the phone with them came back 2hrs later. Rep said he needed to unlock the phone to test the screen. I was handling my phone and unlocked it. All appeared well. I asked if I could just call it good and pay. I have banking apps and crypto wallets, on the phone. Didnt want anyone poking around. He demanded the screen must be tested. I asked if I can go in back and watch the screen be tested. I didnt want some minimum wage employee downloading and stealing my files, wallets, etc. He refused. I reluctantly handed the phone over (shouldnt have), he took it in back. A few minutes later he comes back and says the screen cant be tested because you dont have Google on the phone and that my phone is rooted. First of all my phone is not rooted, I have a different OS installed on it. I told him it is an android OS without Google and I do not have root privelege on the phone. He went back and forth telling me its rooted. Obviously he has no clue what he was talking about. He associates "rooted" with installing a different ROM / OS on the phone. Its like he just wanted to argue becuase I was correct from the very start. Didnt want my phone messed with, phone is not rooted, he couldnt test it in the first place. Totally uncalled for. This company needs to have the option to not test anyones screen and the customer can opt out of the testing. Because next time if I ever use this unprofessional service again I am taking my phone and if anyone gives me static about it, they can screw off and with someone like this guy, its going to get bad. If you have a phone and dont care about trusting any of your data with people out of your control and want OEM screens, then this is probably a good service for you. Otherwise steer clear. These people are pushy, unconcerning of customers wishes for special circumstances such as this. read more

My camera on my phone has been acting strange for at least a month now, where the camera lense looks blurry in regular video mode but when you zoom 5x it works perfectly. Obviously super inconvenient. I called up to UBreakiFix and they had the parts ordered and told me to bring it in the next day. I did and when they were finished with it, I honestly couldn't tell much difference but didn't want to argue the time they put into it. The next day I ended up calling back and they took it immediately and called me back within the hour and it was ALL fixed. I appreciate all the time and work these guys do up there. We always turn to them when we need something fixed. read more

It was quick and easy. They sent me the text when my iPad was done. Reasonably priced.

I brought my I phone in and it came back WITHOUT the screws in the bottom and there screens are low quality.

Won't let me do zero stars. So disappointed .Took my phone in to fix screen estimated time 2-3 hours. Never got a phone call that it was ready, 5 and 1/2 hours later we stopped by to check on it. They handed to us and it was scattered on the back. When we pointed it out, we were told oh we thought you dropped it off like that. We left the phone with the understanding they were going to replace the back free of charge. I had some questions so I called back to speak to manager and never received a phone call. I asked River about it being scatter and he said " I guess it was accidentally broken in our store." Never got a call about it being broken, nor did the manager call me back. I called back hours later to go get my phone and no repairs had been started. When I went to pick up my phone, nothing had been done to the phone. Please if you read this go to Battery Joes. We only came here since it was who the insurance people sent us to. Battery joes always have been amazing with the quality of their work and customer service is 5 stars.
