I brought my Moto G 5G (2023) to the Battery Joe on Georgia Street with ONE problem -- a cracked screen. The phone worked fine. The power button worked, the battery was normal, and nothing was wrong with it except the screen. After they took it to the back, suddenly I was told my power button was broken and my battery was swollen. That is not the condition I walked in with. These problems appeared only after they handled my phone. They also gave me my cracked screen back in worse shape and did NOT return the tools or the new screen packaging that I brought in. That's shady and unprofessional. It makes it look like something went wrong while they were working on it and they didn't want to admit it. Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to act like the damage was already there. It wasn't. I know my own device, and I know exactly how it was working before I handed it over. I've already filed a BBB complaint because the way I was treated at this location was unfair, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. Management needs to step up and address this situation. read more

We went in to get an iPhone7+ screen replacement, the guy behind the counter had us fill out a paper, and said it would take 45 mins. When we got it back it was replaced and works amazing. They do give a lifetime warranty for the glass, so if it's not working properly they'll be able to replace it for you. They have lots of batteries in there, I think for little kids cars and things like that. They also have some cases in there for a few phones and can even purchase a phone there as well. read more

I went in to have my screen replaced.The guy pretended like everything was perfect, but when I got halfway home I noticed half of the screen was off of my phone. I called him about the problem and he made excuses. He said it was my battery that made the gap. I just had my battery replaced a month before this. If it was the battery and he saw it then why did he just put my phone case back on instead of telling me or offering to fix that too??? The store is called battery fucking joe????!!!! read more

I'm not one to write reviews on anything, but these guys are worth writing one for! I've used them a few times now for a cracked screen or LED replacement and every time they are very respectful, cheap, and quick! Before coming to Battery Joe I would get my screen fixed at the mall, but one of the booths hacked my phone and everything on it. Needless to say there was an investigation and it was a huge mess. Forewarning if you're ever thinking about taking it to the mall, don't! Battery Joe is well worth it. read more

I cracked my IPhone X last month, being from Houston and not trusting third pary screen repairs I only wanted to go to Apple. In Amarillo Tx it is 4.5 hours to the neares apple store so I took my phone to Battery Joes because I won't be going home for awhile. I knew if they fixed my screen apple will never touch my phone again but because my grandma used to go to them I trusted them. I paid $284.68 to get my phone fixed. Yes they were fast, and it seemed simple, until not even a week later my LED light went out on my phone. I drove a hour and a half because I don't live in Amarillo to get my phone fixed a second time. Yes the process was easy, but hardly a week later my LED light went out again. Then a week and a half later, which is today, the screen will randomly go black with green lines, I called and he said to bring it in AGAIN and I was told that the LED light is going out. That's another hour and a half drive and struggle to find a ride. If you got lost they have fixed my phone 4 times. The only compensation I recieved for all this trouble was a $10 battery for my dads watch along with Zach telling me if it happened again they would "fix my phone and give me a refund" That was told to me the second time because my dad was upset thinking it was me. The third and fourth time I got nothing but a "Hopefully you have better luck with this one" Fast foward to today when I asked him what about the refund he promised me because the third time I brought it in he wasn't there, I was told that he can put a broken nonapple screen on my phone and he would give me my money back. (Remind you that isn't what I was told with my dad there.) As a refresher, That means when I do go back home (remind you there isn't a Battery Joe in Houston) I'll be screwed because Apple can tell that my screen isn't a Apple screen. I am beyond pissed and disappointed. I will never refer anyone else to them and I suggest you stay away.!!!! read more

I purchased a $120 battery to install in a motorcycle. Put the battery in and nothing worked, started to wonder if it was something else. Checked a few things and determined everything was good. You buy a battery and you expect it to work, I had the battery checked and it was very low on voltage and amps. I would think a battery shop would keep a check on their batteries. read more

I went into Battery Joe because my husbands' iPhone charger port wasn't working. The gentleman behind the counter took the phone, cleaned out the port, tested the connection and handed it back to me good as new! I asked how much I owed him and he told me "nothing!" I was shocked at how easy the fix was and how generous they were! I will definitely be back to Battery Joe for all our battery/iPhone needs! read more

On the first cold day of the year, I couldn't get my car to start. I was at home with my car in the garage. It appeared that a new battery would get me up and running. I called AAA only to be told they don't offer on-site battery installation in our area. I proceeded to call several tire dealers and other mechanics only to be told time and again that they didn't offer mobile service. It hadn't occurred to me to try Battery Joe's. I didn't realize they sold auto batteries. Their webpage said they would come to my house and jump my car. Then I could follow them to their store to buy a replacement battery. That sounded like it would work so I called to schedule an appointment. I asked about mobile service and was completely surprised to find that for a $25 fee, they would bring the battery and install it at my house. I booked the appointment and was told it would be about an hour. Their technician arrived early, did the work, didn't leave a mess and was professional. Price charged was the amount quoted when appointment was scheduled. Extremely pleased and highly recommend!!! read more
